Let’s be honest he’s got a terrific work ethic but he’s not the standard of left back or winger that we need if we are to push up the league. He’s likely to get a massive payout from a Turkish club and that makes sense given his native Macedonia is only separated from turkey by Greece and Bulgaria and he is approaching 30. I wish him all the best with his personal career, but if he does sign for g******** I will rejoice whenever anything bad happens to the club he plays for.

I think he would fit in and let ao play higher. And he is useful in both boxes. He might be able to score from a corner!

He's not played a lot this past year so we really do need to make sure he's got the legs still. Positives are that without our midfield stars we did excellent. We played well and kept the press on and defended better than we have defended in a long, long time.
Every player shone again. BA is getting tired and hopefully can recover during the break. He has played almost every minute since coming back and has played his heart out.
Joseph looked a little bit deflated though. I hope he has a good few games for Spain and comes back a new man.
Overall, very mad at meslier, but the team were fantastic. If we keep playing like that, we will be top, comfortably, in no time.
P. S. Sunderland are the best in the league to date and only got a DRAW through human error while four of our players were injured. That's a big positive.

Its not that he's injured now, Topman, it's the fact that he's had chronic and acute injures since 18/ 19 season that have seen him miss 84 games and 700 days of football. Most of those coming in the last two seasons.
He's injury prone. He's missed almost twice as many games as Bamford has in that time period.

He could tbf, George. It's just a massive risk trying to mitigate his injuries all season. We're going to be paying a loan fee and a hefty portion of his wages (heard more than 50%, so somewhere between 35-40k a week) which will mean that money isn't available for someone else once it's allocated. If he gets injured again it's been a massive waste of time and money that could've been better spent elsewhere.
Just hope it's the right decision. His saving grace is that he is a cracking player when fit so hopefully we get that and not the player of the past two seasons.

If they managed his playing time wisely ie; Byram we could profit from a very useful player and could be the difference for us getting us promoted.

Aren't loans always a bit of a gamble?
A player can be motivated and want game time and fitness at a lower level.
A player might want to kick-start a stalled career or put himself in the shop window. Or like rodon genuinely want a move to club he is being loaned to.
On the other side is a player like spence who is getting a good wage from his parent club and sees a loan a way of keeping the wage for least effort.
