Southampton have some tough fixtures to come. According to the stats, here are some interesting things to consider.
Over the last 12 games, Southampton have been playing teams that have been averaging 1.14 points per game, Leeds in the same period have played teams averaging 1.41 points per game.
Presently, in the run in, Southampton play teams averaging 1.52 points per game, whilst Leeds play teams averaging 1.31 per game (Ipswich 1.26)
No doubt Southampton are playing well, but they have been playing teams in average 16th position in the League for the last 12 games; Leeds have played an average 8th position in the league over the same period.
All this is dynamic as teams come in and out of form.

It’s only you that say thrashings of 5-0 never happen in the Championship Baz! I’ve only stated they are rare, which they are. If my memory serves me right the last time we last won 5 nil was nearly 4 years ago against Stoke with Bielsa.
Leicester may very well win the league but I might be only one place out with my forecast, rather than your ever changing predictions as the season progresses.
12th, 6th and now 4th I’m certain that will change to 2nd as the season ends ??.
