Think all in all we were all expecting 5 points from last three games so unless we get something from Newcastle. I think we have underperformed. I mean we have proven hard to beat without causing too much trauma the other end.

Perri cost us 3 v mancs. Let’s hope he can pull of some worldies and help us v Newcastle. Given 1 point per game will prob be enough but need to win a few more and soon.

07 Jan 2026 06:41:08
Without causing too much trauma? Does that mean scoring, or almost scoring, 'cause we carry plenty of threat. DCL hit the post, our set pieces can now cause chaos, and we are far advanced from where we were.
Perri has made crucial saves in the last 2 games at least.

I say he's "even" for conceding that one vs Man U, as it was a 50:50 call for him, and he, as well as probably 50% of other GKs made the wrong one on the day. It happens!

07 Jan 2026 06:45:41
I'm happy enough with a point per game personally. I certainly wasn't expecting much from Anfirld or St James Park and the Man U game was always going to be tough regardless of their form.

07 Jan 2026 08:09:54
I’m with Bright on that one, a bit harsh on Perri, looks like you might have something against goalkeepers Aus?
It’s very easy for me to say the reason we didn’t beat Man Utd was because the defenders didn’t do their job properly either or DCL shouldn’t be hitting the post with his header.

If anything at the moment we are a little further ahead than what would normally be expected by this Championship quality team.
Our problem will be to keep players like DCL, Rodon, Amps and Perri fit for the rest of this season, otherwise if they aren’t then we have a very good chance of being relegated back to the Championship.
It really is pointless to imagine that we are a much better team than we are, finishing 17th this season will in my opinion be a major achievement by Farke and his players.

07 Jan 2026 09:13:22
I don't know how anyone can look at those fixtures, losing none, drawing away at anfield and feeling like we underperformed.

Just two months ago, we were wondering where the points, and goals, we're going to come from. Unbeaten is unbeaten and has added to our cushion and GD.

If we draw the remaining 18 games we end up on 40 points, a total all would have happily accepted at the start of the season.

It's far from over and overall we have underperformed and dropped points we shouldn't have, but that just shows how much better we've adapted.

The players, recruitment and Farke have done a remarkable turn around are the best looking team in decades, excluding of course the Bielsa years that were lightning in a bottle.

07 Jan 2026 09:20:03
Well Aus, 5 points from those 3 would have been an achievement indeed, I doubt many were expecting it! Indeed looking at our programme prior to the Citeh game December and new year we're daunting to say the least so to be unbeaten in 7 is an achievement in itself! The progress is startling not just in the results but the manner in which we have harvested them.

Another tough match tonight and a point would be a good one!

07 Jan 2026 17:36:49
You expected 5 points from THOSE games, otherwise we're underachieving!
Glad you're not my boss.

06 Jan 2026 23:17:05
There is a chance of Ole being at the wheel again! He is in talks.

Agree1 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 06:41:53
He'd be better this time than last, and better that Amorim, sadly.

07 Jan 2026 06:43:40
Carrick also one of the favourites for 'interim' manager.

06 Jan 2026 22:50:26
Hearing Nuno has been sacked.

07 Jan 2026 06:42:57
If they bring Bilic in, we're safe! But not seeing any confirmation this morning, yet?

07 Jan 2026 08:19:35
West Ham are on a spiral downwards, the toxicity from their fans to their owners is deep and creating a very negative charge through their entire club. I honestly believe no coach can change their destiny.
They have the players to get out of this problem but not without the support from their fans.

07 Jan 2026 14:25:00
They have just spent near on £50m over the last few days. Panic buying hopefully.

Interesting night coming up. West Ham v Forest. Not quite sure whether I want a draw or a Forest win? I think Dyche is secure at Forest whatever the result but Nuno is under great pressure if he doesn't get a win at home.

The fans relationship with him is toxic and most of the squad find him difficult-remote, erratic and not connecting with senior players such as Ward Prowse. Whatever, the mayhem elsewhere should help us.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Jan 2026 19:24:15
I’m guessing a draw, but I’m zero from 200 plus in predictions.

