Going up for my first game this season tomorrow, can't wait. Ill be in the moot hall pub of you fancy a pint.
Apparently 2 big announcements tomorrow, fans told to take their seats for 245, then another at half time. What do you reckon that's about? Stadium planning!

Agree Alf. Only got there about 5 times in my life and got goosebumps every time I saw the pitch. Might have one more visit in me. Maybe.
I think one announcement is naming me honourably member of the board. Not sure of the other.

I'm hoping one is a wilko statue, about the only thing I agreed with one of the departed ones on! If not that, then an Eddie statue will do!

Went to nearly every home game (and quite a few away) from 1956 through to 1982 when we were relegated and simultaneously increased season ticket prices. Since then have only been occasionally even though I only live 4 miles away. Nowadays I'm pretty much a full time carer for my wife who suffers from Parkinson's disease, so follow games on the radio and watch them through later on LUTV. Most memorable match attended, Wembley 1972 (Clarke one nil) , most disappointing match, Paris 1975, most memorable season 1973-74, we were champions, and MU were relegated, best player John Charles, best goal Eddie Gray v Burnley April 1970 I was about 30 yds away at the end of the old scratching shed - now the cheesewedge corner, honourable mention Jamie Forrester v Man U, FA Youth cup final 2nd leg 1993.
