Apparently Farke is the reason Firpo and Wober have gone, as He didn't want either player at the club due to their attitudes, according to rumours.
Likewise it's the reason they sold creswell and keep both Schmidt and Ramazani on the bench.
A good manager shouldn't be friendly or soft with his players, but I do wonder what message that will send to our new potential signings?
1.) 05 Jul 2025 17:00:20
You got tow the line you can't have unrest in dressing room zits the reason Mr Bielsa got rid of pontus and siezi its like having a bad apple in box you get it out mot we crack on.
2.) 05 Jul 2025 17:40:32
Totally agree Mally!
3.) 05 Jul 2025 20:17:48
Wober couldn't be bothered to play for us after we went down. Fled first opportunity he got and feigned injury when he wasn't out on loan. If Farke got rid that's one of the best things he has ever done in my book.
Firpo can't defend and was holding us to ransom on the value of the new contract. He also had a deal with Betis early last season so didn't want to stay anyway.
4.) 05 Jul 2025 20:48:44
And creswell, ramazani, Schmidt?
Then keeping Meslier long past due?
I respect a manager has to take hold of the dressing room, Fergie did it and took a team of primadonnas and showed them he was boss.
I'm just speculating as to what image that gives players coming to Leeds? Ramazani and Schmidt haven't played. Crew was benched. Geldhardt didn't get a look in. Farke played Byram over Schmidt and Byram score and OG nearly costing us the cup.
I'm critical of Farke, but always give credit where it's due. I hope he wins us the Prem title. I just wonder that if he doesn't succeed, will we have missed out on players because of it?
5.) 05 Jul 2025 23:16:35
The look on Farkes face when Rama came off the bench and scored a superb goal said a lot. Bristol city I think it was.
6.) 05 Jul 2025 23:19:36
I get what you are saying MOT, but as you say, according to rumours. I would suggest as DF won us the title and promotion his methods worked. Add to that the team spirit is amazing, there seems to be a real unity which also you would have to credit DF and his team for. Rama I would suggest was benched mostly because of Manors performances, as wad Willy because he was up against DJ. Firepower got game time because of his offensive abilities so any problem with DF was put aside it seems for the better of the team. Given all of this I would suggest players would have no problem coming to Leeds because of supposed rumour about DF, there are plenty of players who seem to live him, agent Guillavogie for one and despite being benched Rama was like a cat on a hot tin roof when we were promoted, no negative vibes there.
7.) 05 Jul 2025 23:20:35
How much was Firpo asking Alf as I never saw any figures?
I doubt he’s getting as much at Betis as he would have at Leeds.
Holding Leeds to ransom are harsh words. More likely he just wanted to return to Spain which is fair enough to me.
8.) 05 Jul 2025 23:32:16
I don’t know how much he was asking for but I agree with Alf, somebody at the club told me he was holding them to ransom.
9.) 06 Jul 2025 09:20:02
Firpo took a 30k a week paycut when we were relegated. He stuck with the club and was a contributing factor in our success this season. I cannot blame the guy for wanting his fair share of higher wages, or wanting to swap Beeston to Spain.
10.) 06 Jul 2025 10:47:29
Firpo simply was proven not to be an EPL standard defender so an upgrade was needed!
Hopefully he's landing today.
11.) 06 Jul 2025 12:03:22
C'mon. Crew wasn't exactly benched was he? He wasn't ready, and definitely isn't now in the PL. And we simply had better options than Joffy. Schmidt and Rama, maybe, but the jury us still out on both as far as I'm concerned, again, because we are now in the PL.
12.) 06 Jul 2025 14:26:14
Schmidt and rama have stayed, despite being benched. Solomon, who was fourth place at the start of the season, chose to return to the club that benched and outcast him.
Schmidt and ramazani have a lot of talent, as does Solomon. I just find it strange that the two lads who were benched are still at leeds and the one who was played pulled a summerville.
The Jury is out on Firpo being good enough for the prem.
13.) 06 Jul 2025 15:27:55
I assume you've only been a Leeds fan for 2 years MoT?
If not you are in a very small minority who wouldn't say Firpo was not up to EPL standards. Excellent going forward in a team with lots of possession (yup we messed up buying from Barcelona where defenders din need to defend! ) . He looked good at EFL but always looked like getting beat or likely to give away a penalty.
Soloman is under contract so it's not up to him if he wants to leave spurs!
14.) 06 Jul 2025 16:41:31
not do you understand a contract he had no option but return to spurs Leeds then have or had an opportunity to attempt to purchase but as yet seem to have withheld this attempt. Firpo was a loose cannon in premiership.
