My opinion is maybe time to move Gnonto on and use the money to bolster the squad
I think the Stoke game was a wake up call that we can't really afford injuries and not starting with Jimmy or James for example we look short .

Not sure though Mighty that there will now be any club is interested in buying Gnonto for the fee that Mr Marathe would want ; certainly not the cash challenged Italian clubs.
Personally I really miss Jack Harrison. another assist for Everton ( who definitely aren't going down Aus and OP) .
Jack Harrison in our team / squad would have Leeds on at least another 6 points .

Dosent look like it baz unfortunately. Bottom 4 are dire. Even a points deduction prob won’t relegate them.
I would play Harrison over gnonto all day long.

I like Harrison but he’s part of the group that didn’t want to stay and play in getting us back so not really sure I would like him to return any time soon we should look else where move on .

Much will depend on when the deduction takes place in my opinion. General consensus is they are up for 12 points minimum, possibly 15 That would put them bottom and possibly 9 points from safety. That would be a big blow to start the second half of the season, especially with likely other sanctions on transfers etc. I agree the bottom three are poor, but they are beginning to find their feet and will improve. We can only hope!

You don’t know that Baz, they still may have 12 points deducted, or one or two key player injuries, they are still crawling along a razor blade in my opinion.
Selling Gnonto in January makes no sense as we would have to buy another winger to replace him.
Better to sell him if he wants out if and when we are back in the Premiership.
Or maybe Jack Harrison might have won zero points for us right now, he’s not playing for Leeds Utd anymore and doesn’t want to otherwise he’d still be with us.
Stop dreaming about a player who doesn’t want to play for our club anymore.
We don’t need him.

In regards Harrison, is it a loan and the fee has been agreed?, or if we go up and DF wants him next season can we jog Everton off?, imo i would have him back next season if he wants to, a lot will depend on being a prem team and how the 49ers invest?

I would definitely part with Gnoto in January, if the fee is acceptable. He is contributing nothing and doesn't look like doing so.

Gnonto is worth peanuts in the Championship, if we get promoted his value will rise considerably.
He could still have a future with Leeds Utd, it’s entirely up to him, he definitely has the talent, just needs to prove it.

I agree with op . Gnonto still has a part to play this season cree and dj will need a break at some point.
Leeds do not want to be selling any first team players in my opinion till we know what league we are in at the end of the season. 2-3loans are what they will look for in Jan.
If we have bad luck in a game like Tottenham had the other night loosing three players at once. Anywhere on the pitch the squad is very thin to replace them.

OP . Every season JH delivers great stats. there is no way that if he had stayed Leeds United would be much stronger and have more goals, assists and points .
He is far better than our sub wingers in every aspect of play.

Baz there were plenty of games where Harrison charged down blind ally’s and couldn’t give an assist for love nor money. He has improved because he has worked very hard, I’ll give him that. Gnonto has gone wayside recently and we don’t know if he wants to leave or not?
My belief is that Gnonto is way better than JH and will improve but the question will be, will it be Leeds?
JH certainly made that decision that he doesn’t want his future with Leeds.

Facts are over past 3 seasons JH stats, unquestionably make him Leeds United most productive player in goals/ assists

JH was our most consistent player last year in my opinion. Always trying to get us going and even dropping into the midfield to start moves.
I know that he had his problems with confidence and or mental health side maybe a loan move with less expectations has helped him.
I think he has been a good servant to leeds so I don't mind what his next move is.
Gnonto has much more natural talent than jh but he needs to find the drive and determination jh has got.
