AMN back on the rumours list at around 13, if true I think would be a decent purchase as can cover both back positions.
1.) 05 Aug 2025 23:35:22
Think I'd prefer Justin to AMN, but he's rumoured to be an Everton target.
03 Jul 2025 10:21:52
Perri agreed terms with Galatasaray reported.
24 Jun 2025 10:55:07
Rumour about Calvert-Lewin, better get medical room expanded, don't you just love click bait garbage.
1.) 24 Jun 2025 13:52:37
havent seen that - what is the source oldBri?
2.) 24 Jun 2025 14:56:49
News now.
3.) 24 Jun 2025 14:59:11
So not really a source as 99% is crap and ???.
4.) 24 Jun 2025 15:01:06
And it is on LeedsUnited. news.
5.) 25 Jun 2025 08:43:58
He's a very talented player, but unless he's free, and Keir Starmer redirects the cash from pensioners, and welfare for his salary, then he's too big a risk with our own injury track record!
6.) 25 Jun 2025 22:38:01
Thanks Oldbri.
7.) 25 Jun 2025 22:38:36
He would be free Brighton but he would still want a salary!
21 May 2025 09:31:09
Apparently Angel Gomes is on our radar.
1.) 21 May 2025 18:22:46
quality on a free appartently.
13 May 2025 09:54:38
40 million for kelleher rumoured.
1.) 13 May 2025 12:13:47
A lot of money for a goalkeeper especially when ramsdale is going for 20 25 million
Liverpool players r always overpriced imo.
2.) 13 May 2025 13:03:33
They can keep him mate.
3.) 13 May 2025 13:33:32
Worth spending £30m on him. He is better than Ramsdale imo.
4.) 13 May 2025 15:29:49
I agree MG but 40 no thank you.
5.) 13 May 2025 16:32:16
If Liverpool are paying 30 mill for an upgrade why would we pay 40?

Well I am amazed, who the hell cares if a player is fruity or black or Muslim or whatever as long as he does the job, to talk about wearing dresses and such and thinking it is funny dismays me, I am 71 and come from an era of racist comments and sexual innuendos but these are not part of today's standards and have no place on this site, if you have thoughts of this nature keep them to yourselves and concentrate on football.
1.) 14 Aug 2025 08:14:50
I was surprised with the comments old. I don’t really know what they are about. I presume he is gay or likes dressing up in women’s clothes. Who cares as long as he stays injury free and bangs In the goals. Must admit I prefer a skirt ( or as the Scot’s call it, a kilt) over trousers. Way more comfortable ?.
2.) 14 Aug 2025 09:26:01
Well said Oldbri. Football is about football and someone's personal characteristics should never be part of the conversation. We're living in 2025, not 1955 people.
3.) 14 Aug 2025 09:51:59
Agreed, Aus Calvert Lewin is married and has a child with his wife.
I really hope he comes in and absolutely smashes it.
4.) 14 Aug 2025 10:19:44
Who hasn't dressed on women's clothes for the crack.
I had to on my stag doo ??.
5.) 14 Aug 2025 11:03:17
Oh give over already. Nobody cares what people do, but there's a difference between having a laugh and being a moral busy body.
I grew up in the era of girl power, positive energy and happiness. We took the piss out of everyone, gay, straight, black, white, women, men, because it was all in good jest.
Sensitive namby pambys and humourless killjoys are why everything is seen as offensive nowadays. To think anyone needs to be told that they are people first is condescending.
I can take the piss out of the fella for being a fruit, dress wearing fanny and celebrate his goals, praise his dedication to the shirt and respect him as a professional.
Besides, the fella is worth millions, I'm sure a few hurty words online will mean nowt to him while he's driving around in lambos.
6.) 14 Aug 2025 14:48:16
You not earn a lot Chris?
