It's reported that Farke didn't include piroe in last match day squad cause there was no Room for him. Not cause of injury. But he included Namecheck instead of piroe. Plus 3 goalies.
I'm scratching my head to remember when 3 goalies were needed in one game. Surely piroe over 3rd choice goalie.

Which match are you talking about here Aus? The squad for the Wolves game shows both Piroe and Nmecha but only one reserve goalie - Meslier. The squad for the Fulham game lists Piroe as having a calf injury but includes Nmecha and again only one reserve goalie, Meslier. l.

Koch. How many times in the history of football have three gk been needed. Who are more likely injured? Gk or strikers? Generally in a game of football do strikers or gk have more one on one confrontations which could end in injury? I was wrong with my original post. Honest mistake.

Can’t remember it happening for a long long while but come to think of it. Back in the day if two goalies were injured or sent off, an outfield player put on the gloves. That resulted in an entertaining end to the game. Some were pretty good too. That must have been when they only used two on the bench. Anybody remember the last time our 3rd choice goalie got on the pitch?
