Try playing roulette on a bad night.

Out of curiosity MoT, what's the timeframe for those numbers?

12 Jan 2026 23:04:55
BTW 7 out of 37 is 19%.

13 Jan 2026 01:29:17
10 out of 44 since year 2000 apparently.

13 Jan 2026 04:02:31
No it’s not jr.

13 Jan 2026 05:56:16
Genuinely don't know JR. 37 years is my guess.

13 Jan 2026 08:06:19
Aus, I confess to not being good at lots of things, but I earned a living for 40 years as a data analyst, and that calculation is mathematically correct. I'd love to know how anyone might come up with a different answer.

13 Jan 2026 08:36:03
Just jesting jr. thought we might get a bit of. Oh yes it is going ?.

13 Jan 2026 11:48:46
Oh no you didn't. ???.

13 Jan 2026 11:56:47
Probably less than 37 because if (like this year) we get to round 4 we play 2, round 5 play 3 and so on, but no matter, I was just curious.

13 Jan 2026 12:30:44
Just looked back, and when we were drawn away to Peterborough in the 3rd round in 2023 it was our 13th away draw in a row, the first time it had ever happened in FA cup history. We finally broke the sequence being drawn at home to Plymouth in round 4 that year. The odds on that happening were 8,192 to 1!

13 Jan 2026 12:56:31
Genuinely not sure, JR. My message wasn't meant to be arsy, if it came off like that, I just saw the stat and thought I would share for the laugh.

13 Jan 2026 13:28:36
Oh yes I did. ??
We covered 8,192 to 1 before mate. You new here lol
?.

13 Jan 2026 14:07:21
Mo, you certainly come as arsy to me, this was just you just repeating something you'd seen, and me wondering if there was any more. Nowt to fall out about. UTWDTP.

13 Jan 2026 16:37:34
Only 2 balls left in and we still came out second!

13 Jan 2026 18:08:33
The last time we were last out of the hat was the season when we beat Man U; remarkably, it happened in the next round against Spurs [2-2] which went to a replay at Elland Road [1-3].

It always amazes me with the draws, in all domestic cups that Man City get home ties against [really] lower division sides? Perhaps statistically, they don't, but it always feels that way! [repeat for Liverpool and Arsenal! ].