7.) 14 Aug 2025 15:28:06
Alas MoT, the good old days of banter and humour crossing all boundaries seems to have floundered. I am a big devotee of Python, Spike and Dave Allen who were basically commenting on the ludicrousy of life and it was always give and take wiv a giggle. Now your lips seems to need to censor what your mouth is going to spit out. Tis a shame we have lost the ability to laugh at ourselves.
8.) 14 Aug 2025 16:24:51
You’re not laughing at yourselves though, I don’t think? You’re laughing at a minority who are always the joke. It wears a bit thin and (from experience) it can just feel a bit like gatekeeping, whether or not that’s the intention - I don’t doubt you meant it as banter. ALAW.
{Ed001's Note - I agree fully with you. It is never laughing at themselves, unfortunately.}
9.) 14 Aug 2025 17:23:36
I absolutely appreciate you point Right, but I never commented on the DCL thing, makes no difference to me anyone's preferences as long as they are a decent human being. We all have our life, just that we should be able to rise above and laugh at ludicrously of life, after all, ain't no point getting bent out of shape over something you have no control over.
10.) 14 Aug 2025 17:35:02
Plus ED 01 that's a bit rich seeing as ED 025 commented about coming down the tunnel in red high heels!
{Ed001's Note - I don't see how that is rich, we are different people you do realise that right? We have our own ideas and beliefs. He is of a different generation from me.}
11.) 14 Aug 2025 18:21:21
Exactly ED. And it's all about interpretation. I am 60 and experienced much. I meant no offence by my comments, just that, in those immortal words, when you are chewing on lifes gristle, just purse your lips and whistle and always look on the bright side of life. Well, rather than be a snowflake!
{Ed001's Note - see now you just come across as an arsehole when you call people a snowflake for not liking bigoted comments. Clearly just an old bigot trying to blame the victim for being hurt. Why should someone have to listen to some old codger making bigoted digs at their choices, just because they have no empathy or understanding of other people's point of view or lifestyle choices? It is people like you that are why people are ashamed of things when growing up. A little empathy would make the world a better place for everyone else.}
12.) 14 Aug 2025 18:43:37
You clearly haven't read my posts as they were meant ED and just picked out one word to condemn me by. Fair enough. But how on earth do you get "blame the victim" from? That is a very abusive post from yourself, but hey ho, that's life, spew your bile at my expense. I never said I didn't like Rights comments IF you care to read.
{Ed001's Note - if you don't see what you did by referring to anyone who doesn't just purse their lips and whistle as a snowflake, then that is on you, not me. That is victim shaming, calling someone a derogatory name for not being ok with being a target.}
13.) 14 Aug 2025 18:58:53
Er, did I not say that I appreciated Rights points? At no point did I persecute Right for his opinion, the quote was fron the life of Brian which is again a comment on life. Now I could find your attitude very offensive but I don't, I understand your point of view and as I have before I apologise if my opinion has caused offence, but that is no excuse for a barrage of abuse. Live by your own rules.
{Ed001's Note - at what point in LoB is that snowflake bit quoted from? If you had left that out, what you said would have been fine. The moment you added that, it became nasty and a dig at people who had a different outlook. If you are going to post derogatory names, then don't start whining when you get a response you don't like. All you had to do was stop before that last sentence, as it changed the whole tone of your post.}
14.) 14 Aug 2025 19:19:42
Lol, at what point am I whining? Just fighting me corner dude. I have no problem with criticism, just being abused and quite honestly I don't get where being a bigoted old codger comes from, but thank you, I have been called worse. I have no truck with anyone ED and I have been on this site a Long time. I have apologised a couple of times now, which has not been acknowledged, but
Again hey ho. You can ban me if you would like, but my posts are never ever meant derogatory to anyone.
{Ed001's Note - ok mate. I was never going to ban you, I don't know why you would say that. Like I said, all it would have taken is you for you not to end that paragraph with what turned it all into a big derogatory dig at others. It is exactly the same thing that bigots like Musk and Trump do when someone is offended by them. They call them snowflakes, rather than just acknowledging that what they said was wrong. It is the armour they use and it is just not something that should have been used.
