Moukoko on Leeds' radar for January.

Alfcupper

21 Oct 2025 15:03:16
apparently we are interested in signing Tel Aviv midfielder Issouf Sissokho in Jan. already in negotiations according to Transfer News Live.

Alfcupper

1.) 22 Oct 2025 05:15:43
Hope so. His stats are impressive. Need another defensive midfielder.

2.) 24 Oct 2025 09:53:32
Terrible source, not happening

And we don't need another defensive mid, already have Ampadu, Stach (who is mainly a DM through his career) , and Gruev.

3.) 25 Oct 2025 06:44:40
Oi Oi. That graham geezer is back.
It was tongue in cheek post geezer. Lighten up ?.

Hearing Farke will be gone if we don't win against Wet Spam.

Alfcupper

1.) 21 Oct 2025 11:20:31
And if he wins the easiest game this season, how many games does that buy him?

2.) 21 Oct 2025 12:01:40
So you don't reckon there will be an extra determination from Spam players then?
A shambolic defeat AND playing Leeds? Not one single game in this division is easy. Less difficult, maybe.
Assuming you get your wish Mo, who do we bring in?

3.) 21 Oct 2025 12:38:49
I see this question a lot Bright, it's not for me to decide or to choose. I don't know enough about foreign, upcoming managers that would be worth a punt outside the usual names.

All I know as a fan of Leeds is this Farke hasn't been handled right. He was paid to get us promoted and should have been given the golden handshake, paraded around on the bus like the good guy he is, then let go with all the best terms imaginable.

Keeping him, mucking up the transfer window when we knew what would happen, is the fault of the fraudyniners, and is has irreparably damaged farke's reputation, unfairly or not.

Some games are winnable though, and west ham is the one. Although, this is Leeds, so Summerville scoring a hat trick is on the cards.

4.) 21 Oct 2025 17:23:37
Fair enough Mo. All opinion that, and I can't fault the logic of it. Think Bogle will pocket "drop the shoulder, cut in" Cree tho!

5.) 21 Oct 2025 18:42:47
West Ham were truly shocking last night but you just know despite having 2 days less than us to prepare they'll play like Brazil against us so if Alf is correct in that Farke will be sacked if we don't beat West Ham I'm almost certain that will be it for DF especially as Okefor and Gnonto look like being missing so a draw at best I think and a new round of who will be the next Leeds United manager for our owners to painstakingly drag out like they did at Rangers where 3rd choice was installed. so who will be the 3rd choice new Leeds United manager?
I'm going to plump for Gary O'Neil.

6.) 22 Oct 2025 01:16:50
It is all opinion bright and I respect yours as well as everyone's. ALAW.

I'll bet you're right about Bogle, he will be knocking lumps out of Summerville, and the-footballer-formally-known-as-prince will be trying his hardest to prove a point. Leeds runs deep.

7.) 22 Oct 2025 14:35:06
He will indeed. No way Summerville lasts 90 minutes. He prob feign injury at 50.

8.) 01 Nov 2025 17:53:11
So. time to sack?

03 Sep 2025 13:59:23
Linked to Brownhill as a free transfer.

Alfcupper

1.) 03 Sep 2025 17:35:04
He's gone to saudi.

2.) 03 Sep 2025 19:46:47
Must've wanted too much wonga!

3.) 03 Sep 2025 23:22:58
Apparently rejected £100k a week as wanted more.

4.) 04 Sep 2025 03:55:42
Ridiculous how pretty much average players want and get 100k.

5.) 04 Sep 2025 07:49:43
World's gone maaaaad.

6.) 04 Sep 2025 11:36:10
What about Hakim Ziyech?

7.) 04 Sep 2025 14:08:28
32 isn’t he? A gamble. Heavy pay packet on games goals and assists. Why not.
Yanks prob know better mind. Obviously.

8.) 04 Sep 2025 15:32:37
Rumours that Mitrovic might soon become available. Allegedly the Saudi club are desperate to move him on, and are even considering terminating his contract to allow him to leave on a free.

9.) 04 Sep 2025 17:45:46
Gone to Qatar or somat like that has Mitro.

02 Sep 2025 21:44:36
Hearing a few reports that we are very close to PSR limits - to the extent that we will probably need to sell a major player before June. If this is true it makes our window even better as we managed a decent number of signings on a very limited budget. During the window one of my contacts also mentioned a few times to expect at least one key player being sold. I imagined this would be Amps or Struijk or both so we have arguably done well to keep them both. If it was Struijk it might also explain why we are not really playing our new defenders as yet as we are arguably overstocked in that area. If one or both had been sold that would have generated more income for incomings.

