So, it looks like Ipswich want Rodon but, Daniel Levy has said that he, Rodon prefers going back to Leeds on loan while Levy would much prefer a sale, although it’s now been mentioned that we pay 6.5M up front and on completion of promotion we pay a further 6.5M for him, Levy is a tough negotiator though. It’s taken a whole new angle now due to Summerville saying he’s not looking to leave Leeds and Wober is being lined up as a make shift in any deal. Lots of ifs and buts yet gents. ??.

I also don’t think we will get Rodon. We do talk about players not being committed to the cause; if he’s only interested in another loan, then what does that tell us about him? Many clamouring for Cressy to get an opportunity, but JR would be the brick wall to that. I’d prefer Wobs and Pasc anyway, with Cressy as backup, plus another one at least. There’s also a big lad from the 21’s who looks handy, tho I forget his name, again! ???.

There are a few German teams looking at new managers for next season and click bait has mentioned Daniel Farke, well what I do know that is genuine is that DF was talking to Jermaine Beckford last weekend and the subject was mentioned to him by JB, DF replied that, it had been a burning ambition to manage in the Championship again with a team that has good credentials for promotion because he wants to prove to himself and his doubters that he can be a success in the Premiership. He said he felt that he was unfairly treated by Norwich and the media because he had no real funds available for player additions and he was told the second time they went up he could use the full parachute payment, he actually got given £21M for a complete overhaul to stay in the league. Pukki he said was past his best and they needed a striker but nothing happened, so in his words, he sort of give up and he said he son wants to prove people wrong and here’s the best bit… he believes that this can be accomplished by him with Leeds United. He said the 49ers are a dream.

He's 100% right. Webber was a right tight b*stard and gave him pennies. Played some decent stuff in the Prem from game to game, but didn't have the quality to do it regularly. He will cook with some financial backing.

IF we do go up, I have no doubts about either the 49ers OR Daniel Farke delivering what’s needed. We should have rid of the “ship jumpers” as Whitey labels them, a nice boost to the P&L, and Farke can then get they 4/ 5 players we sorely need to not just stay up, but compete in the mid range of the table.
The first word is critical to this tho! Game on!

I was looking at the live match chat on this site today and there was a lot of posts, but sadly not one of them was positive. The way many talk about Leeds on here is borderline questionable, I sometimes have to check that I am reading a Leeds United banter site and not a Chelsea we hate Leeds site!
I mean come on lads, ok it’s not the best start and anyone can beat anyone in this league. Lots of you are banging on about Bogle being crap, Gruev, Junior Firpo and lots of others. Baz you were desperate for Gnonto to stay, but now he’s crap. We are five games in, 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss of which we should have won.
This chat about MJ and Bamford, well for me Bamford should be gone grazing somewhere and MJ will only get better by experience, I bet he won’t miss a chance like that again as his experience of missing it will make him better. Let’s give these young lads a break.
Firpo is doing a lot better than last season, splitting Ampadu and Rodon up hasn’t seemed to work, Rodon seems lost next to Struick. Gruev doesn’t seem to want to play next to Ampudu. The whole set up seems to be failing. Is Gnonto our 10 or is Anderson?
What disappointed me today was DF’s reaction to being one nil down, he took of Anderson when he was lively, he brought on AO far to late, 85th minute I think, our replacement for Cry was great when he came on, but they are not getting long enough, Piroe came on and was about as effective as a chocolate biscuit in hot coffee, what is going on?
I know that a lot of negativity is rife on here, but come on Baz, please change the record regarding Meslier, he’s not going anywhere soon and we really don’t have any replacements, this is not having a go at you either Baz, you are a good poster but you really are like a dog with a bone and just won’t let go.
I get if we don’t win and all that, it’s not that it is weaker league and Burnley are second favs to go up with us. We are FIVE games in, we will get promoted, DF just has to start earning his crust or he’s out, but it will all come good. Great posts OP, Brighty, Dill, Cleggy and Aus, Alf, Corky, MOTagain, Ani, others just have to keep the faith, start being honest instead of just slating us all the time, When I saw a six year old boy who died on the screen today getting applauded it hurt at half time that on our live chat on here it never got a mention as there was just loads of negativity. Some observations
1) Two seasons ago Woody you stated repeatedly along with OP : ' Leeds will not get relegated ' But we did!
2) Last season you stated repeatedly along with OP ' Leeds will get promoted ' But we did NOT!
3) So forgive me BUT why on earth should one believe you or OP or concur with your statement that one should not exercise one's right to be critical (when indeed there is plenty to be critical of! )
4) Indeed Woody even you in half of your post above you have been CRITICAL!
5) I was brought up on excellence for my club Leeds United and I expect better! I have higher expectations and standards for my beloved club!
6) Re Statue Meslier . the unprofessional motionless and out of position guy has to do better in so many games! Dive! Save! He is frigging 6 foot 6 with long arms he should be awesome but instead he is losing us points year upon year ! He should be nowhere near our first eleven imo!
7) Gnonto missing a sitter again greatly disappointed me . and we had little pace in our team. I missed DJ big time.

