What if Rutter isnot fit? / many speculations but how about Roberts in at RB and Archie pulling the strings instead of Gino?

For me Leodis it would be a straight swap for Piroe. He could do with a moral boosting appearance and with it a goal or two which would be very welcome ??.

I think you’re right Woody as I think Piroe’s stronger (physically) than putting Summerville in at 10, although Jimmy would create more, scare them more.
And we have plenty on the wings with Gnonto and DJ but I think Piroe will get the nod.
Most importantly hope we don’t risk Gio unless we are absolutely certain he’s fit to play, better to miss the one game than the rest of the season.

and DJ in particular tracks back very well too
Big NO to starting Piroe. we may lose if we start him.
Leeds are more defensively susceptible to conceding when Piroe plays. as he does not track back that much / nor defend effectively when Leeds don't have ball.
I believe all SIX of Leeds United away defeats Piroe has started.

It would be interesting to see how Bamford and Piroe link together as I don't think we have seen that combo yet.

The thing is Baz, while I understand what you’re saying, the question is then, what is Piroe doing at Leeds? He has to get some playtime because he will just drift into the reserves and I don’t want to see that as I think he has a lot to offer, he can score but like you say he has problems tracking back and his passing leaves something to be desired, but back to match practice makes perfect mate, he’s got goals in him, if he’s picked then he needs to make it count because it would help in Georginio’s recovery, as Class so rightly said we can’t rush him back. A good Piroe gives us lots of options which is what we need ??.

If Piroe starts as target man up front then he has no need to track back. Bamfordinho can play off him.

ILK . Piroe was the " support striker" to Rutter in five of those defeats
Sunderland Stoke Southampton Preston West Brom.
Bamford was on bench in every match.
To win AWAY Leeds needs PACE on counter attack especially.
I would not start slow Piroe at all, even up front.
Speedy DJ, WG and CS must ALL start to win a MUST WIN match along with Bamford up top.
Piroe on bench.
Hopefully DF doesn't farke it up.

What Baz says. Piroe is a sub. Doesn't bring to the team what others do. He's a confusing player because he's neither a 9 nor a 10.

JP will get the nod obviously, given that where he is regularly subbed on. I reckon he will get 60 mins, before Archie switches into there, and Roberts comes on at RB. This is what will happen if Gio isn’t fit in time. (I think he will be fit; he’s a young lad, and the procedure was supposedly just a couple of internal stitches to close a vary small hernia) .
Is that what we would want to see? Probs not. JP and Gio are totally different players, but each with something to offer. JP can hit the target for starters! ??.
