I don’t really like Scott Parker but he has won promotion twice with Bournemouth and Fulham, he is a contender as a coach.

He almost flopped promotion with Fulham the same season we went up, when they had the best team in the league by a country mile. Don't rate him at all. Atrocious at Club Brugge more recently, but seems to keep falling upwards in to decent jobs (much like Fat Frank has) . Pretty happy he's gone to Burnley as, for my money, he's not that tactically astute. Has been a benefactor of having amazing squads that have succeeded in spite of him.

He's absolutely not injury prone given he's missed 7 games total (previous 4 seasons) before this season.

Players get the odd bad injury in their careers. He had one this season and needed surgery and rehab. He's not getting injured in separate incidents consistently like Bamford does.

That’s right Baz, let’s sell our best players. He didn’t have much time out with injuries before his grade three groin injury which do take many months to recover from.

Do agree with you on that Dill, re: Parker having quality teams for those promotions and does fall forward for some strange reason, having friends in high places maybe?
Woody, Baz is stuck in the past with Revie, with a team that hugely underachieved considering their great talent. The trophy cabinet should have been full with that team Baz.

I do see it as a good thing, OP. Mainly because Kompany brought players in to fit his particular style of play, which SP doesn't play. He's got a task on his hands and I don't think he'll be up to it.
