Two random questions for others thoughts.
1. Didn't see it but apparently Bayern Munich were denied an equaliser through linesman and referee who both admitted an error. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy Madrid won. I mentioned before about this. Given the amount of money in the game and players ambition, isn't it about time decisions can be reviewed and altered after final whistle? Say within 30 minutes? Too much at stake these days. Especially in any cup or play off game.
2. I got to admit I hate fans singing Leeds are falling apart. I see nothing amusing about us struggling during a game and am def not in the mood to sing when it's happening. Call it humour if you like but I don't see anything funny about it. Annoys me immensely and now other teams are using it to ridicule us. Wish they would stop singing it. Don't you?

1. anytime Bayern suffers from refereeing is to be applauded.
2.agree. I hate that song . and Leeds fans singing it is embarrassing and dumb.

For what it's worth, I wanted Bayern to win [since, sadly, both teams can't lose! ]; I despise the idea that Real who would be £B's in debt if they weren't state sponsored "win" all these European cups; greatest club team in history blah blah.
Whilst the mistake was to raise the flag early, and as it transpired they weren't offside, it doesn't follow that Bayern would have gone on to score; Real completely stopped playing and the goalie made no attempt to stop the shot.
On the night, Real deserved the win; let's hope that Dortmund win the final.

I think it would be a bit harsh to punish a linesman for an error, when players who earn 40 to 100 x what they earn per match make many more mistakes per game. An EPL assistant ref earns £850 a match; top EPL players are earning £2500 per minute of typical playing time [excluding bonuses].