West Ham have come to their senses in picking Soucek again, and Sels back in goal for Florists, for me, both their respective best players last season, couldn’t understand both being dropped.

And their results speak volumes.

06 Jan 2026 19:46:05
That's why Nuno has ***sed off some of the established players. The results have been crap so bring in the likes of WP and Souchek. Haven't looked at the teams so don't know who's in. One thing about WP, if you get a free kick around the edge of the box there's not many better at hitting the back if the net.

06 Jan 2026 19:49:11
No WP or Wilson. He's on his way out. Ironic if he joined us and put another nail in their coffin.

06 Jan 2026 20:10:34
So many empty seats at West Ham. Fans making their feelings known. Even when we struggled and Farke was under pressure the fans still turned up. That's how it should be.

06 Jan 2026 20:58:46
Would prefer to see a Forest equaliser in H2, and a dull stalemate from there. Just keep both of them at arms length.

06 Jan 2026 21:52:18
Well, Spammers are in big big trouble now, that was awful.

06 Jan 2026 21:57:03
Thought you were going to get your wish Bright but looking more like a Forest win. Think Nuno will be gone tomorrow.

06 Jan 2026 22:00:07
Supposed can accept a Spammers defeat, then!

06 Jan 2026 22:01:38
Nuno embracing his ex Forest players and little contact with his current squad. He's gone.

06 Jan 2026 22:39:23
Probably the best result for us. A Spam win would have reduced our lead over the relegation zone to 5 whereas now it's still 8. On average the points requirement for survival is about 36, but after 21 games Spam are only on 14, and so need at least 22 from their remaining 17 games which would need a massive improvement in form.

We on the other hand we need 14 from 18.

06 Jan 2026 23:13:05
That was the best result for us. A point tomorrow night would do very nicely.

07 Jan 2026 06:45:38
But I want 3 feath!

07 Jan 2026 12:50:00
One can dream Bright!

06 Jan 2026 08:02:41
just seen on sky sports the voting and betting for the next manager of man u. Very unusual as Frank Sidebottom wasn't even mentioned.?

Still no sign of any out going’s or incomings, can we offload Harrison and Mez?
Seen west ham have already brought in 2 forwards, not messing around, palace got brenan Johnson
I know spam have been bad but they already have a good squad and manager, it worries me they might start climbing
We need to strengthen, I’m not convinced by struijk, he is slow, not great at headers and gets caught out a lot.
I think we are ok at the back, Perri still a worry, good shot stopper but not fantastic.

I’d leave back line as is but need Rodon back asap.
We need some creativity and another goal scorer, go get Macatee and Parrot
Tough game against Toon, not involved great form but they’re dangerous at home, fast on attack.
Wissa likes that run in behind, struijk needs to be aware
Come 49ers, get some business done, we in a great position and worth investment in squad.

Apparently they're keeping everything under wraps and a tight lid on rumours. Farke said no movements, if any, will happen before Derby as the schedule of games is too tight. After that there's a week or so gap so expect any deals to be done then, if any.

I can see a Harrison for Largie direct swap with Largie being loaned out to a champo club.
Piroe going to the champo on a loan to buy.
Mes will go nowhere until the summer.
Personally I would cash out on Gnonto if we got a good offer.

After the summer window and how it turned out great in hindsight, we need a little faith and patience with the 49ers, they know what they're doing and have grabbed some incredible bargains again.

06 Jan 2026 07:16:36
How is it West Ham have signed a new striker, we have been looking for years for one and still we haven’t bought anyone.

06 Jan 2026 07:58:04
No to Parrot at the prices quoted.

06 Jan 2026 08:46:50
I think it’s probably the out goings that are slowing the incoming ones.
I’d personally let go of
Gnonto
Meslier
Harrison
Piroe
Byram

There were summer links with Gnonto to Saudi, how about Ruben Neves +£5m for Gnonto? ( I know it won’t happen but that would be a nice 1.

Jose Gaya swap for Harrison ( gives us LB cover)

Pay Mes and Byram up and release them.

Piroe loan with Obligation

Loan in Santiago Gimenez from AC Milan with option of summer purchase.

