Reportedly LUFC ??? plan to offer Baby Shack an extension to his contract which at the moment expires in the summer.

1.) 04 Feb 2024 19:42:44
Guess they are not confident we will get promoted. He is not good enough for the Premiere League IMO. But a good Championship player.

2.) 04 Feb 2024 20:15:25
Either way, with a contract we can always sell.

3.) 07 Feb 2024 14:56:02
I think one of the reasons given was so we don't lose him on a free.

01 Feb 2024 13:08:47
Reported that loan deal ? for Connor Roberts agreed subject to medical set to take place this afternoon.

1.) 01 Feb 2024 13:28:24
Indeed Georgie

Sir Nostra Baz strikes again.

2.) 01 Feb 2024 15:25:22
See a lot below……??.

3.) 01 Feb 2024 18:42:31
Baz If recall correctly your prediction was contingent on him being the ONLY signing on deadline day meaning if we conclude a deal for Dummett (or anyone else) you will be wrong again or as you like to express 90% right. ?.

4.) 01 Feb 2024 20:29:35
Ouch…. the bedsheets are ruffling, and someone doesn’t like the wet patch?

5.) 01 Feb 2024 21:58:39
Georgey I hope Dummett signs . but at moment my prediction of yesterday is correct that LUFC would only sign Connor Roberts.

6.) 02 Feb 2024 01:15:54
Bazadamus is Bazadamus. Well ? called. Credit where it's due.

01 Feb 2024 13:03:08
LUFC ?? allegedly interested in acquisition of Paul Dummett from Toon Army. 32 year old central defender can fill in at LB, former ??????? international.

1.) 01 Feb 2024 13:19:23
Why not. Sell young cress and get an oldie in.
Transfer strategy changed from building for the future to let’s get a year or two out the old goat.

2.) 01 Feb 2024 13:29:02
Aus on a roll ?.

3.) 01 Feb 2024 13:37:45
He is a LB can play CD . out of contract in summer plus he is a boyo Welsh lad

Sign him.

4.) 01 Feb 2024 13:43:09
Antipodean Masterclass, he can deputize at LB when Junior suspended or unfit. CC can't do that.

5.) 01 Feb 2024 14:40:17
If creswell isn’t showing the right attitude then I’d rather sell.

30 Jan 2024 13:03:04
Blackburn Rovers reportedly in for LOL.

1.) 30 Jan 2024 13:23:41
Fear not Georgey

After the presumptouus release of Spence and Ayling without replacements ( still) not lined up

I guarantee ( 99.9 % recurring ) that no other 1st team squad is leaving this window. unless an unlikely load of incomings manifests in 48 hrs.

2.) 30 Jan 2024 13:51:51
If Cressy is back in the picture, and there is an incoming, I could see that coming off, personally.

3.) 30 Jan 2024 16:17:11
Feel a bit sorry for Cressy decent enough and not had a look in, could have given him a run out.

28 Jan 2024 12:40:41
Reportedly ⚫?? want Leo Hjelde.

1.) 29 Jan 2024 10:35:43
Fee agreed, so down to the medical.

2.) 29 Jan 2024 11:46:16
Reportedly deal on verge of happening with an incoming sale fee of £2M.

3.) 29 Jan 2024 13:59:33
Another one for the future that it's not worked out for. I'm sure he was meant to be the next VVD when we signed him from Celtic. Hopefully we put a some add ons and sell on fee in the transfer.

4.) 29 Jan 2024 14:21:05
Hjelde is a CB. but idiots at our club kept playing him at LB

He will be a future Norwegian international CB at some point . and be another mess up to regret.

5.) 29 Jan 2024 15:02:36
I think I agree with you on that Baz.

14 Feb 2024 13:13:59
LUFC ??? are currently the most in form team in any of the English leagues with 7 league wins on the bounce. Next best is Citeh (with 6) whom can Farke off.

1.) 14 Feb 2024 14:40:22
its a fantastic start to the calendar year. another interesting fact I saw somewhere is that Farke's teams have always performed better in the second half of a Championship season than the first half. bodes well for us if that habit continues.

14 Feb 2024 05:21:33
Berm Do us a favour tonight. Use your connections to have your boys right up for it.

12 Feb 2024 15:07:02
Tell Scourers, Citeh and Barcodes to Farke off. Asking price for Gray bros? One billion pounds each.

1.) 12 Feb 2024 16:22:21
Everything changes when we go up George. We won't be a selling club in the prem. A dynasty is being built and DF and the 49ers are the architects.

2.) 12 Feb 2024 16:38:19
Two billion each

Great news my main man DJ is fit and back in squad for Swansea.

3.) 12 Feb 2024 16:39:51
I agree!

4.) 12 Feb 2024 17:33:38
I'd still very much enjoy telling them to Farke off regardless.

5.) 12 Feb 2024 18:46:35
That's just silly Vid
Big boys come knocking our lads are off, that's just way it. is

Just say pool do come in, how could any lad resist? and don't say Kal

City are just a law into themselves, no way anyone getting in there unless a world talent

Daku is some talent b. t. w.

6.) 12 Feb 2024 20:26:49
So you think that's the way forward Chris? No ambition to keep and build a formidable team, sell and start again, if possible, which it's not, how do you reconstruct the understanding and unity when you keep changing. If we are serious about building a club who can compete we have to involve our best players. Chelsea have proved you can't buy diddly squat. The biggest advantage we have is the unity of the players and staff we have. End of. It has to be capitalised on or there is no point.

7.) 12 Feb 2024 20:44:49
I like your way of thinking, Vid. Hopefully that's what happens! ?.