15.) 06 Jul 2025 18:00:30
Somebody at the club? That ole chestnut.
16.) 06 Jul 2025 23:20:30
£100k per week is what I heard.
17.) 09 Jul 2025 21:39:49
Well lads how can you say giro was nt up to the epl standard to be honest I found him to be the most improved player Leeds had his shooting, heading, was spot on got forward a lot more a did get back and defend aswell I think he was getting better all the time he was at Leeds, I don’t want to sound like a bad apple but there s something about our mr farke, had good player in spence, really playing well him and farke fallout disappeared had a argument with ramazani, and he went out of the team when looking pretty good if you remember then gnonto, playing really well dropped for couple weeks and as always been sub since starting piroe before him is completely wrong, it’s like our mr farke has a chip on his shoulder, also what I found wrong a lot last year is if you watch back not the best setting up for set pieces really poor from our corners teams breaking away and scoring.
21 Jun 2025 15:05:30
Alf, LAD, any updates on Diarra? I like the look of that fella.
1.) 21 Jun 2025 17:11:39
He would be a huge signing for sure!
2.) 21 Jun 2025 18:42:51
Nothing my side.
3.) 23 Jun 2025 11:13:00
possibly coming to visit today but this is putting 100 tenuous links together.
4.) 23 Jun 2025 13:12:06
Will hold you to that Alf. Hope you not misinforming us.
5.) 23 Jun 2025 13:37:57
would I lie to you, Aus?
6.) 23 Jun 2025 20:14:22
Is that to the tune of Charles and Eddie, Alf?
7.) 23 Jun 2025 21:53:42
oh yeah!
20 May 2025 21:35:47
I've heard, from unreliable sources, that Vardy is coming to Leeds. Anyone know owt?
.
1.) 20 May 2025 21:59:10
I don't know for sure, but I've heard your unreliable sources, are indeed, unreliable! ?
Seriously tho, no, not heard anything other than what's already out there, and taken it with a huge salt stone on Vardy. Can't see it happening at all given his wages, and age, and our recruitment model.
I'm am sure tho, that I haven't seen the last instance of me being wrong!
2.) 21 May 2025 00:19:40
hope not mot. just don't see the point really. he might have one more season in him but might not. why take the gamble. more sensiblke gambles must be out there.
3.) 21 May 2025 09:49:12
cant see it happening myself. haven't heard anything regarding a transfer from any club sources.
4.) 21 May 2025 11:46:59
Whilst I also find this to be unlikely, I would rather have him as our 'impact sub' than Bamford (as much as I like him) . Bamford's wages are still v. high and if we could ship him out, Vardy can only command a lightly higher salary. Maybe worth a punt.
5.) 21 May 2025 14:24:46
Good point jj on all levels.
14 May 2025 16:46:08
With the rumours circling, has anyone heard anything about Gnonto, Piroe and Ramazani?
1.) 15 May 2025 16:01:58
Nope heard nothing.
2.) 15 May 2025 17:19:13
All I've heard to date js that they're all in the past. ans, and the intention is to keep them. I guess that may change if offers come in?
3.) 15 May 2025 19:49:34
All in the plans** not in the past! ??.
4.) 15 May 2025 22:55:36
Nothing about any of them leaving.
24 Apr 2025 09:42:06
Firpo linked with Real Betis.
Without a contract, would he be a free transfer? seems like a loss if so.
1.) 24 Apr 2025 12:48:32
Yes a free.
2.) 25 Apr 2025 10:54:11
Good . we need far better af LB in EPL
Firpo done well going forward. in lower level Champo
BUT he is hopeless at defending. was an absolute liability in EPL 2021 to 2023.

Joshua Guilovogi should be employed as an ambassador for Leeds. He has a great personality, a decent and respected time during his football career and seems to love Leeds.
He has brought one, maybe two players to Leeds thanks to his recommendation
Leeds, HIRE THIS MAN!
1.) 02 Jul 2025 16:15:09
I said that a few weeks ago MoT.
2.) 02 Jul 2025 17:14:33
You're ahead of the curve, Bri and I agree with you.
They should hire him.
3.) 03 Jul 2025 00:09:53
Has he retired now?
13 Jun 2025 19:51:58
Firpo gone.
Thanks for all of your efforts, Junior. I was always a fan and thanks for sticking with us, taking a pay cut and helping with out promotion.
All the best in the future.
1.) 13 Jun 2025 21:19:14
I haven't seen this news, but I totally agree. He knuckled down for us and deserves his move back to his first live (I am assuming he's off to Real Betis)
2.) 13 Jun 2025 21:28:33
Yeah back to Betis to join Roca and Lorente. Apparently the Joseph rumour is just that and Betis won't pay £8 million and we won't sell for lower.
