Cannot accept we cannot find someone better than DF that’s just too depressing for a Monday!

Looking at the table, it generally does not lie, especially after a dozen games, in which we’re on par (ahead of saints) with all three of the promoted teams who were relegated last season.

Squad wise we’re on a par with the teams we sit alongside in the relegation spots, probably could add West Ham in terms of having a similar poor squad.

But from a coaching perspective it’s not a coincidence that the weakest coaches in the epl all are currently managing the bottom three teams.

Some people have previously said Le Bris and Andrews may yet be of equal quality, time will tell.

Sorry I don’t buy DF is as good as it gets for us, Palace were 15th having lost 10 of 17 games after Roy Hodgson brilliant rescue act to keep them up the previous season.

Steve Parish said Palace have no money to talk off so “must be smart” like picking up Eze and Olise from championship and making them superstars.

And the game changer was the brilliant appointment of Glasner from Eintract Frankfurt (ex Red bull football) and with very little spend he’s turned Palace from perennial relegation fodder to major trophies and conference league football and that’s with losing his main stars year on year!

PSR and the obvious chasm between the financial clout of the top six clearly shows the ONLY way you can hope to bridge the divide is with the appointment of a really good ambitious but technically strong coach who wants to prove himself in the biggest league in world football.

Bournemouth and Palace are living proof of it being the only chance to make the next step and how it snowballs from the manager.

Glasner’s contract is up this year the 49ers should offer him a kings ransom, but of course we won’t because we’ve lucked out again with owners, I fear.

Both 49ers and Radz before them have never broken ground on improving the stadium, lots of talk, promises but have not increased capacity/ revenue, before we are established in the epl for two seasons.

Birmingham meanwhile hold my beer, let’s build a £1.2billion mega stadium and let’s submit plans now whilst we’re still in the championship!

One version is doing something as cheaply as possible with the option to flip a sale the latter one is billion pounds of investment that says we’re in it for the long term.

Both American owners but actions speak louder than words.

Agree12 Disagree0

Just to let anyone else who didn't know, the cacophony of boos yesterday when sky cameras stopped rolling told Farke, fans don't want him or Brendan anymore .

Farke out.

24 Nov 2025 15:20:52
Great post Class.

I’d love to know where the money from the sales last summer and the red bull money has all gone.

The stadium stuff doesn’t have any impact on PSR so I’m lost as to how we can only spend £100m.

I mean, sell the naming rights to Thorpe Arch and generate a tonne of cash for a January assault. Be a waste of cash though given the crap recruitment team and tactically inept coach we have at the helm.

I’ve actually got to a point where I hate Farke, his drivel on talk sport today about Brendan’s mental health effected by the fans wanting him subbed off is him just deflecting again from his own inept ability to read a game and a reflection of his toilet level in game management.

I also feel like we’ve somehow managed to get lumbered with another false dawn regarding the owners.

We are a laughing stock to other fans and I’m sick of it always happening to my club.

24 Nov 2025 15:47:42
There are too many happy clappers online and in the stands that won't let the Farke out'ers to get too vocal.

Farke has gaslit the gullible fans and we can only hope the inept, useless, clueless 49ers change as quickly as possible.

Though I'm not holding out hope as Farke should have been flushed weeks ago.

24 Nov 2025 16:14:26
Maybe we should take a leaf from Wendies fans and no one turn up for the Chelsea match. That would get the 49ers attention.

24 Nov 2025 18:39:57
My seat is in the West Stand, and the facilities in there have hardly changed since the 1960s. I had to sit in the Cheese Wedge for a cup tie a couple of seasons ago, and it made the West Stand look like the new Spurs stadium! We all love Elland Road, but it is a ground stuck in the past.

The new plans look really impressive, but that's what they are, just plans. I hope I am wrong, but I can't see the 49rs doing anything about it.

25 Nov 2025 00:12:21
Don’t consider myself as you put it Mot, a happy clapper nor a gullible Leeds fan and judging by the huge outpouring of Farke out on this forum I would say that there are not many of us Leeds fans who would prefer Farke to stay and see his job through.
Just because the majority of Leeds fans are clamoring feverishly for Farke to be sacked immediately, it definitely doesn’t mean we will stay up with another coach nor does it mean that Farke will not keep us up if he stays.
In fact with the players we have I can not see any other coach doing anything better than what Farke is already doing.

I find it really curious and strange that so many on here believe we should be doing a lot better and be placed further up the league than we are, especially with the distinct lack of quality in our squad.
In my opinion it is clear as day the difference in quality when we play against teams like Villa, they don’t even have to get out of second gear to get a result against us.
So what makes so many fans believe we are a lot better than we are? and the only thing that’s holding us back is Daniel Farke!?

25 Nov 2025 06:15:49
OP not surprised to hear you say that
I put forward complete opposite is what most fans believe.
I. woupd say 99% of fans on here knew it was going to be a. total battle all Seez

Its your belief only that we felt table or higher was possible

I. said. it. too you here in July what we had bought was going to make our survival even harder, you disagreed

Lewin has been a disaster, you disagreed then, I also questioned Okafor, can't remember your stance on him . Lewin makes even Numchuck look like Harry Kane

So. again I reiterate I certainly knew what was heading our way . Farke has lost it OP, . have you been at ER recently to hear fans reaction to him during games?

Whatever chance we have is diminishing with each extra game Farke +. Underwood stay here

Out. out. out.

25 Nov 2025 07:45:05
Happy clappers. Thanks, Baz, or are you the other one? Let's avoid going down that route again, eh?

25 Nov 2025 08:00:03
I’ve read fans posts on this forum Chris that thought we would be changing for a European place this season.
I don’t come on this forum to be in a competition of who’s right or wrong about their predictions. It doesn’t interest me in the slightest bit, sure Îve said some things that haven’t worked out but so has everyone else including yourself.

