Harrison stating he is very happy at Everton and is I imagine, hoping to be bought by Everton this summer.
Sadly for Harrison they might not be able to afford him when they arrive in the Championship.
Don’t want him back at Leeds either.

Agree9 Disagree0

05 Feb 2024 08:42:23
Think he gives 100 for any club he plays for but wouldn’t be a starter at Leeds so prob better off staying there. Ok for him to come back for strength in depth though.

05 Feb 2024 08:46:08
Absolutely OP, that goes for every one of the rat pack, Coops said it all. They are neither wanted nor needed and indeed DF has stated he only wants players totally committed to the group and club.

05 Feb 2024 09:22:27
I seriously don’t understand the sickly love in for a player who is still contracted to Leeds but prefers another club and it’s fans.
If he loved playing for Leeds he would have stayed to help get us back to the Premiership.
Don’t want any player like him back at our club.

05 Feb 2024 10:18:03
Spot on OP, can't argue with that sentiment. In the past plenty of good players at other clubs have stayed to help get their club back up. I know the stupid relegation clause in most of the players contracts didn't help but many where happy to jump ship.
Personally they can all be sold.

05 Feb 2024 10:43:32
I have no hate for Harrison, unlike a lot of the players who upped and left, he had actually been here and contributed a lot - helped us get promoted, and his hattrick against West Ham and goal vs. Brentford helped us stay up two years ago - not quickly forgotten in my book. Compared to Koch and Llorente who had one good year or six months respectively, Aaronson who had one good game (Chelsea) , Kristensen who never seemed to have a good game, Adams who was good for about 15 games before getting hurt and then running to Bournemouth.

Jack's problem was he could be very very good but streaky - if he wasn't in the game he wasn't in it at all - no middle ground and more the latter than the former. If he came back I wouldn't mind it (if he does it means Everton went down) .

Sinisterra is the harder one to absolve - pushed for his exit, sounds like there might have been legal issues if he wasn't allowed. Then again Sinisterra quite obviously has a higher ceiling than Harrison - if he can stay healthy, think not being an immediate starter for Bournemouth probably helped him stay healthy.

If we go up and Bournemouth clearly want him we should be doubling our money on him. I read talk that they wanted to do a deal in Jan for him to mitigate our potential promotion which would invalidate a clause letting him join them in the event we don't get promoted.

05 Feb 2024 10:46:19
You all know what Jack Harrison could do!

05 Feb 2024 11:17:03
Exactly Hooksie! ✊???.

05 Feb 2024 11:24:36
Ealing makes some decent points about JH and his lengthy contributions.

Why so much ( repetitive) bitterness and hate on here for JH ( who haa been very good for LUFC for 5 years)

As ever hypocrisy laughably reigns supreme from a few on this site on this issue.

Yet another rinse and repeat hateful post for JH.

yet WG ( who unlike JH has been here for only a year and therefore contributed much, much, much less fo LUFC )

would have done EXACTLY the same as JH had he a relegation loan clause, and still couldn't wait to get out still tried to force himself out of club going on strike, transfer request, then sulking and not putting in 100% effort, application, desire . etc etc

yet he gets no such hate indeed quite the contrary on this forum.

#hypocrisy.

05 Feb 2024 11:55:59
I don’t hate Harrison I’m no some over emotional little girl but as a football fan I expect loyalty, passion and hard work from the players contracted to their club, if you don’t want to play for the football club I love then leave and don’t come back.
Also how do you know he didn’t force a leave?
I don’t want any of those loan clause players back at the club, they must be sold and we move on.
I will be astounded if any of them return and play.

05 Feb 2024 12:20:37
A tad ott there Baz, Willy stayed, apologised, faced the music, sat out games and turned himself around. His and the other players reaction to his goal showed how committed he is and how big a part of the group he is.

05 Feb 2024 12:27:26
OP ' I expect loyalty, passion. if you don't want to play for the club I love then leave. ',
Yet . pre and
in Jan window in several of your posts you were advocating that Leeds United must keep WG, ??

Double standards. Com.

05 Feb 2024 12:35:45
It’s your opinion Baz and one I whole heartedly do not share.

05 Feb 2024 12:35:56
Vid you miss the point entirely I have no issue with WG staying likewise JH if he comes back next season.