Real Betis will soon be singing "marching on together" with how many ex Leeds players they have.
3.) 13 Jun 2025 21:30:02
He was very iffy in the Prem, but an excellent season last season. All the best to him.
4.) 13 Jun 2025 21:59:00
Never been a LB and not sure he’s actually a LWB. We definitely need a LB in the PL. He had a massive input in us being promoted so sad to see him move on but think it is probably the right decision. Believe he was on big wages, if that’s true it will help with who we can get in.
5.) 14 Jun 2025 08:58:14
Bit harsh pudding, but I understand the pov. As a wing back, many teams would have him if that's the system they play. Betis weren't the only team in for him for that reason. Pleased you still appreciate his promotion contribution nonetheless!
6.) 14 Jun 2025 09:22:03
I agree with Pudd, in that I never saw him as a bonafide LB. Possibly a LW who has been picked as a LWB in order to get an extra attacker into the side.
And in the Premier League we are going to need more defensive nous across the board, not just LB.
I think it works in our favour that his contract has rundown as I don't believe anyone would have begrudge him a spot at LB in the PL after last seasons performances. However I think he would have been our achilles heel and our lasting impression of him would be of the guy who couldn't hack it in the PL instead of the amazing LWB who helped us lift silverware.
(To me Vinny Jones is an Elland Rd legend. he was outstanding as we gained promotion, but wasn't what was needed for Leeds in the first division. and no I am not Vinny's publicist I am just an old guy with a few examples) .
Sorry for a long text, but on the subject of Leeds needing to improve defensively all round. it boiled my head that pundits go on about Burnley's defence should be able to cope with the rigours of the Premiership just because they got the defensive record in the Championship! I really hope Parker believes that nonsense too as that will be one team we sit above at the end of the season. rant done, thank you gor listening.
7.) 14 Jun 2025 09:39:18
Firpo did his job for us when he was here. More so last season than most. Great player.
Burnley will be crucified in the prem because they will play a back 5 and score none.
8.) 14 Jun 2025 10:04:42
Good luck to firpo in his new club. I knew that he would come good for us when he got past the injuries and played consistently. I think he was helped defensively by our dominance of games and have struijk or amps covering him.
But he was solid going forward this season.
Adios junior!
9.) 14 Jun 2025 10:16:37
Totally agree Axe, comparing anything from Champo to Prem is just silly,
Prem will punish mistakes unmercifully, where as average players get by by in champo .
Burnley like ourselves will find it very tough next season, it's just all about recruitment now, who can find the right players, and let's hope we don't sign new BA's or Razzys or Llorentes, really poor players for Prem.
10.) 14 Jun 2025 10:29:04
Agreed Chris
Last time promoted we had a different manager, a different recruitment 'team', a different financial strategy.
This time round I hope to see a much more pragmatic strategy.
11.) 14 Jun 2025 12:12:03
They will also lose their GK and arguably best CB too (out of contract, new one rejected, off to Marseilles I think) and having had agreements in place for the loans to buy they took on board, will no doubt struggle to spend much more than they're already committed to. Bottom line is they're screwed. Bottom place battle with black cats!
12.) 14 Jun 2025 13:57:26
100 bright.
13.) 14 Jun 2025 13:59:07
Black cats likely already spent a large chunk of Bellingham money on Le Fee.
14.) 14 Jun 2025 19:37:47
Not the best but had a great season and got us back where we belong. Fair play and all the best.
04 Jun 2025 15:22:17
Some terrible news that will impact all Leeds fans.
I can't believe I have to type this horrible words.
Take a seat, this is a difficult one.
Victor orta has been sacked.
1.) 04 Jun 2025 16:08:37
??????? quite pleased.
2.) 04 Jun 2025 16:58:58
2nd great news we've had on this site in recent weeks??.
3.) 04 Jun 2025 17:21:43
Loveaway days is preparing his speech as we speak ?
Quiet zee fan of Victor was he
V.
4.) 04 Jun 2025 17:21:51
I'm glad I was seated when you told me MoT:) ) ) ) ) ) ) )
5.) 04 Jun 2025 20:49:06
I expect that his best mate Baz will be replacing him.
6.) 04 Jun 2025 23:02:00
Orta's crying now ?.
7.) 05 Jun 2025 11:46:23
I was a fan of his commitment Chris as I always said you didn’t see how hard he worked or desperately wanted to succeed. I never said he was the great DOF of all time. Just seemingly had his hands tied at Leeds united. I overheard him calling Angus a coward and saying you are protecting your job not this club, stand up for Leeds united not your paycheck. When I heard that I know his heart was always in the right even if his decisions weren’t.
