Looking like Muniz is off to Atlanta. Shame.
12 Aug 2025 11:07:40
If so, will they hurry up about it, so we can completely move on from a target that we’ve wasted far too much time on already, having always been likely to attract attention from at least one club that could offer European football.
12 Aug 2025 11:08:25
Looking that way Alf.
There’s so many striker out there, Underwood and Co need to get aggressive like we were told they were going to be.

Leeds just don't appear to have enough pulling power whether that's money or the prospect of a relegation battle I don't know but the owners really need to get at least one new face for Everton to raise the spirits of what is fast becoming a disillusioned fan base at our lack of new forward signings and I think if we don't get Dovbyk and he goes to Sunderland instead serious questions about our recruitment strategy need to be asked.
12 Aug 2025 11:35:12
Spot on Cheshire. So far they have failed us and Farke. Simple.
12 Aug 2025 11:39:47
A relegation battle is a tough sell certainly when the likes of OM and Atalanta can offer European football.
12 Aug 2025 12:00:52
Maybe Sunderland still have some slack in the FFP but if they did buy Dovbyk it would push their spending to about £180m. I think any additions to their squad will be loans or loan to buy.
I think all the promoted clubs are eyed as relegation contenders but after winning the Championship with Sunderland way behind we should have better pulling power. That we don't comes down to either what we offer financially or how we sell the project at ER-or maybe both.

It’s underwood he has no ties no contacts he’s. An academy manager and should go back to doing what he is good at.
12 Aug 2025 12:41:45
It seems the recruitment team just can’t sell the project.
Have they enough passion when it comes to it?
Bill Fotherby was a man who could sell Leeds United to a player because of his passion for the club. Players need to feel wanted and maybe Underwood n co just can’t sell it.

Quite right Corkey. I've mentioned this some time ago but when Vidic arrived at Manchester airport for discussions about a transfer he couldn't believe that Alex Ferguson personally met him and carried his case to his car. He said it wasn't the only reason for signing but the talks immediately got off to a good start. They may need to be pampered and made to feel important but its just how the lifestyle of these very highly paid athletes has gone.

Think this window has proved the owner and management team are inept. They don’t understand prem football and are also void of passion and sales skills. Even if we get a striker or winger or am. Def not on their original exhausted list. Doing deals in his sleep. What a tosser. Live and die on your sword mate. Time will tell. But it ain’t looking good.
12 Aug 2025 13:55:03
Totally agree about Fotherby, sold the club took them round Leeds totally looked after them the man had real passion and enthusiasm.
12 Aug 2025 14:07:37
I'm glad we dodged him. £50 million for a fourth place bench warmer for a mid table side?
I know inflation has caused things to get expensive but GFd ?.

I’m with aus.
12 Aug 2025 14:53:22
Our problem is we are a massive club but that's fan based only, we have to understand that our beloved Leeds is not the club we once were. I know we will be again but potential signings and agents don't see that according to them we are a yo-yo club. If we can remain in the premiership for 26/ 27 season they will start to see our potential and better players will become dare I say easier to sell ourselves to.

“What a tosser”
Aussie ???.

That’s a big ask Oldbri.