Alfcupper

1.) 03 Sep 2025 05:20:05
Sounds like PR guff.

Sell a major player? That's Tanaka gone then.

2.) 03 Sep 2025 08:10:10
On the contrary Mo. It sounds perfectly feasible to me. The club are not going to send such "PR guff" into the public domain when they know that ACTUAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS are going to be available to all and sundry! Now that would be a major PR balls up wouldn't it!?

3.) 03 Sep 2025 08:40:48
Sounds plausible to me also Alf, and further supports why they paid up PB and loaned Largie.

Of course as a supporter you want the club to be transparent on these issues but they will rightly counter with, if we admitted our true PSR situation then that may have impacted the signings we’ve made to date.

I still believe 49ers communications are shite at best and they clearly don’t get the importance of
maintaining transparency and trust with the supporters.

4.) 03 Sep 2025 09:11:03
Bright, they're not posting financial accounts and telling the fan base they have spent close to PSR when they potentially have money back isn't illegal.

It's PR guff because they ballsed up the end of the window.
If they were right up against PSR they wouldn't have signed JJ or bornauw ahead of another 9 when our strikers are injury prone.

5.) 03 Sep 2025 09:40:03
But that would contradict everything praag said going into the the Everton game. Every noise that they have made was to expect signings up until the final day and Farke has also been insistent.

I don't buy that at all.

Also why would they submit a loan deal for Wilson, then submit a bid, for a player that's in the last year of his deal. It all just wreaked of last minute desperation.

6.) 03 Sep 2025 12:58:50
they expected sales up to the final day also - one balances out the other.

7.) 03 Sep 2025 13:01:58
They have succeeded in making sure they stay within PSR parameters as there was a conversation with the finance people who confirmed we were “squeaky clean” obviously I don’t know how close or far away they was but it clearly was a concern based on the conversation they were having.

Would explain why they tried to loan Emi and Wilson before bidding on Wilson.

So presuming somewhere from £5million in the clear to going over if we paid £15mil for Emi.

8.) 03 Sep 2025 13:21:23
With all due respect to Alf posting about the club possibly being at their PSR limit like Bushy said I don't buy that for one second and believe it's a weak excuse to deflect from themselves effing up the window and breaking their own promise to fully back Farke in the way Norwich didn't back Farke in his previous EPL campaigns.

Also even if PSR is anywhere close to being an issue try paying your greedy selves and your greedy investors a little less. No I don't expect them to do that.

They are playing us for fools imo if they expect Leeds fans to believe anything other than it was 100% their own incompetence that has us going into the rest of the season on a wing and a prayer that our injury prone forward line can not only stay fit but also are good enough to come up with the goals required from what looks like will be a limited in EPL quality creativity supply.

9.) 03 Sep 2025 23:39:02
Couldn’t have put it better myself CW.

Lots of knee jerk reactions after the game yesterday. It was inevitable that there would be days like this in the Prem and there will be more. Just don't let the losses get you down too much and don't get carried away by the wins. Lots of football still to play and we are still on target for 1 point per game.

Alfcupper

1.) 02 Nov 2025 20:47:33
Alf, are people mad because we lost, or because of how we lost? There's a big difference.

2.) 03 Nov 2025 08:20:54
Knee jerk reaction Alf? Funny.
Poor v spam. Spanked by gunners. Lucky to play Everton pre grealisisish. Shoulda beaten Bournemouth and Fulham. Lost to Burnley. Yep Burnley. Only good display was wolves. Deserved point.

