Of all the players Leeds have out on loan which, if any, would you have back playing for us?
For what its worth my choice would be Max Wober. Last year with us he played well and would certainly improve the LB position with a bonus of providing CB cover.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Feb 2024 13:59:02
I am not bothered if we never see any of them again to be honest Leo.

11 Feb 2024 14:01:28
None mate!

11 Feb 2024 14:15:48
He is primarily a Cb tho, is he not, so for me, if we keep Rodon, and keep the rest fit, he wouldn’t even get a start. I like his attitude, tho, so on that basis, plus the versatility you mention, yeah, he would be the only one I’d consider too.

11 Feb 2024 15:17:55
Wober is Champo level .

Sini and JH were the only talented players that left on loan. with the former having left permo

IF we go up I would only keep JH. EPL proven goals and assists with LUFC.

11 Feb 2024 15:32:05
I thought Wober was useful too Leodis but as the others have said, all those ships have now sailed.

Regardless of which division we find ourselves in next season we must secure the services of several of the current squad, for me, Archie first and foremost, followed by Rutter, Rodon (need to actually sign him) , Gruev, Amps, James and Kamara.

I know we will want to hang onto Summerville and possibly Gnonto but I have a feeling both will leave this summer regardless - certainly won't be around if we fail to get promoted. All the more reason to keep those I've listed above.

11 Feb 2024 16:08:09
Leo, in a word None.

11 Feb 2024 16:56:33
Where a better team and a much more togetherness without them plus if we go up we will buy better than those out on loan in other worse sell the lot.

11 Feb 2024 17:11:27
Wöber is happy where he is and has already stated that, he won’t be coming back.
I will be hugely surprised if any of that rabble will come back and play for Leeds again.
Once again, that was the past and we move on with better players who want to play for Leeds United.

11 Feb 2024 17:16:06
Good post Cleggy! ??.

11 Feb 2024 17:58:08
Wober as CB and DM cover would be the best of them.
Would be very happy to keep everyone we have and look at replacing the following
Cooper, Dallas and Darlow who are now past their best so Wober alongside a keeper and FB would make sense .
Then its just an upgrade on Shacks for a AM, Gelhardt for a goalscorer and maybe another winger instead of Anthony .

Will they cash in on some of the jewels we have is another question .

They are better staying with us than going to a bottom half prem side . Really unless a top eight prem side come in they should stay with us because I believe we are on the right trajectory to become a top 8 side .

11 Feb 2024 18:14:50
JH is ' rabble ' OP?

Will you be calling JH that next season., as you have Leeds going up all season , which if happens.

Then JH will definitely be playing for Leeds next season.

11 Feb 2024 18:49:53
Would've had Sini back.

11 Feb 2024 19:35:56
Depends who we sign

I loved sini but very injury prone

Jack on his day was class but also very formy

Woble looked good but played in poor team
And again injured a lot

Guess overall I’d say let’s try and get better for the prem next year.

11 Feb 2024 20:04:43
Promotion or not Harrison will not be coming back.
He made sure of that by insisting on a move last summer. I’m still amazed he doesn’t get the same flack as the other turncoats as he’s even worse in my opinion. At least the other lads who jumped ship weren’t at Leeds long enough to understand the whole Leeds United thing.
Jack while a nice lad and probably, like most players, these days is only thinking of himself and his social media career.

11 Feb 2024 20:59:30
Definitely agreed Dill

Not what Corkster said.

11 Feb 2024 21:48:21
You surely don’t want to go down this worn out Harrison route again do you Baz.
Look, Harrison would certainly give you most of the time 100% commitment, that there is no doubt.
Where he does fail though was in his end product and we’ve all talked about it in the past, it’s nothing new. He gets picked off far too often in possession, in all he is not effective enough in the final third. His 6 goals for us last season was meager, but don’t get me wrong, I like Harrison for his effort but we can do better than him and if I may say so we are doing very well without him.

If Everton manage somehow to stay up again and not get relegated, I do think they’ll buy him, regardless of whether we get promoted.
It’s adieu to Jack Harrison for me, thank you for your hard work, we move on.