06 Jan 2026 11:27:49
Well guys it's still very early in the window. So Wet Spam have bought in Castellanos and Felipe, 2 strikers and looking at Traore. Are these players they were tracking and have accelerated or are they just available and affordable so chuck the kitchen sink at it? Why are they available? There ain't no quick fix, it takes time to integrate to a new club and league and time is one thing you don't have at this stage of a season.

Wet Spam are poor throughout, gawd knows where they would be without Bowen. We seem to have this same conversation every January, it's all good at the moment and this squad has got us where we are, yes I would say we need cover but I would rather we took time to get the right players as that cover and trust our current squad to finish what they have achieved so far. Just me of course 😁.

06 Jan 2026 22:53:32
Good points vid.

05 Jan 2026 17:25:22
Amorim is the 19th manager to be sacked directly after playing us, in the last 34 seasons.
Follow me for more pointless facts.

05 Jan 2026 21:46:07
Can we add mo Salah meltdown as part of the scalps? It nearly got Slot sacked.

Does the fact include the double of Rooney, even if his second sacking was the game after Leeds, which he was allowed to play to save him from humiliation?

05 Jan 2026 22:15:08
The stat is only for managers sacked the same day or the day after playing Leeds so Rooney wouldn't be included.

06 Jan 2026 07:18:50
Something we should all not be proud off in my book.

06 Jan 2026 08:01:16
Sorry Whitey. Confused this for a footie forum, when it's clearly actually for moral commentary, and conscience evaluation! 🥴🤮🤣.

06 Jan 2026 08:15:56
I wouldn’t have thought Man U fall into any moral category anyway.

06 Jan 2026 11:17:31
Bright if that floats your boat good for you 🤦‍♂️🤯🤢.

06 Jan 2026 17:41:34
Read the post again, and then explain to me where pride, or boat floating comes into it?
It doesn't at all, so post away with your woke judgemental nonsense, and I will just tear it up for ya. No time for that cack, or the people who spout it.
That is all.

06 Jan 2026 18:56:35
Bright as I said good for you🤷🏻‍♂️.

06 Jan 2026 21:01:33
So no answer then. Just as I expected.
That's not something you should be proud of, in my book. 😬.

06 Jan 2026 21:34:22
Just What I expected more garbage 🤦‍♂️what football bin did you get that book full of crap from, end of.

06 Jan 2026 22:03:01
I seem to recall your last disappearing act came after similar woke, irrational t0ss? Feel free to toddle off anytime.

05 Jan 2026 17:24:11
Apparently west ham are looking to terminate callum wilson per Athletic. If he's fit and we are looking at moving Piroe on I'd definitely look at a deal for him til the end of the season. Maybe offer him the chance to train with us til the end of Jan and if we like what we see offer him a six month deal or maybe even incentive of another year say if he scores five league goals.

He's been there and done it. He's very much doing what Danny ings did last year and 4 goals in 18 without starting much is a pretty decent return and not far off what Nmecha is doing.

Sell Piroe for 10m+ promotion add ons and offer Wilson similar terms to his West Ham incentive laden deal we end up with money to spend and a more experienced prem striker. Probably too wishful and depends a lot on him being fit enough to earn that contract.

Agree8 Disagree0

05 Jan 2026 23:25:22
I actually thought Piroe was alongside Tanaka out best player at the weekend despite only 12 minutes!
It was a poor performance so turned out to be a great point
He still has to go as it’s so bad for his career sitting on the bench and his value for Leeds is diminishing by the week.

He’s not going to get a chance barring mass injuries to show his worth which is a shame. Get 10-15 million and reinvest in the squad.

06 Jan 2026 07:23:33
As was said our players looked tired he has had a good long rest and was only on for 12 minutes don’t see how that makes him one of our best 🤷🏻‍♂️.

06 Jan 2026 08:05:56
He's a cracking guy, and put huge effort in to be our fittest player before pre season. Talented player, with a good finish on him, but just not what we need right now. 10m would be a slap in the face for him and the club tho! Min 15m, plus add ons.
And agree re Wilson! Would save money for another signing too!
