Following on from the signings of DCL and Okafor, our next signing will be a new physio.
19 Dec 2024 12:32:38
Taken from the BBC Football gossip page. Personally I'd agree with Farke, worth keeping Paddy until the end of the season unless he wants to leave then let him go.
Leeds forward Patrick Bamford, 31, is attracting interest from Serie A club Genoa and League One side Wrexham, but the Englishman is unlikely to leave in January with manager Daniel Farke wanting attacking depth for a promotion push.
1.) 19 Dec 2024 14:00:18
Leeds are looking at cleaning house to bring in some fresh talent seems as we're so close to, at least, automatic promotion.
2.) 19 Dec 2024 14:32:31
Attacking depth?
PB zero goals zero assists this season
So no incoming CF signing in Jan then?
3.) 20 Dec 2024 09:43:04
Wow. Amazing stats you’ve plucked there Baz. 90mins in the cup, 192 minutes total this season, the longest league appearance of which was 25mins. All of the initial appearances on return from injury. I suppose the MAX contributions under those circumstances that could be expected is one or maybe two……
Utterly pointless observation.
4.) 20 Dec 2024 10:57:11
Hmm so Brighteth would you like a new CF in Jan window or not?
Because PB is no longer even 25% of the PB of 20/ 21 . injuries, loss of confidence, regression,
He is done fella and ain't attacking depth . however many mins he plays
Get real.
5.) 20 Dec 2024 17:35:44
Real is entirely what my comment was regarding your post. That’s real.
Of course we need a new striker, and I’ve written as much on enough occasions. (Enough being 2 or 3, not your own preferred umpteen…)
As someone else said in a separate thread, BamBam is the only big name I would be allowing to leave in Jan if an opportunity arises for him to move on. Better for us, and better for him, and he would leave with Thanks from most fans.
6.) 20 Dec 2024 18:10:29
Yep agreed Bright ; a fair post from yer; refreshing.
7.) 21 Dec 2024 12:37:45
Very gracious of you! ??.
8.) 26 Dec 2024 09:22:54
Oh Koch you gone and done it now Aus will be on his war path with that post.
04 Jun 2024 16:30:02
Gruev to Dortmund? £30m rumoured? Prem teams sniffing around? Bite their hands off, we'll have gray and amps back in midfield next season. Gruev did superb after Xmas on the run, thanks for the memories.
Just hope it doesn't mean we're getting Kalvin back.
1.) 04 Jun 2024 20:49:02
Where you hear £30m, mate? Haven't read a number in any of the articles I've read. And if £30m I'd drive him to LBA myself ?.
2.) 04 Jun 2024 21:16:31
The oracle that is Facebook Dil, must be true.
3.) 05 Jun 2024 07:13:42
Club are asking for 15-20m to consider selling him. Even at 20m, I would expect there to be add ons; still young, still a lot of potential there to go on to bugger and better things, based on his break through form, not when he was told to slow things down.
4.) 05 Jun 2024 11:21:37
Bugger!?!? Pmsl! ???.
5.) 06 Jun 2024 00:54:25
Not sure about letting him go. Was very good for a while. Has got heaps of potential and as you say bright still young. Would have to be 20 plus. Could get decent enough replacement for 20.
6.) 09 Jun 2024 11:41:34
Gruev is solid in midfield, plays smart, fast football, is accurate with passes, even those at angles Jimmy White would wince at, and is often a solid wall stopping their attackers.
Kamara on the other hand.

A question that popped up in my local LU committee meeting on Saturday night in my local fiine ale house. Have we recieved all the money from Barcelona for Rapha? Have they managed to pull their 574th financial lever yet?
1.) 23 Jan 2024 13:34:11
Doubt it Koch.
That’s why we are in such dire ffp territory and have no money to buy and are looking for loans. At the right price of course.
11 Jul 2023 22:31:42
Rumours are saying we won't be signing Mr Edwards this year, missed out on what could've been a bargain £35k for a young hungry 17 year old.
1.) 11 Jul 2023 22:40:54
ILK ?. I remember Keith. What a finisher. At least the Beeb has an accurate acronym.

