I don't know I think almost every player has a price in this squad. If we paid around £5m for him and were offered around £10m then I would take it. We have Rodon, Struijk and probably one of Wober or Cresswell for CB, Amps will play in CDM and be cb backup, Aaronson will be involved in mid/ CAM, and I rate Gruev higher than Kamara myself. Someone or even two from Gruev, Ampadu, Kamara and Aaronson are likely to be the odd ones out on the bench given (for now) we likely accommodate three from Rutter, Summerville, Gnonto and James. I'd sell Kamara for a good profit (and only a good profit) and look to maybe use Charlie Crew as the second mid option from the bench.

Would allow more opportunities for Charlie Crew, and maybe a more offensively minded signing? Nice guy, great value signing and a good player 95% of the time, but won’t be unduly disturbed if he leaves. If he stays, then also good with that.

Gruev and Kamara aren't exactly like for like tho, so don't think it's either or. Gruev is a deep lying, ball winner who can pass fairly well and Kamara is more of a metronome, in that passes mostly go to him to get somewhere else and he plays a bit further up the pitch. Better press resistance too as he can play both ways, back to goal or pitch in front of him. But he can also disrupt play defensively. Gruev easier to replace imo. Kamara is good for shifting through the phases of play.

Not disagreeing Dill, but that’s where I think Kamara falls short, in that being further up the pitch but not getting direct assists and goals let's him down. He has been in shooting positions so many times, with clear shots at goal, and opted not to. I would prefer someone to pull the trigger when the opportunity arises. It needs to be Gruev OR Kamara, not both imo, for us to go that one step further this season. We’ve turned down big offers for Gruev, so clearly he is the one we would prefer to keep.