Alf is clearly part of the club or knows someone high up as he seems to get info before me and I’m practically part of the club, ask anyone and they all loved victor and his passion. Not many victor haters inside the club or atleast that was my view of it until it started to fall apart.
8.) 05 Jun 2025 13:19:23
Interesting love away days. I know the people at the top of borough thought the same of him.
Personally I thought he did ok at leeds, his ones for the future saved this club with the profit they made so he did something right.
For me when left on his own devices he made good buys when others got involved they were more miss than hit.
9.) 05 Jun 2025 14:17:58
If that's what makes you feel better than LADays continue telling yourself that?
I certainly remember you taking me too task on how good Victors contacts book was .
And how efficient he was as D. O. F ?
S.
10.) 05 Jun 2025 14:51:44
Good post away days. The truth is never really known. But someone always take the blame. Anyway. Behind us now. But I found your and bermo post interesting.
11.) 05 Jun 2025 15:42:58
Alf. Does your opinion differ to awaydsays?
12.) 05 Jun 2025 17:36:57
Very good, and reasonable response LAD! He is a very emotional guy, and passionate, and I also liked that part of him.
13.) 06 Jun 2025 11:03:43
Cheers aus.
14.) 06 Jun 2025 11:04:47
And agree orta is up for debate and probably not the greatest however moving forward what’s not up for debate is how good our new lot are! Bright and exciting times ahead.
15.) 06 Jun 2025 11:50:55
100% right Bermo!
16.) 06 Jun 2025 15:11:27
He's that good that he got sacked twice. You don't understand, it's not his fault.
????
Pull the other one.
02 Jun 2025 20:42:26
Are we going to start next season losing a bunch of decent players and struggling to bring in new blood, again?
1.) 02 Jun 2025 21:26:29
I doubt it Mo! We will have our real targets lined up, I'm sure! As others have said, I don't think many of our actual signings will have been pinged by the media.
2.) 03 Jun 2025 06:53:57
Pretty much every single player that the media has targeted us as possibly signings will almost certainly not be happening.
Possible first team player departures could be Meslier, Firpo and Aaronson, but then again it’s possible that neither of them will be leaving?
For obvious reasons the club doesn’t usually announce its targets before buying.
3.) 03 Jun 2025 09:06:50
Don't expect anything to happen in this first mini-window in terms of us bringing players in, we are currently getting a better idea of who is available and awaiting some of the clubs who need to sell to make some moves. If there is an opportunity for one of our targets we will act on it but we are further down the pecking order than many clubs so frustratingly it will be a bit of a waiting game for us.
4.) 03 Jun 2025 10:26:42
To be fair, the most recent signings and loans have been excellent, and reasonable to assume that bigger clubs plans will have to take place before we can secure our own targets.
5.) 03 Jun 2025 12:00:48
We have to trust recruitment they’ve been spot on, our signings also come from out of no where so ignore rumours
As for losing a keeper to Brentford that’s fair enough they are an established team
I think let’s wait and see things play out, I’m very confident which as a leeds fan doesn’t happen often.
6.) 03 Jun 2025 16:39:27
That's a fair shout Bermo. Rectruitment has been mint and I do believe we will sign some unknown bangers for pennies from smaller african and oriental clubs.
24 May 2025 18:02:25
Sunderland pulling a Leeds moment. Congrats Watson.
Sheff utd pulling a Leeds moment. Unlucky, Wilder. Let's see if you've got the goods to rebuild a team and win the cup next season.
1.) 24 May 2025 19:46:58
Great result, definitely not a fan of wilder.
06 Jul 2025 14:26:14

05 Jul 2025 16:33:46
Some big names coming, aren't they?
30 Jun 2025 13:38:57
There's more cups to go at this season and a more intensive schedule. Bulking out every area of the park and have extra bodies makes good business sense.
We're not just after one title this season.
03 Jul 2025 18:23:16
Something big is coming vid. And not just your Guinness pancake.
9th/ 10th July, is my guess for a big striker.
03 Jul 2025 11:46:44
Perfect Bermo!
03 Jul 2025 11:35:33
Thanks, Danny.
We are looking at the season ahead, 49ers have a five year plan. If Sunderland blow their load and are relegated they're screwed. We should know, we did it 20 years ago!
Tanaka was a bargain bin signing. I have no complaints with rummaging in that bin.
03 Jul 2025 11:32:50
Sunderland haven't signed strikers? That means they'll be taking our targets again then.
03 Jul 2025 06:29:44
The big game changers are coming soon. Let the other teams blow their budget while we keep patient.