05 Feb 2024 12:46:43
Lol in other words OP you have no rational logical explanation for your double standards

thought so.

05 Feb 2024 13:00:44
Not double standards at all Baz if you read between the lines. Gnonto let’s not forget is still a teenager who was more than likely ill advised by his agent at the time. However Gnonto still probably had to walk the gauntlet with his fellow team mates, club and fans.
It looks very clear to me that he is now part of the family and judging by his celebrations after his vital goal against Bristol, the fans are warming to to him again.
Harrison on the other hand and the other loan clause players forced their moves with success for their own personal gains and I suspect that was mainly about money .

05 Feb 2024 13:11:38
Can't remember saying I hate Harrison, just that as he preferred to move on to Everton then like the others that choose to leave, let him be sold. For what it is worth OP, I as a whole find most of your post pretty much very balanced.

Baz not sure what your issue seems to be with some posters and any of their opinions, but it seems more and more you love the sound of your own posts. You are quick to jump on any poster that has a different view from yourself. Double standards . com, pot calling kettle. com

I said last week one of two on this site are killing it as a Leeds United banter site, and understandable why so many of the older characters had stopped posting.

05 Feb 2024 13:12:43
Sorry fells still reeks of double standards . and Gnonto is not a child but an adult nearly 20 more than old enough to know what he is doing.

05 Feb 2024 13:20:26
Harrison proved his worth. Worked his socks off for Leeds for years. He can stay.
Gnonto didn’t. Acted like a baby. Is a crap player. Scores one goal. Whoopedeti.
The rest of the foreigners can opti off.
Rather Harrison. Than Willy everyday of the year.
In my eyes he is the only one I’d welcome back.

05 Feb 2024 13:50:04
Aus mate, think you been sunning yourself by the billabong too long. Yes Jack gave years of service but streaky often and was slated many times. But length of service bears no relation to being entitled to betrayal. Ultimately he walked, did not commit and fight. Willy is a whole different situation. He made a mistake, an error of judgement, but faced up to that and got on with it and is very far from a crap player. He is a part of our future as are all our muskateers. Coops could have left for big money in Saudi, didn't even though he knew on the pitch he would be bit part. Willy has now shown that commitment too. Be very cateful for what you wish for.

05 Feb 2024 14:15:09
Excellent Post Mezz, too often people’s opinions are skewed into personal comments, perceived historical allegiance's about the specific poster.

Posts are meant to drive debate, and share differing views on subjects that we can all then debate and share our ow reasons for our specific views.

I’ve detailed on here previously that Chris Chris helped me to reconsider Mr Orta and my opinion shifted 180 degrees as a result. And I nominated CC for in my top three POTY nominations for that very reason.

For OP in particular, there appears a premeditated bias by some to criticise what OP has previously stated, posted, rather than what each specific post is saying, which is exactly why we lost a much valued and refreshing poster in Woody.

OP has broad shoulders and certainly doesn’t need me to speak up for him, but Mezz makes a great point, why can’t the debate just be would we want JH back yes or no? Of course adding our reasons like Aus did?

For my own part, with anyone who leaves the best Team in the world (irrespective if it’s their livelihood) , it feels really easy, if they don’t want us, then I don’t want them.

05 Feb 2024 14:16:54
That’s your opinion as well Aus, one that I definitely will not share. I don’t expect any die hard JH lovers to share my opinion either, just don’t dis my post like I’m talking crap all the time! It’s only my opinion.

05 Feb 2024 14:41:49
In interviews like that what else can a player say? Take it with a pinch of salt.

05 Feb 2024 14:59:49
Let’s get this right, I’ve got no issues with Harrison during his time at the club, a good player no more than that. Where I have an issue with him and the other loan clause players is that they all left on mass like rats jumping from a sinking ship, which really if you didn’t now for some unknown reason, seriously destabilized the club. I can’t even imagine what Farke realized he had signed up for.
Harrison should have known better as he had been at the club the longest what that would of meant.

There’s no prizes for guessing why we had such a unstable start to the season and that ultimately affected our results which partly is the reason why we are not top of the league right now.
So forgive me if Harrison isn’t exactly the flavour of the month in my estimation.

