Anyone else heard the rumours of Fulham in for Struik 12.5k but Leeds have held off due to the Rutter transfer but Fulham want it done by the end of the week? Smells a bit of ??.

What did we pay £4 million, again you’re selling potential, strangely Gnoto is less predictable than Cree, I worry what affect his best mate leaving will have on him? I think 16-20 million is good money for potential.
What did that team in blue who beat us to promotion spend? It’s more right team, coach than right players, and I believe that’s partly why they have let Cree go.
WBA and Norwich also won a ticket for the £200 million winner takes all games last season and they spent very little by comparison.
I think it’s as much the coach as the players in this league but Farkey has a proven track record and a full preseason to get it right this time.

If Gnonto stays and plays on the left he can put up
similar numbers to Cree. Less goals maybe but more assists and generally more effective in the team.
Not too long ago he was way above Summerville as a talent in the top flight.

Total payout £26,886.36, now that is worth anyone’s £250.00, the wheel on William Hill is still spinning to say “your bet is being verified by our customer service agents, you will be notified in due course. The £250.00 is still in my account, I feel like placing a bet on if they take my bet or not, but come on guys you have to admit, that really is worth a dabble at that isn’t it, now I just sit back and start thinking of what to buy myself a victory present! It’s going to be a vintage 2025 year! ??.

That bet won’t be accepted Woody. Leeds and Joseph in the same bet is what’s called a related bet as one outcome effects the other. The double on the Leeds connection is about 55/1 but you would get around 33/1 or so as a special.
Basically it’s because if Leeds win the league it gives Mateo a better chance of being top league scorer. Hope that makes sense? Poor in to a shop and get the bet priced up because it’s definitely got a chance and you have me thinking.

Corky mate you are spot on because they are only letting me put a maximum bet of £50 treble with odds less as a treble, I did think but not much good on the gambling and yes what you say makes sense, so I’ve put a straight £250 on Leeds to win the league at 100/ 30 with another bet of £50 on MJ to be top scorer at the now revised odds of 10/ 1 with Coral, still a nice little earner if it comes in and makes even more exciting, why is at 57 years young I still get excited the week before the start of the season, I always think we will win every game and we will win the league, all logics goes out of the window when your a Leeds fan eh! There’s talk of McKenna being considered for England, which imo would guarantee them going down. Aside from that, I still feel they will be wallowing in the mix. Hard graft and team spirit only gets you so far in the EPL. Quality, and talent generally come out on top. Not a “safe bet” but it ain’t gambling otherwise in my books! (Although clearly I am aware of the benefits of other forms of playing the market) .

If Ipswich’s defense hasn’t changed then they will almost certainly be relegated. Leeds winning the Championship is my bet again this season with or without Summerville, if he does go which looks likely then I don’t think we will necessarily replace him like for like. There could be a reshuffling with possibly Willy taking Summerville’s position and we might now have the funds to tempt Sara to Elland Rd, who is a very versatile player who knows how to score goals and who would also be more effective for the very physical challenges of the Championship.
Joseph is a good shout Woody for a separate bet. as top scorer, absolutely why not.
No good as a related bet as Cork pointed out with us winning the league but Leeds conceding the least goals also would be a favorite for me.

Ipswich have bought Greaves, OP. For me, the best left sided CB in the Champo last year (granted unknown at EPL level) and I think he has the talent to do well in the Prem, although a move from Ipswich likely in his future. Really talented lad.
Ben Johnson has gone there, too.
I read this morning they've finalised a move for Conor Townsend from West Brom as well, although suggests he'll be a squad player.

Those last minute goals Ipswich scored could be seen as resilience from last season but for me it was more about luck, also with VAR in the Premiership they won’t get away with their sometimes very blatant fouling.
I’m expecting them to put up a fight like Luton did but the end result will be relegation.