Secondly, was there any need to call me out and basically accuse me of hypocrisy over something someone else said? What was the point in that? If I had said it, fine, dig me out because I would deserve it, but it quite clearly wasn't me.
As for the apologies, I apologise for not acknowledging them as I should have. I allowed my annoyance at you having a dig, piled on top a very abusive last few days on the sites (which is normal for the transfer window to be fair but sometimes you don't realise how much it piles up when you are not having the best of days for other reasons) to cloud my judgement. So my apologies to you as well. And also for being too reactionary. I should have explained my point calmly rather than jumping down your throat. It is the snowflake thing, I constantly read racists and bigots using it to have digs at people I care about using that. It drives me mad, just like the woke thing, which now seems to be the constant dig at anyone doesn't think being racist etc is ok.
That is my fault for not doing my normal response tactic. When something annoys me, I usually write a response, then delete it. Do it again and again and again. Eventually i start actually producing a decent response, rather than just snapping back. I didn't do that then and that is on me and something I have to accept as my failing here, apologies.}
15.) 14 Aug 2025 19:34:49
Jaysus what’s going on? I’ve read and re read and for the life of me I can’t see where Vid, who is a proper gent, was being nasty.
Seriously I am afraid to say anymore in case I get a tirade laid upon me.
Back to football I think.
16.) 14 Aug 2025 19:45:13
Thank you ED for what you said. We all have "triggers"! It takes a bigger man to come to terms. i truly appreciate your response.
{Ed001's Note - it was my fault and I have to remember the mechanisms I have in place to stop that kind of response. So again I apologise, as I have to say I have never seen you as anything but a valued, entertaining and interesting poster. Unlike some others I won't mention!}
17.) 14 Aug 2025 22:28:42
Love your posts Vid! Keep 'em coming pal! ALAW!
18.) 15 Aug 2025 09:42:31
Think that was a very amicable and very decent conclusion by both persons.
19.) 15 Aug 2025 11:06:18
Very well said Bri
MOT.
12 Aug 2025 10:05:50
I have no doubt a striker will be signed, however my concern is the quality of said signing, as we are merrily letting others sign good strikers or being unwilling to pay an extra bit for some decent players we may well end up with better than our back up strikers but no better than Piroe. Take Muniz for example yes he is expensive but in today's climate is 45 or 50 too much for a young and prem experienced striker. Calvert is on our radar class act but injury prone come on don't look at average players we need a class act difficult I know but saving a million or two will not break the bank.
1.) 12 Aug 2025 11:30:15
Top post Oldbri.
Clock ticking away very fast - if we do get anyone it will be the end of August or beginning of September before they are ready to blend into the first team. And the other disappointment for me is lack of a creative attacking midfielder - think almost everyone on this site has called for a striker and a CAM fir a very long time now and still nothing has been done about it!
2.) 12 Aug 2025 12:31:37
Despite the good start to the transfer window here we are in the same old LUFC situation after allegedly chasing signings who we are very unlikely to get. It's as though the Club can say to us, "we really did try to get them, but they wouldn't come in the end". It will be very disappointing if we go into the Everton game without any additions to the squad.
3.) 12 Aug 2025 12:44:39
Good post Bri. What worries me is we’ll end up with Sergent and some fans will try and see a positive and convince the rest he’s a decent striker!
05 Aug 2025 09:15:30
Dovbyk been around the news a long time now, any opinions? At 25 to 30 looks decent to me but is there a better option. Muniz and Mitrovich are none starters too expensive and wages crazy high I should think.
1.) 05 Aug 2025 10:27:21
Would hope Muniz is more than a non-starter given we've been chasing him for over a month, not a good sign on the recruitment team if so.