8.) 12 Feb 2024 20:49:59
Cheers Dill, but also, maybe, do we not think that these players may have an ambition to win things for Leeds, with the players they enjoy playing with? Nothing is guaranteed if you move, except more dosh.

9.) 12 Feb 2024 21:58:03
Ambition is served with playing for the club most likely to achieve it.
If we are handled professionally and build and invest in our team sensibly it would still be 3 yrs before we could sneak a euro spot. Maybe a cup.
Fortunately the top 6 is now a top 5 and I can’t see that changing in the near future.
I agree with vid re player unity but am realistic enough to know some will go in summer. Up or not.
Jimmy will be gone.
Gray I think might hang around longer for regular football. He won’t want a kalv to happen to him.

10.) 12 Feb 2024 22:08:17
Sorry Vid mate but unfortunately Chris is right on this.
Even if we get promoted and say City bid 80 million for Summerville, well there’s only one outcome.
Reminds me when Liverpool sold Coutinho for 145 million. Pool couldn’t say no to the bid. But what they did after changed the club for the better. They got in Alison and Van Dyke for from that transfer fee and the rest is history.

11.) 12 Feb 2024 22:15:32
I used to think it was impossible to break into the top spots in the Premier League, but now with FFP, sustainability or whatever it’s called. If we can get Elland Road up to 55k then I think it can happen, but we have to convince our best players to stay, which is going to be difficult, as I’m afraid many of them think short term, which due to a footballers career being so short, is totally understandable. ??‍♂️.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think its understandable danum, for me its greed mate, these players earn more in a year than the normal guy in the street does in a lifetime..

12.) 12 Feb 2024 22:40:26
Sadly, it frequently comes down to money talks. The Jimmy former Feyenoord teammate social media post is probably down to an agent leaked secret. No doubt there's a few clubs readying a big wage packet for my hero. ?.

13.) 13 Feb 2024 05:18:08
Phillips was Leeds boy who said he would never leave Leeds it’s football and every one in it, is in for the money at some point if it’s right he will go, it’s not like it used to be where you stayed at a club things change.

14.) 13 Feb 2024 06:47:42
No 1 ever said that's way forward Vid!

What's being said is the reality, that is just that reality

Big boys come knocking

Young lads go walking,

It would seem strange if that surprised you,

15.) 13 Feb 2024 07:42:24
I don’t think it’s all about money that attracts players, it’s also the success, trophies and medals.
I’m sure Rice and Phillips both loved playing and being a part of their former clubs, but like anyone else, we all crave for more.
But as we’ve seen with our own Kalvin Phillips, success is not always guaranteed and that desire and lust for success can throw a players career backwards.
I have no doubt that those young talented prospects like Summerville, Rutter, Gnonto and Gray will one day leave Leeds if they continue to improve.
I just hope we can hold onto them as long as possible and they can continue to furthering Leeds Utd out of this league and up the Premiership.

16.) 13 Feb 2024 08:19:40
Whilst I tend to agree with the overall sentiments that the team will change whatever the outcome, come the end of the season, I’m not convinced the big 6 will come a calling. We are excited about our young talent, but let’s be brutally honest, cutting it up against donkey defences in the championship is one thing; doing it against world class in the EPL is another. We all know too well there is a huge gulf between the two leagues. Don’t get me wrong, I think this side is (and will be) better equipped to survive next time.

Our “best” players have all played in the EPL and largely struggled; I know they have probably improved in many cases since then, but they haven’t become world beaters. I think we need to moderate our enthusiasm and at the same time not be so fearful that the team will entirely broken up.

The biggest threat to our team is player earning power. Philips is proof that loyalty disappears when you can quadruple your pay. This will be the biggest issue to the club, convincing our players to forgo the big bucks for a while. Really talented players who know they will get the chance to earn huge eventually might stay for a while, those who aren’t will not want to miss their one and only chance. I think our players sadly fall into the latter category (as did Philips) .

17.) 13 Feb 2024 14:41:04
Archie seems to have his head screwed on, and is also being well advised by his family. It seems his main focus is on developing as a player and he will know that is best served by playing first team football. He will be quite aware he’s far more likely to get that regularly at Leeds rather than one of the big clubs. Yes, he could sign for Citeh or ‘Pool and be loaned out to get first team experience elsewhere, but doing so at whatever team, he’d just be another squad player, surrounded by teammates and staff who don’t know or particularly value/ care about him or his development.

I may be wrong, but I suspect he’d be more minded to stick with Leeds next season, even if we don’t go up. From that point it’s up to the 49ers to ensure their ambitions and actions enable our Club’s development to keep pace with Archie’s. If they do so, there’s a reasonable chance he’ll choose to remain here beyond that. His stated dream is to win trophies with Leeds - so we need to be progressing at a rate that enables him to genuinely believe that dream is achievable.

Baz You were 60% right.

1.) 10 Feb 2024 18:55:49
thought he predicted 2 1 ipswich, 5 0 leeds 2 0 Soton, so surely 0% right.

2.) 10 Feb 2024 20:00:58
Reasonable prediction accuracy
Saints won . and won by 2 goal margin . check

Leeds won. could easily have been 5.but 3 nil close
. check

Ipswich nah.

3.) 10 Feb 2024 20:38:32
Baz can’t be held to account if we can’t put the ball away when they should have,

4.) 10 Feb 2024 21:46:03
Indeed Whitey.

Baz Gonners do face a difficult April. OP is right. If we keep winning, nothing can stop us. Friday night is huge. I'd like to see Joseph start.

Baz Disagree in your "only fixtures" analysis for Gonners. They have Coventry and Hull away too. They have a tough April. What's clear though is they're probably going to be no worse than 3rd by the start of April. I see Southampton falling back to 4th by time they play Gonners.
