All this talk about, we need a more clinical centre forward, better cam, left back, right back. Who are these players? Where are they currently playing? How does anyone know they'll fit our system, and play better than what we already have?

I believe it’s the job of the scouts and recruitment staff to identify targets and not get them usually.

Its inexcusable/ unprofessional to only have a couple of sicknote players at LB, achilles heel gks, an
injured AG and Jaime Shack at RB, neither of whom are actual RBs etc etc

Systems in football are very much tangible and evident throughout the game. Every top manager has a system. Sorry to disappoint. Ignoring that fact would see us sign someone who will have zero impact as they don't fit. And the astro physics bollocks is a massive overcomplication. Farke's system is possession based, making use of a high to mid press along with overlapping and inverted full backs on opposite sides of the pitch when in possession. Pretty simple, but effective with the right profile of players. We need to get players that can do that without a protracted bedding in time. I don't know what to say if people choose to ignore or don't understand that ?♂️
Danum: Not sure if you were about a month ago, but I scouted four potential CFs who would improve our first team. I like Ryan Hardie from Plymouth. He's clinical and would be so much better in our squad considering the amount of chances we create. Kevin Denkey and Alexander Lind also very good options that should be considered.
As for RB, I'd be happy to take Roberts from Burnley or Johnson from Hammers. Long term I like the look of Killian Sardella from Anderlecht. Defensively responsible (a duel monster) and a ball playing RB who's passing is excellent. Would improve our first team.

Dill of course I know there's systems " seemingly " at play
My point is when you have likes of Kyle Walker able to adapt to said systems my point is somehow proven in so far as he's about as bright as midnight yet was able to adapt to different " systems " each time
Let's not overcomplicate the simplistic,
System unawareness is a ridiculous reason as to why we may not get such players.

I agree to an extent, but my main point being that we should buy players who play under a similar system so they hit the ground running rather than just buying someone who plays the position we need.
