Hate myself for saying this, come on Millwall!
Doesn't seem right, please forgive me father, he'd turn in his grave if he heard me say those words.

I’m thinking of watching the match but then I ask myself the question why would I want to watch a rugby team vs a Sunday league pub team. ?

14 Feb 2024 19:41:11
It's ok when it helps our cause!

14 Feb 2024 20:58:58
No favours for them tonight! What a surprise!

14 Feb 2024 21:00:23
Ipswich 3 up at HT. Not going away yet.

14 Feb 2024 21:17:41
Extremely disappointing HT score with Ipswich 3 nil up

Sadly those believing ' Ipswich gone' is wishful thinking. ☠️

Just had a look at Ipswich remaining fixtures. they have just 2 difficult looking matches

Southampton ( at home )
Norwich ( away)

Ani's Gonners.

14 Feb 2024 21:53:15
Yea yea…2 wins in 10…you’ve waited 6 weeks hoping to make your comment. I’m only here to read what was going to be so predictable.

14 Feb 2024 22:40:33
Millwall are only one place above relegation places so not an unexpected result, but it’s a funny old game, as they 14 shots to Ipswich 8 and both had 4 on target, and conceded a comical own goal.

Clearly need a striker Wall, but hopefully they won’t find one before they play us.

14 Feb 2024 23:09:44
Ani you are " gonner" look more than a tad erroneous if Ipswich are still in top 2 mix in 6 games time .

15 Feb 2024 01:30:26
Baz Disagree in your "only fixtures" analysis for Gonners. They have Coventry and Hull away too. They have a tough April. What's clear though is they're probably going to be no worse than 3rd by the start of April. I see Southampton falling back to 4th by time they play Gonners.

15 Feb 2024 01:44:20
Ok George fair enough
The Gonners also have tough (ish) away games at Coventry and Hull.

15 Feb 2024 03:16:21
They’re gonners.
How they are still hanging on is baffling.
4th or 5th.

15 Feb 2024 06:02:26
Ipswich were clearly playing the worst team in the Championship, Millwall were absolutely awful. If Ipswich hadn’t beaten them convincingly then they wouldn’t deserve to be even in the playoffs.

15 Feb 2024 08:23:51
For my sins I actually watched the first half, Millwall are terrible, they look and play like they are the worst team in this league and they most definitely are. Ipswich could win this game blindfolded.
Can’t watch any more of this as I would rather be at a lesbian vegan convention.

15 Feb 2024 12:06:36
I also watched the game; it is quite staggering how poor some of the teams are in the Championship; I have refrained from saying it to date, but Millwall were utterly terrible. I see better in the national league. You just know they will turn up at Elland Road however. On last nights showing, Leeds would put 10 on them, even with a shot conversion of 20%! let's be honest about the current standard of the Championship; three pretty awful EPL teams are setting points records in there presently.

15 Feb 2024 12:59:09
Hmm slightly desperate posts above re trying to explain the Gonners thrashing Millwall 4 nil

And Ani if EFL is mediocre with weak teams its further likely that Gonners won't be " gone " . they only have a few tough games left.

15 Feb 2024 20:07:12
Did you watch the game Baz?

Ipswich have carried the momentum from their promotion and have done very well and played well above themselves this season but I don’t think they will get promoted this season.
Next season will be the test for them in the Championship and I personally believe they will be lucky to make the playoffs.
Hats off to them though but that’s their lot I’m afraid for this season.

15 Feb 2024 21:33:39
Where's this convention OP? Asking for a friend.

15 Feb 2024 23:28:10
Baz…you’re the one deriding the quality of the league saying we have lost to poor teams and claiming anything but a 5-0 win is an underachievement. Anyway I digress, Ipswich are clearly better than most, but I maintain that they have “gone. ” They were 12 and 13 points respectively ahead of us and the Saints and now behind both of us. There was no getting away from last nights game, Ipswich beat an appallingly poor Millwall side.

16 Feb 2024 07:55:46
Indeed Ani, and their gaffer got the reward of leading the “team of the week”! What a joke!
