Blimey Charlie, Kamara has finally signed a 4 year deal. It’s been a busy day.
Maybe another addition tomorrow, hopefully a LB, but that seems unlikely, but let’s see.
I think as a whole, this has been the most productive transfer window I can remember for some time.
If we can keep Sini, Willy and Jimmy and maybe add another forward, I think we’ve got a right squad! Feeling far happier than a few weeks back.

Reports this morning are that Leeds are prepared to let Joffy go out on loan for the rest of the season.
I know he hasn’t had much of an impact this season and will be great for him to get games and goals, but hopefully shows that there is another striker due in Jan? Here’s hoping so!

A loan at the start of the season would’ve been the best thing, had we landed the right striker then. He needs a full season of regular football to help him fulfill his talent. I’m sure time away would see us getting back a much stronger and capable player. He does have it in him imo.

Awful goal, why is Gruev on the pitch, sucks every ounce of momentum out of every move, Tanaka having a Western, we are just getting overrun in the second half (that we should be 2-0) !
This is where they show their metal or their vulnerability. Not happy with the way this game has gone at all.

Agree that Gruev shouldn't start. Outmuscled in the second half. Scrappy and good pressing by Pompey. Just the sort of game they want and we don't like.

The comic book, the Daily Mail reporting the oxygen thief Angus Kinnear is leaving Leeds to join Everton, but not until the end of the season unfortunately.
Still, at least he is going and can be a snake somewhere else.
Maybe he will sanction the purchase of Harrison for £35m!

I always want to win, but I don’t think I’ve been less arsed about losing.

Some good football, but a frustrating first half. Had so many great positions, only for the final pass (usually from Aaronson) to be over hit.
MJ has been given another chance, and again, poor choices. Runs the channels into the same space as the wingers and when in the box, starts his runs too close to the front stick all the time, so when he runs the diagonal, it’s almost impossible to angle the shot goal bound, if he manages to get in front of the defender, which isn’t often enough.
Switch Piroe for MJ at half time and if still struggling after 55 minutes, bring on DJ and Manor for BA and Largie, don’t wait till 70+ mins to make a change.

Managed to bag tickets for today and like Alf said, the atmosphere, that has been nervous and quieter a lot this season was epic. Very loud, on par with the noise created when we beat Norwich in the playoffs last season, but the noise when news that Plymouth scored a second was unbelievable.
What a day, very happy indeed.
Am I right in thinking that if we win the next game and the Blunts lose, without goal difference, we are up?

Thought Bam Bam was the coolest head on the pitch in the last 10 minutes. Held the ball, made the runs and drew the fouls to run the clock down.
Really hope for him (and us) , he has a strong finish to the season and contributes to success.

I’d be happy with that Baz. Not sure about 49’s and Marathe, he’s told too many ? pies and I don’t believe him anymore. RB are driven to win, not make money (although I am sure it’s still important)