11 Feb 2024 23:14:28
OP dodgy singular stat not giving whole picture ( as per your norm)

Last season 6 goals AND 11 ( eleven ) ASSISTS

Jack Harrison is EPL proven playing in a woeful Relegation fodder Leeds United team

His stats are therefore impressive

In 3 seasons in EPL for Leeds United

Goals 25 Assists 24

Two of those 3 seasons Leeds United were woeful/ abysmal 17th and 19th yet JH was very good to excellent in ALL three seasons!

OP you don't rate highly enough players who have done very well for
LUFC like JH, Rodrigoal and Pablo. yet bizarrely you do rate highly players who detrimentally cost Leeds relegation such as Meslier! ?.

11 Feb 2024 23:16:12
. and what makes you think Everton can even afford to buy JH ( £25million plus ) with their ongoing financial issues?

12 Feb 2024 08:06:21
Baz, where are those JH stats from? He scored 5 (five) goals and 7 (seven) assists in 36 EPL games. A goal involvement every 227 minutes.

Including the FA Cup games against Cardiff and the mighty Accrington adds a goal (for 6) and 3 assists (for 10) .

Seems a bit off to claim 6 goals and 11 assists, to prove EPL quality when it’s 6 and 10, but really much lower at 5 and 7 in just the EPL.

12 Feb 2024 08:54:22
JH will categorically NOT be back at Leeds. Everton can’t afford him, but others can and will. We don’t need his wage packet back anyway. If we do go up, I’d much rather have DJ, Cree and Wilf plus JA anyway, with scope to invest his wages elsewhere. That ship has sailed.

12 Feb 2024 08:54:48
There you go again Baz making things up again.
Pablo Hernandez was a good player for Leeds although he was not a big time player in the Premiership and he did arrive at Leeds towards the end of his career and perhaps we didn’t benefit him in his prime.

Rodrigo Merino also took a long time to get fit before he started playing well, another player who was coming to the end of his career, he was never a prolific goal scorer throughout his professional football career.

I’ve enjoyed all their contributions to our club during the Championship and Premiership but neither Harrison, Rodrigo or Pablo were great players during their time with us.
I could name a few great players who have played for Leeds United in the past if you wish?

Players like Meslier, Summerville, Gnonto and Rutter are very interesting prospects for the foreseeable future of our club, not players coming to the end of their careers or players like JH who work very hard at their game but will never be a top player.

12 Feb 2024 09:28:23
Brockley my stats come from my memory
3 assists in cup games . hmm ok

Ok season 2020/ 21
Jack Harrison EPL 34 games 8 goals and 8 assists I am 100% sure is correct . nothing in cups as Leeds were knocked out in both League Cup and FACup without scoring a goal

2021/ 22 Jack scored TEN goals .100 % sure ALL TEN were EPL goals . as Leeds got knocked out of FA Cup in 3rd round by West Ham 2 nil

Jack Harrison a very, very useful EPL player
#EPL proven . no doubt ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️.

12 Feb 2024 10:01:06
Brighty time will tell soon enough. IF Leeds go up JH plsying for Leeds next season is more than feasible

OP I wouldn't expect you ( to want to) understand / admit you be wrong

Pablo was vital for Leeds as without the talismanic inspiring real leader of LUFC Pablo Hernandez and his 21 goal contributions 9 goals and 12 assists Leeds United would NOT have even been promoted

Conversely without the. gash buffoonery and clangers of Meslier Leeds United woukd not have been relegated.

12 Feb 2024 10:22:01
Oh dear Baz ??? If you really believe Meslier was the sole reason behind our relegation and not Jesse Marsch and his want away players like JH, Adams, Wober, Sini, Aaronson and the other yank who was so insignificant I can’t even remember his name.
These are the players and coach you raved about whist at our club.

12 Feb 2024 11:25:28
OP dear oh dear

I did NOT state Gashlier/ Meslier was the ' sole reason ' for R

but having an even half decent competent gk would have been crucial to. staying up.

And since when did I ever " rave " about Brenty and any other Leeds coach coaching Leeds that season. Never!

And the only LUFC player I " raved " about was Rodrigoal and his 15 EPL goals . quite right too.
JH and Sini were decent stats.

But as you know I stated all season Leeds would go down so its not only illogical of you again but honestly disingenuous nonsense fabrication for you to state I was raving about LUFC players and coaches of 2022/ 23 last season. ?.

12 Feb 2024 11:51:33
Come on Baz it’s all fair is it not that if you fabricate my posts that I do the same about yours.
Anyways.