05 Feb 2024 15:57:38
Completely agree with you OP!
I was a huge fan of JH and he was a great servant to Leeds, but he isn’t serving Leeds anymore.
At the start of the season, I wanted WG out of the door for pushing for a move, but he didn’t, and now is fully committed to Leeds, so I am glad to have him here.
The difference imo between Harrison and Gnonto is that both pushed for a move at the start of the season, one went, the other didn’t, and in February, one is fully committed and wants to be at Leeds, the other doesn’t. That speaks volumes to me and would be happy if we could have sold all of the ones that left on loan.

05 Feb 2024 17:10:56
I certainly do NOT hate JH, so that is a very strong word used out of context, with no accuracy at all! So to then label half of the site as “hypocrites” on the back of that is hugely off target! Like Billy Paynter level off target!

05 Feb 2024 18:04:01
Brighty . noone stated ' half the site ' . (which would equate to about 20 plus posters) .

the words used were ' a few " . so maybe 2 or 3 but specifically OP with his multiple anti JH posts over the post months.

05 Feb 2024 19:12:51
Baz it’s a sensitive subject and one I personally feel strongly about. If you don’t agree that’s fine, I can assure you I’m not on a anti JH crusade, that kind of nonsense is typical one that you like to attach on me.

You talk of hypocrisy from me when you are the stand out hypocrite on this Leeds forum, always tearing into our coach, owners and several players when results perhaps don’t agree with your expectations yet when we are on a run of results like now, all is good a Leeds Utd.
Wear your convictions instead of forever changing them like your so called predictions.

05 Feb 2024 20:31:25
OP . I am an ardent supporter of 100% effort players who contribute (d) regularly to Leeds United . Pablo a recent prime example, DJ another. JH is another .

Top scorer JH ( excluding pens) along with Raph were the main reasons Leeds stayed up in 2021/ 22 . some supporters have very short memories, you OP perhaps his biggest lambaster woth post after posr . most unfair.

Is it also perhaps because he is playing for your nemesis Everton? ?

As for mg justified criticism sure I have been rightly critical of some players ( those that contributed to our R last season, including particularly your bizarre fave Meslier who was hopeless , coaches Brenty Marsch ( as did you even more OP) and Orta ( who you were proved wrong again not to )

I am pretty consistent in my opinions, but one is allowed to revise them at times. Things can change.

Anyways.

05 Feb 2024 20:48:19
OP, ??? . Glad some of the more level headed LEEDS fans on this site can see it for what it is.

05 Feb 2024 22:54:16
Mezzer luv the CAPITALS. you "REAL LEEDS" fan you! ? . bless.

06 Feb 2024 00:20:04
Jack on the beach ⛱️ Harrison ever since he signed his contract extension. Bag £25M and move on. Baz upset because he's a goal scorer. That he is but also a deserter.

06 Feb 2024 05:53:54
Look at he the posters above, Baz. They are the most frequent posters on here, all stating that Jh should not return, not showing hate. But we are all hypocrites. I would hazard a guess that on a weighted average basis, we represent half of the posts on this site.

06 Feb 2024 06:57:10
Oh I'm so wounded! Baz this is a LEEDS banter site, hopefully where like minded fans can discuss all things LEEDS. But if you want to make it about personal digs at fellow posters because your point of view is so much more meaningful then you can have your platform, enjoy!

06 Feb 2024 08:27:18
Just a quick one Baz, not sure I have have favoured Messlier? I may have praised some good performances in the past, but I think he is one player I don’t really comment on, has some great games and has some shocking moments? #confused.

06 Feb 2024 08:47:22
Not quite all bright but close.

06 Feb 2024 10:36:56
MG that was my typo . meant to type ' my' . not ' mg' .

Brighty. the hypocrisy was specifically OP's differing double standards towards LUFC legend JH and flg by night wee Willy . No one else re hypocrisy . keep up Brighty

What Aus said. in any event I was referring specifically to OP re hypocrisy

Cheers Mezz love you too ??.

06 Feb 2024 12:20:42
Jack Harrison a Leeds Utd legend?
Christ you do live in your very own bubble Baz.

06 Feb 2024 13:06:19
Bingo ? that one was especially for you triggered OP to get all huffy over . .

In all seriousness, as I said a few weeks back, imo Pablo Hernandez is the LUFC LEGEND of recent times.
