Couldn't agree more Mighty - that central defensive partnership of Rodon and Ampadu has been the rock around which we've built our success since Christmas.
Still, we move on. Tough round of games for all the contenders on Monday. Could be an enormously telling day.

Firpo was still playing 36 hours ago on the other side of the world, that’s why Cooper played. Cooper played ok given it was his first game for months.
The whole Welsh contingent were awful in the first half, particularly Ampadu. James was anonymous (all understandable given the week / disappointment they have had) but hey let’s blame Cooper for everything.
Not one player was anywhere the requisite level in the first half.
As for Gray in Midfield being the simple solution; well it wasn’t and being brutally honest this was about his worst game of the season. Kamara was poor tonight also, and the midfield pairings, even after the substitutions were well off it. Firpo made the difference in my opinion. He is a better partner for Summerville and once paired up, they utterly owned that side of the pitch.
I’m happy with the point; this was going to be a difficult game for us and it proved to be. We have slipped up so many times at Easter.

Baz Farke didn't heed your warning but Woody posted about it beforehand also. His selection for Monday night will be interesting. I'd like to see Gray come into midfield with one of Byram, Roberts or Baby slotting i'm at RB. Kamara and Gray with Amps a regular joiner from central defence is the way to go in my opinion (while Gruev is out injured) . Also, Joseph needs to be brought on earlier in the second half if he isn't going to start.

Think it waa Cork who a few days ago suggested the Leeds squad was strong.