For those of you on here that aren't from the British Isles, when and why did you choose to support Leeds?
I'm from Leeds so a no brainer, plus my old man would've put me up for adoption.
1.) 27 Sep 2025 12:42:59
I’m from south London. Place called canvey island. I was born in 62 so by the time I watched football. We were the bees knees.
2.) 27 Sep 2025 14:48:44
As most know born in bermondsey but followed step dads team is 88, never been surrounded by leeds fans (why I love this site) and in general I’ve support an average to poor team but leeds is in my blood and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Despite the taunts and sometimes voilence aimed at me, I’d rather lose as leeds than win as a big or ‘good team’.
23 Sep 2025 22:52:40
Am I the only one that thought DCLs header on Saturday was class? Went exactly where he wanted it to, way out of reach of their GK. Hope there's plenty more here that came from.
1.) 23 Sep 2025 23:47:05
It was class and both old school and new prem (headers crosses and big lumps coming back into fashion)
Reminded me of the hood old days of dorigo to champ man and not seen goals like that since Chris wood.
Refreshing and great way to score goals and create easier chances.
2.) 23 Sep 2025 23:58:36
He did well to get a good head on it and gk had no chance.
3.) 24 Sep 2025 06:39:13
Excellent header and should remind our fans what he is capable of instead of only focusing on his injuries etc.
The clubs medical staff believe if his training regime and game time is managed correctly, he can avoid muscle injuries. In my estimation I feel that DCL could arrive to his potential best at our club, let’s all hope he does.
4.) 24 Sep 2025 09:37:48
Superbly placed header, a great movement for it too!
And to add to OPs points, let's not forget that he turned down approaches from Man U and Newcastle, among many others, to join us, so we have a top player who also WANTS to be here!
5.) 24 Sep 2025 10:29:10
Think he wants to play and prove himself which would have been unlikely at manc or Newcastle. Let’s hope he succeeds.
6.) 24 Sep 2025 12:11:51
If true it’s amazing that we had a player who presumably took less money on the hope of getting more game time. Could have easily took the more money option and sat on the bench at either of them clubs.
7.) 24 Sep 2025 14:59:20
Great header. Heading is one of DCLs strengths. I think he is experienced enough to understand what a chance he has here to leave a legacy and be No1 striker.
8.) 24 Sep 2025 15:54:20
Great old centre forward type of headed goal. Great cross and superb header.
Football is all about confidence, especially forward players. Now DCL is off the mark, it hopefully gives him the confidence boost and belief he’s going to get another goal against Bournemouth. Football shouldn’t be complicated. In the modern game there’s not too many players that’s good in the air nowadays, so get the early crosses into the box for him, and he will cause plenty of problems for the opposition.
9.) 24 Sep 2025 20:06:18
Cheers guys, thought it was just me. His overall play is improving with more minutes on the pitch.
10.) 24 Sep 2025 21:04:52
Indeed Koch. I thought he also led the line brilliantly, and did not give their guys at the back a moments peace. Hopefully he can really push on from here for us.
11.) 25 Sep 2025 09:21:27
Think he needs to score a goal against a team of significance as Wolves don’t count and the header was a bit flukey.
12.) 25 Sep 2025 11:00:31
???.
13.) 25 Sep 2025 15:09:12
Only bazopti would post that. Trying to attract attention. Not smart. Not funny. Just childish. Just like Baz. Zzzzzzz.
20 Sep 2025 23:36:39
My son told me a great stat this evening. We are now 5 points behind Southampton's total from last season ?.
1.) 21 Sep 2025 02:19:23
Love it.
2.) 21 Sep 2025 09:09:49
?????????.
3.) 21 Sep 2025 10:26:54
Hopefully after a Spurts we are one in front!
4.) 21 Sep 2025 11:14:55
True, but we're also 18 points behind where Leicester finished in 18th place, and 31 points behind where Spuds finished in 17th, so still a long way to go., ⚽️?.
5.) 21 Sep 2025 12:17:23
I feel really inflated and enthused after you just urinated on ILKs fire JR. don't tell me, you're a realist!
6.) 21 Sep 2025 14:48:55
Guilty as charged. ?.
7.) 21 Sep 2025 18:29:45
Thanks JR for peeing on my bonfire ?.
8.) 21 Sep 2025 18:39:36
Sorry ?.
9.) 21 Sep 2025 21:03:59
?? only kidding.
11 Sep 2025 14:08:01
Looks like Josh Brownhill is retiring from football!
1.) 11 Sep 2025 17:31:49
Proper kop out at only 29.
04 Sep 2025 21:10:45
Just recovering after a while out of action due to an op.
Like to say my bit on Paddy leaving, will always be welcome back at Leeds as a hero of the el loco era. Paid us back many times over for his wages and transfer fee by banging in the goals in the promotion season and also 1st year in the premiership when we finished 9th.
Best of luck with whatever the future holds.
Do do do, Wilder is a.!
{Ed007's Note - Hopefully you're on the mend mate ?
1.) 04 Sep 2025 22:40:09
Get well soon ILK.
2.) 04 Sep 2025 23:30:19
Speedy recovery ILK.
3.) 04 Sep 2025 23:49:29
Cheers guys, had the op during the international break so not to miss too many games.
4.) 05 Sep 2025 06:48:22
I hope the rectal surgery went well and you can quickly return to loving Koch.
5.) 05 Sep 2025 08:07:06
Lol Mo! I echo the best wishes Koch! Just ram a jampon in it fella! ???.
6.) 05 Sep 2025 12:10:38
Glad to hear you're on the mend ILK:)
7.) 05 Sep 2025 12:16:08
MOT, ???
How's your anal prolapse these days? ?.
8.) 05 Sep 2025 19:30:31
Speedy recovery mate.
04 Jun 2024 21:16:31
The oracle that is Facebook Dil, must be true.
07 Dec 2023 16:26:39
Don't think he'll want to be playing in League 1 or 2 next season.
05 Oct 2025 20:08:05
Ani, I'd prefer Harrison over BA. Those dozen minutes he was on left wing until Noah went off, him and Bogle looked more of a threat down the right than the whole game.
04 Oct 2025 19:09:58
Can't argue with anything above Hess. Excellent post.
01 Oct 2025 19:21:23
Do do do, Wilder is a .
28 Sep 2025 13:44:05

Aussie, 3 GKs sensible and for the avoidance of doubt I am a serious wind up! I'll come out next year if you want and I'll take you n trump with me ?.