02 Aug 2025 10:58:17
Don't get me wrong so far I am pleased with our transfers, however I am a tad concerned that with 2 weeks to go no striker has been bought, leaving very little time for him to get used to our style of play and current squad members. This could be detrimental to our early games. One other thing is our sales are either not happening or being delayed for a reason seems strange that Bamford, Meslier and Joseph are still on our payroll. Surely someone has made a decent offer for them or one of them, I understand we shouldn't virtually give them away but zero so far, someone on here I am sure will put me right but to me it seems strange.
1.) 02 Aug 2025 11:19:39
Fair lost old. Right to have concerns. Thought gk was left to late as they don’t need bedding down in the team. Can walk straight in. Farke and 49 ers must think same with strikers.
2.) 02 Aug 2025 11:46:09
no decent offers for any of those three. Bamford's issue will be wages - he is unlikely to get the same wage anywhere else and with none year left may choose to sit tight. I also wouldn't be surprised if he wants to stick around and fight for a chance particularly if we don't bring anyone in.
3.) 02 Aug 2025 11:50:56
Great post I agree with all of it - I do believe we will get a striker and a winger / Am and a fullback cover but I’d have liked them in a bit earlier just to get settled but will be happy while they come
With regards to outgoings I suppose it’s insurance in case we don’t get people in very much a food chain once we are fed we will let the lower clubs feed off the scraps.
4.) 02 Aug 2025 13:54:33
Today’s squad and starting line up looks quite worrying.
5.) 02 Aug 2025 14:20:52
Who wants a decent offer Alf. Get rid.
30 Jul 2025 16:41:23
Newcastle making move for Muniz reportedly 40 million.
1.) 30 Jul 2025 17:29:21
Let them have him. 40 million for a fifth choice striker from a mid-table team?
2.) 30 Jul 2025 17:32:07
yes is a backup option if they don't get Sesko I think.
3.) 30 Jul 2025 17:48:33
Let’s be honest, we never stood a chance on Muniz.
If we were going to get him it had to be early like they tried.
Whose next?
The recruitment team have got their work cut out now to save this window.
4.) 30 Jul 2025 18:12:20
Yeah I hope they have something up their sleeve
See it’s Sunderland favourites to stay up at the moment
I like the defensive and midfield buys
We need an attacker and a winger.
5.) 30 Jul 2025 19:38:06
Linked with Roma's Ukraine centre forward Dobkya who is valued at £30 million and from the clips on youtube looks like he could be a modern day Viduka with pace. Big strong unit. West Ham also interested so we'll see but I wouldn't be disappointed if we got him instead of Muniz.
6.) 30 Jul 2025 22:26:25
Always been the case that Fulham want another striker in before letting Muniz go. Nothing has changed.
11 Aug 2025 16:42:55
Oh good he will be rolling all over I can't fecking abide the bloke.
07 Aug 2025 14:17:58
33 but good stats.
05 Aug 2025 09:17:34
Bang on Dunelm, only the dicks on the terraces get involved with the politics with race religion etc.
31 Jul 2025 18:19:57
Don't want Khannouss 3 goals in 32 prem games no better than Matteo.
31 Jul 2025 15:02:14
Elliott would be the missing link for me and in my humble opinion well worth paying top wack.
14 Aug 2025 07:41:34
100% ani4ni.
13 Aug 2025 22:51:51
Nice one ilk.
12 Aug 2025 14:53:22
Our problem is we are a massive club but that's fan based only, we have to understand that our beloved Leeds is not the club we once were. I know we will be again but potential signings and agents don't see that according to them we are a yo-yo club. If we can remain in the premiership for 26/ 27 season they will start to see our potential and better players will become dare I say easier to sell ourselves to.
10 Aug 2025 14:00:08
And me in fact here's mine now anyone that beats blades either Manchester team an Everton, there are a lot more but .
10 Aug 2025 07:13:33
Great performance lol.
