TC didn’t get a fair crack of the whip, and did have some awful players to work with at the time. But I’d sack him another ten times to make sure we got Marcelo, who I would have back at the club tomorrow. Alternatively, if he can win the Copa, perhaps he can leave Uruguay, and take over for England, and utilise all of the attacking players we have, properly!?

Back to the subject, Farke rates Meslier very highly and has praised him on several occasions last season.
I don’t think it’s the same sentiment with the coaching staff to replace Meslier. Bielsa appeared to be happy with his presence between the sticks also.
I do agree that he does need better quality back up to keep Mez focused and in the event of a long term injury to him, Darlow is not an adequate replacement but Klaesson may have what it takes for back up?

As for Leeds zero goals and zero creativity midfield of Gray, Ampadu, Gruev and Kamara.
Our midfield vitally needs creative goal scoring reinforcements.
And not bothered if both underwhelming Gruev and Kamara are off loaded . not a scooby doo fu man chu that midfield gets Leeds United promoted!
Midfield needs addressing first and foremost. followed by GK, defence and CF.

Ampadu has never been a poor player, Leroy ?♂️ always technically sound, but given Chelsea's vast and repetitive mismanagement of young players, he was never going to get a chance there. Has always shown his ability while on loan, barring his Leipzig stint, where he didn't really get much game time. Everywhere else he was a regular starter and often one of the clubs better performers.

Aus, I personally think Trafford was their star player.
He made a couple of goal saving saves and his experience made Joseph's legs turn to jelly during the early 1 v 1, resulting in the scuffed shot
Had Trafford not made those saves, the posts on here would be positive one's celebrating a home win.
