Reports today that Paraag Marathe offered Farke the opportunity to bring in a new number 1 replacement for GK Illian Meslier in Jan window
Farkey turned this offer down from Marathe.
Marathe's perplexed face at end of the game in the stadium following the latest Meslier debacle vs Swansea makes one wonder just how muchhe now trust Farkes judgment.
IMO Board need to pull rank on Farkey this week and insist that Mes is dropped now . but I am not sure whether they have the bottle to do so.
BUT given this Meslier replacement offer revelation its now more and more difficult to forsee Farke being our manager next season promoted or not under Marathe and Co.

The new information that came to light in the last 48, if to be believed (! ) , does put a slightly different light on things as they stand. If it is true, then you’re right, it could be the decision that costs Farke his best and financed shot at the PL.

If that's the case, then it makes perfect sense why Farke didn't blame meslier; because doing so would be admitting his own mistake and, like farke of not, he is arrogant when it comes to his tactics/ ideas. We saw that last season with rutter/ Piroe playing out of position.

Vardy does not play to our style of football and if he was interested in joining a newly promoted team, he’d probably be better suited to Burnley.
Although he can still score goals he has lost some of his pace and I can’t see he being a starter anymore in the Premiership.
Perhaps as Bright has eluded to, he might have a season or two in the MLS?

For me Raphinha is on par with Eric Cantona as the two best modern day players to play for Leeds.
However speculation over how much Leeds Utd would receive in bonuses clauses, if those clauses even exist at all, is completely unknown. There is no factual information on these details if they exist or not.
What is factual is that if Raphinha is sold for example to Saudi (very unlikely) then Leeds Utd would receive nothing.

Agree about viduka but not sure about kwelle, talented but never quite backed it up
For me our best modern day player has to be rio, that World Cup leeds had the best defender maybe best player on the planet and not often that can be said. Gary Mac also up there for me and of course sir John lukic but it’s not fair to compare other men to a god.

Yes I don’t forget that detail Bright, it just didn’t feel right in any way, felt like he was having a big dump on the club when things were getting bad for us.
On a playing side it was said by some pro’s at the time, including Michael Ballack that he lacked consistency, that plus his injuries which I believe curbed a fair amount of his playing time at Liverpool.

I’ve never read anything offensive to any poster on this forum from Woodster in fact he’s the complete opposite.
On the other hand you Baz and your former side kick George have dealt in more than your fair share of coded insults between you both on here to a number of posters including myself.
I think the main thing about you Baz and this is not the first time it’s been pointed out, you are without any doubt and by far more than anyone else the largest contributor of posts on this forum.
You consume pretty much every thread every day with the same repetitive posts of get rid of Meslier, get rid of Farke and get rid of our current owners.

Can you not move on to another subject? it’s very evident that you can’t post anything positive about Leeds Utd, but at least try being negative about something else.

I was delighted you returned and I particularly enjoy your take on the games both home and away as often tv highlights are not an accurate reflection of the game.

Thank you lads, for all your support, I know what I am and I would never be rude to any of you, Baz though brings the worst out of all of us! I find all posters on here fantastic and this site is the best, I just don’t suffer fools easily and I’m sick to the back teeth of his duplicitous, over whelming lies about our club. I have been to 34 games this season and not once have I ever heard anyone, any supporters in the stands say the board should go, DF has lost the team and so on, Baz is worse than a bloody journalist and now his best mate has gone he has no one to back him up, which in turn makes him sound even more stupid than normal! It’s just exaggerating click bait to the extreme! I am proud of being a Leeds fan, I am proud of where we are, challenging for the promised land, nothing is easy and this league isn’t that’s for sure, do you all reckon that the blades fans wanted Wilder and the board gone after getting beat by Oxford?, but here one bad result being a draw and we are history, doom and gloom!

Good post Woody well done pal, keep cheering the boys on if your at the games coming up, I wouldn’t doubt at all that most Leeds fans at Elland rd and traveling would be 100% behind the team and Farke.
All these stories are dug up by pundits and dubious journo’s then people like Baz soak it up and spew out on forums. Right now is a good time to not listen to any of this garbage you hear, it’s only there to sensationalize and wind up us fans, and they love to wind up Leeds fans in particular.
