Good luck to him. We need to trim the numbers, too many players contracted too the club and not in the plans for now or short term future.

well done Bradford. O'Connor was nowhere near the first name on my list for a cull.

Hi all.

Just read that bookies have stopped taking bets on Clarke going to Tottenham, "as the deal is virtually done". Dunno whether to believe or not.

I've been told this is true, fee around 18 million. Expect this to fund the summer to be honest. Also seen helder costa has followed leeds on twitter and instagram, expect the sale to go through and radz to dig deep and invest. Clarke is a big loss but if he fulfills his potential he could be excellent one day, deserves recognition on the international stage, and he's more likely to do so at tottenham. spurs will have wanted to keep this one under wraps, and we know clarke will want the move, just glad leeds have held their own for once and put their foot down on price. I'd say investing for promotion is more important than keeping a lad who won't fulfill his potential with us.

Hope so, £20 million on a player we wouldn’t miss, I rate Shackleton and Stevens higher.

Bookies will be suspending betting because it protects their interests as they must be taking lots of bets on it and if they continue taking bets and the move happens it could leave them in a dodgy situation financially. It doesn't mean its going to happen.

More talk on Clarke to Tottenham today. Looks like it could be happening. TBH I'd be happy with £20m for him. Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to go, but I don't see him being a player that is vital to getting us promoted.

I tend to agree unless he features more than he did last season. He made an impact before Christmas when he was coming on but then after his mysterious illness (some kind of disagreement with the club perhaps after the Jan window? ) early Feb he barely played. Do we really have 3/ 4 years to develop him or do we need players who can make a difference right now?

20MIL? Two 10mill wingers in his place. Go for it.

£10m needed every year just to balance the books

£5 in reserve for fees, wages, taxes

£5m to spend on players.

Sorry but I don't wanna see Clarke go. Seen too many of our youngsters go in the past and now we have a manager that believes in youth. Bad move for me! Saying that we might loan him back maybe?

£20m for a young player with flashes of talent but not proven consistently is good business. Indeed, in games when he came back late in the season looked ineffective at times.

If it happens tho, Radz needs to notably adapt his 'loans and free agents only' mantra. That won't fly following (if this goes through) the club's second biggest transfer fee after Rio. Don't expect or want to break the bank, however especially don't want to see 1 yr loans bust this hopeful investment on a 1 yr promotion folly if we don't make it.

CB possibly Ben White (buy now not loan) Costa (buy) a second winger maybe Harrison given how much Bielsa seems to rate him (buy) and a central attacking playmaker with a killer pass to replace what we lost from Saiz leaving.

Sell, loan or in must desperate mutually terminate those doing nothing for the club (Ideguichi - looks nearly done - Saiz, Sacko, Cibicki, O'Kane, Anita, De Bock) . Jury out on if Casilla is leaving or not.

Use that to give new contracts to those deserving of them Roofe springs to mind (and purchase a new keeper if we do indeed sell Casilla) = fair.

Still think that we haven't covered ourselves in glory. As Ideguchi looks like he is out of the door I wish him well and hope that if his future is with Osaka he stays fit and runs their midfield for years to come.

We have apparently put a considerable bid in for Fulham youngster Cody Drameh (RB) . Highly rated and was thought to be going abroad until this bid. There seemingly is no let up in our U23 recruitment.

Rumoured to be in for Liverpool's Ovie Ejaria, a centre mid who impressed at Reading last season so much they want him back. But is he good enough to improve us?

Ok, Bielsa, reconfirmed, Carlos staying, so far no key players left, So far so good! Priority this week, a certain Senor Saiz, we don't want him back, he doesn't want to come back, everyone has this week to sort something or he is going to be expected back. Useful to get some cash and free up some wages as he is now back on our wage bill. This weeks priority please!

After that I'm looking forward to Friday and all the dates so I can plan my year

Let's fill the week with a little sweepstake, who will we get in the first game. For me the gods say Derby away! Anyone else?