Meslier is one of the youngest goal keepers in the league, the thing is we already know what you think of him so do you have to keep repeating yourself? Here’s a fact for you Baz, Brighty’s posts, OP posts, Ani’s posts, Class’s posts, Corky’s posts and many many others are great honest and thought provoking posts, have you ever noticed that you are the ONLY ONE that brings up what people have said in past posts, have you ever gone back and looked at your own posts, have a look Baz and see how many of them say the same thing, how of your posts mention Gashlier as you eloquently put it, I dare you to look at how many times you repeat the same rubbish about our team. The thing is Baz you are a good poster without all that crap, you don’t need to do it.

Great interview with DF, Wober definitely staying and apparently knocked on his door to say I’m in on all of this and I’m staying! Aaronson staying and Gnonto does not want a move away, how much of that is true, who knows, but from a fans perspective it’s a massive thumbs up from me!
He also made positive comments regarding some more incomings as he referred it to having a couple of bits to do yet, with the after talk being about Rowe and Bueno so again a huge thumbs up from me!
As you guys know I do say what’s on my mind and I’m not backward in coming forward so, I can not find any negatives from our pre season, I think we have done well in the transfer market and it looks like there’s more to come, I’m excited about MJ and Gino working together and I honestly think DF has what it takes to learn from last season and I’m excited about his optimism and his honesty with which he has always been up front with us.
So with all that in mind please talk amongst yourselves if it’s negativity you are promoting, please take all your unfair criticism and unwanted nitpicking tell it to the dog or cat if you have one or better still your estranged partner!
Finally this is after all Leeds United and if you are not yet used to failure, crap football, and a badly run club, then you are supporting the wrong team, saying that, this is going to be one of the most exciting seasons to date, and if you can’t enjoy the way we are going under the 49ers and DF and if not owning Elland Road once again does nothing for you or if having very wealthy owners does not make you smile then nothing will ever make you happy which is why you are so undeniably lonely that you have to moan at your dog or cat and that you have to whinge to your estranged ex partner.
Take the next 50 plus games off and enjoy them, remember it could be worse you could be Baz’s best mate! ????

We could actually lose some of that atmosphere if and when we expand the stadium. Acoustics may not be as good and there will be a much higher percentage of people who go tha don't contribute in the same ways i. e. with singing etc which can also kill atmosphere. Careful what you wish for but personally I like ER as it is.

As for all the stupid posters and talking more sense than me Rambo then all I can say is it’s a pity it’s not you talking more sense then eh! Some of your posts since the Cry story came out are bloody ludicrous, nobody even really knows what the actually fees are yet, nobody knows what the 49ers have in mind and if you think for one minute that we didn’t need to change some players to progress on last seasons finish then you are deluded.
MoT nailed it, 2 years left on his contract what on earth do you think you will get for a one trick sulking pony with two years left, one good season with no international call ups who spells team with a big fat ‘I’ who showcased his talents in a weak championship league, (I mean even Baz quoted as saying “a league one team went up ahead of us” and he’s always right) and let’s not forget when did he really turn up against the more defensive sit back teams? He had a massive part to play in the one off Wembley final against Southampton, oh hang did he play that day?, I know I saw his name on the team sheet, just can’t remember him playing that day! How much did you really think he’s worth then?
Oh and for the record I’m happy for Gnonto to go as well, as long as DJ, Gino, MJ, Ampadu, Rodon, Struik, Gruev are on that team sheet with the additions of new recruits Bogle, Rothwell, and whoever else we buy in with the money then we will go up as champions. I’m not saying DF is perfect, after a very naive campaign he has lessons to learn and if he can’t he goes, simples, but I tell you all this, no promotion and players will be sold, no promotion DF on his way, if DF picks Bamford over MJ then he should be sacked straight away!, but the 49ers are no mugs and I for one am very excited about LUFC having owners as astute and financially sound as they are backing us all the way to constant success.
Like I said in an earlier post you all wanted rich owners, well these are the richest owners in our history, take a look you will no doubt say it’s made up but I assure you it isn’t, it’s in the billions, we are financially stable, we own our ground again, we own Thorp Arch, we have expansion plans for Elland Road, the 49ers have give us back what those before them stole from us, so please excuse me for not shedding any tears for the sake of Summerville, I’m looking at the much bigger picture through the biggest rose tinted glasses I could find! ????.

A lot of posters need to realise that last season we should have got promoted but we failed which means something needed changing with new players needed. It’s no shame in selling those that don’t have the heart, the 49ers are no mugs, they run a lot of businesses to the tune of billions so those that are saying it’s no better run than when Radz and co owned us, give your head a shake and shame on you!
Be grateful that you have owners that want success, if they didn’t then we wouldn’t of bought Rodon and Bogle, we would of kept selling and those of you that are stupid enough not to realise that for as long as we are not an established premiership side we will always have to sell.
Some posters on here just love blaming first and foremost the owners, well you have got that totally wrong, the manager maybe, the players yes!

Great question about pundits and all of the above are great, but there’s one stand out 100% dick head who is a arrogant, uneducated and a constant show off and that is the man himself Daniel Sturridge, watch Roy Keane’s facial expressions when he works with him. He sang a song pitch side once, he talks shite and dresses like a knobhead, he makes me cringe! Anyone agree? Only my opinion though guys ??.

Very funny Baz, I have many years of overlong tears Baz, in fact to many to dry, but what I can do is help you with finding a constant supply of dry throat medicine which you must need from constantly shouting about Ipswich last season and about how bad we are and how much our owners are cowboys and let’s not forget the DF out shouts, I would also look for some throat disinfectant from that horrible Gashlier fungus you have managed to get stuck in your mouth! ??.