Two builders go into the pub after a hard day's work. They're sat drinking for a while when a very smartly dressed man walks in and orders a drink. The two began to speculate about what the man did for a living.
"I'll bet he's an accountant. " said the first builder.
"Looks more like a stockbroker to me. " argued the second. They continued to debate the subject for a good while until eventually the first builder needed to use the toilet. On walking in, he saw the smartly dressed man standing at a urinal.
"Excuse me mate, but me and my friend have been arguing over what a smartly dressed fella like you does for a living? " the builder said to the man.
Smiling the man replied, "I'm a logical scientist. "
"A what? " asked the builder.
"Let me explain" the man continued, "Do you have a goldfish at home? "
A bit puzzled, but intrigued the builder decided to play along, "Yes, I do as it happens. "
"Well then it's logical to assume that you either keep it in a bowl or a pond. Which is it? "
"A pond" the builder replied.
"Well then it's logical to assume that you have a large garden. " The builder nodded his agreement. So the man continued, "which means it's logical to assume you have a large house. "
"I have a 6 bedroom house that I built myself. " the builder said proudly.
"Given that you have such a large house, it's logical to assume that you are married. "
The builder nodded again, "Yes, I'm married and we have three children. "
"Then it's logical to assume that you have a healthy sex life. "
"Five nights a week! " the builder boasted.
The man smiled a little, "Therefore it's logical to assume you don't masturbate often. "
"Never! " the builder exclaimed.
"Well there you have it" the man explained, "That's logical science at work. From finding out that you have a goldfish, I've discovered the size of your garden, all about your house, your family and your sex life! "
The builder left, very impressed by the man's talents. On returning to the bar the other builder asked, "I see that smart bloke was in there, did you find out what he does? "
"Yeah, " replied the first, "He's a logical scientist. "
"A what? " the puzzled second builder asked.
"Let me explain" the first builder continued, "Do you have a goldfish at home? "
"No" replied his mate.
"Well, you're a w@nker then! "

DJ out for 6 weeks the latest so not as bad as we feared.

Alfcupper

1.) 03 Oct 2025 07:55:08
Might even be only 4, but like someone else said in a different thread, bring him back slowly, and only when 100% fit.

2.) 03 Oct 2025 08:49:03
Don’t think that will be the end of it. Think we won’t see much of him this season.

3.) 03 Oct 2025 12:33:08
He's been a bit off the pace every time he's come on this season, so needs to be brought back slowly and carefully.

25 Sep 2025 13:51:07
Bogle fit, James back training but Gnonto out.

Alfcupper

1.) 25 Sep 2025 15:05:45
Pretty sure swap ba for James and we good to go. Same 10 as before. Although James needs to step up quickly.

2.) 25 Sep 2025 16:29:14
not much you can do about an injury.

3.) 26 Sep 2025 00:02:26
Rest James and Bogle. Don't risk it.

JJ can help BA on the wing. It's going to be a magic combo and a Brenda redemption arc.

4.) 26 Sep 2025 04:30:59
I suspect both James and Bogle will be 70 min subs. James maybe 80.

5.) 26 Sep 2025 07:35:01
Definitely start Bogle, it was only a bruised foot, can always sub him later in the game if necessary.
Also need Dan James upping the anti, but agree that his inclusions should be gradual as his fitness perhaps is not quite there yet. You can’t fault Aaronson’s work rate, like Harrison but for me neither has any end product, both need to occupy the bench in my opinion.

6.) 26 Sep 2025 08:04:36
I'm with Mot on this, and wouldn't personally risk either as starters. BA can run himself into the ground for an hour and give them no time to breathe, and we can give JJ a good run out. 2 great subs then to help us nick the win.

7.) 26 Sep 2025 17:04:08
Do we need James upping the anti, the ante, or the Aunty? I feel this is important.

8.) 26 Sep 2025 22:36:29
Auntie Alf are you my new spell checker?
You can if you want, I really don’t mind.

9.) 26 Sep 2025 22:49:51
How about Justin at RB and Bogle at RW?

10.) 27 Sep 2025 10:58:35
I know you keep banging that drum JR, and I totally agree with you on it! Just maybe not for this week if Boges is just back from a knock. I think it would be exciting attack wise, and a brick wall defensively! ????.

30 Aug 2025 14:27:20
Could see a move for Lois Openda in the coming days.

Alfcupper

1.) 30 Aug 2025 15:40:59
Blinking Nora Alf what you been drinking? ??
Surely he’s outta our league?
Be nice end to the window him and Hamer on loans with obligation and sign Spertsyen.

DCL is actually doing a great job. The problem is we are not utilising him as effectively as we should/ could be as he is playing too deep and not really getting any kind of service or backup. If you don't understand why certain types of players work better with a certain type of player beside them then you really don't get the game at all, Aus.

I know you know more about footie than that so can only guess your post was designed to be inflammatory?

the term 'must-win' does get banded about too often these days. a result against Burnley in October doesn't mean we are or are not relegated, but I think people mean if we don't win a certain game it could cause serious damage to our hopes. We lost to Burnley yes but we may pick up an unexpected win elsewhere (e.

g. Citeh or Liverpool) to keep our points total on track. Its not genuinely must win until a loss of 3 points means it is mathematically impossible to stay up but I do get why that term is used even this early in the season.