My opinion is and no opinion on here is correct, is that the 49er’s chose Daniel Farke over the summer to be the coach this season and i think given with what he has to work with, which is very challenging in the respect of quality, is the right decision to do the job of keeping us in the premiership.

Whining and whinging that we should of bought better players is just a waste of breath as far as I’m concerned when it’s pretty obvious we could not afford or attract good quality players to our club over the summer.

Chris you can make this story into a, I was right all along if you wish but I won’t be taking that bait to get involved.

I’m just writing my opinions on here, I’m not asking you to agree with it and you have the choice to just skip over my posts if you wish.

I won’t hold it against you I promise ?.

25 Nov 2025 08:38:38
OP, see this is what irks. me. to a degree with you at times, I CERTAINLY not claiming oh I am right. your. wrong, na na. na

What I am replying to is at times you do come. across as you being slightly superior and a bit condescending

Telling us all what an awful lot of. ys. took for. granted already

Then you seem to change narrative then when tide turns on earlier comments

That's fine as you say, we can all make mistakes, but you do come across a bit aloof in your delivery of change in opinions then

Obviously I know nothing about you in reality, all I can comment on is what I read

You also asked, who else could we get

Well using that logic, we would still be with Neil Warnock

No one knew Iraola or Glasner
No 1 here anyway I assume.

25 Nov 2025 09:57:36
I’m sorry that you think my posts are aloof and condescending. I’m nobody’s mate on here, I don’t know anyone, not even their real name, that Is why perhaps I don’t come across as your mate or someone you know in the sense of how I write my posts.
It’s just a sterile non attached way if you like of delivering my posts on this forum.
If I met you face to face our conversation would be completely different, I can guarantee you that.

Concerning Iraola, we applied for his services at our club and he turned the offer down if you remember.
Everyone wants now a Iraola / Glasner type coach, great, go and find him if you can, then try to convince him to come and join a newly promoted, relegation fodder football team.

I’m always one for hoping and dreaming for better days, but my feet are firmly planted in the ground with the understanding of what we have got and what we don’t have and not likely to get.

If posters like you Chris and others feel irked by my posts then don’t be, please understand that this is a internet football forum where I enjoy to post my opinions about our football club and also read other Leeds fans opinions even if they contradict mine.
I say if you believe in your opinion about our club that's great, stick with it.

There is no all knowing football oracle on this forum that I can promise you. Not even Berm.

25 Nov 2025 10:20:58
Also I’ve never swayed from my opinion on Farke being our coach, so I don’t know where you’ve found that from?

We are in a very similar position as we were with Bielsa. Obviously two different coach’s but the same rhetoric was being bleated out like he’s stubborn and only sticks to plan A etc etc.
I didn’t want Bielsa to leave because I thought he would manage to keep the club up, just like Marsch did, by the skin of our teeth.
With some better players the next season it could of been more promising than the catastrophe that Marsch led us into the next season.
Getting rid of Farke now will in my opinion sign our fate for relegation and a very uncertain future in the championship.
One that I refuse to subscribe to.

25 Nov 2025 11:07:43
I use Iraola as an example, obviously we supposedly tried to get him

So, yes they're out there, these unheard of managers

I just cannot except your logic that if Farkes removed we are finished

I suppose just same way you don't accept others that if Farkes. stays we are finished
On your delivery style

Yes of. course we don't know one another, but I always try to be respectful, regardless of said fact

I.

25 Nov 2025 13:15:06
Defo NOT aloof OR condescending. If anything, OP has spent most of his time on here being told that he's talking absolute cack, and then getting the brunt of personal insults (tho not from current posters) .
There is however a structure and approach to his posts which isn't overtaken by emotion, flow logically, and are quite matter of fact.

I can only guess that this is being misinterpreted.
Clearly there's a conflict of opinion, which is fine, but there's not much wrong with his explanations behind his reasoning and opinion in my view.

25 Nov 2025 14:31:18
Many thanks for that Bright, kind and understanding words from you.
It’s the world we live now, text messages with or without the assistance of emojis can often be misinterpreted to friends even.

You are respectful Chris and I don’t have an issue with you at all. It’s a banter site and I accept strong responses to any post of my opinions.

I try to find the ground in my opinions that are not saturated by the overall opinion of fans. The complexities of football and its management is probably beyond anything you can possibly imagine. A manager’s existence these days "is" the most expendable in football today. Do I think that is correct? No I don’t.

The baying mob with the media and the content creators stirring the emotions of fans, owners often succumb to a decision they do not want make.

The success rate of flipping your coach for newly promoted teams to the premiership will get smaller and smaller in a very short time. The last two seasons have shown already that difficulty and gap is increasing rapidly.

Farke contrary to what others might think, in my opinion has made a reasonable start to this season and although we have some tough matches coming up, there is a possibility of still sticking to the target of a point a game.
The other strugglers will also have to play very tough games, let’s not forget that.

25 Nov 2025 17:25:18
I understand the pains and frustrations in Class’s opening post but you can’t hide from the fact and reality of where we are.
In reference to Roy Hodgson, he still had very decent quality players to work with and I’m certain Oliver Glasner would not of come to Palace if he had a squad like ours.

A little more understanding should be given to Daniel Farke with what he has to work with.
I have I imagine far less expectations of how this season will pan out for us compared to many others and I am able to appreciate and understand the difficulty of where we are and what is realistically achievable.

None of us want to see Leeds Utd relegated again, but the cold hard truth is that it is very likely as a promoted team.

Hard relentless work as a team is our only hope. A United Leeds and that includes the fans is paramount in our survival this season.
Division and sackings will be our ruin.
