Glen Kamara is the first midfielder Opta has on record to complete 95%+ of his passes in seven consecutive Championship appearances

95% v Birmingham
95% v Cardiff
100% v Preston
97% v Norwich
95% v Bristol City
100% v Rotherham
96% v Swansea.

Some stat that! ?.

17 Feb 2024 21:44:02
I can’t seem to verify this stat, but someone has posted that the earliest any Leeds team has won 10 games at the start of the calendar year is March the 10th, until today.

17 Feb 2024 22:31:54
That is some stat ani if it's correct!

17 Feb 2024 22:44:39
Excellent passer of the football is Kamara (as is Gruev) .

They have formed a very effective winning midfield partnership!

Areas for improvement? More Assists currently 3 and 1 respectively; chipping in with a few goals especially the more advanced Kamara would be very welcome also.

17 Feb 2024 22:58:09
Here's a stat for you Ani ?

Regrettably Ipswich ( aka " Never Gonners " ) with a game in hand are just a mere 3 points behind Leeds United

They also have 2 home bankers in next 6 days?

What odds they be 2nd come next Sat evening?

17 Feb 2024 23:31:28
Do you remember the Rangers fan who came on the Leeds site to say if Leeds buy him they will get a lot more than what they will pay for him, or words to that effect.
Kamara for me is proving that by every game he plays.

18 Feb 2024 07:48:54
More likely Southampton will be second Baz, with their two home bankers?

18 Feb 2024 09:01:08
Hey Baz, here’s a stat for you…. Baz excretes the most number of tedious posts by this time of the season!

For the record, just to help your comprehension skills as there is an element of under achievement, I “predicted” that Ipswich were no longer going to finish in the automatic positions and that they were gone from that race. I made that claim when Leeds were a significant number of points behind them (Southampton, even further behind) and if Leeds had any chance of getting 2nd, Southampton were the team to beat. Now, at the same time, I asked you for your predictions and you said Ipswich would finish 3rd, which (to help you) that means, that you, also believed Ipswich were not going to finish in the “Autos, ” and they were going to lose their early season form and, by implication, they were going to drop a significant number of points. So what name should we attach to your prediction, since we essentially made the same one?

So, as tedious as it is for you, we both made the same claim!

For the record, you also said Leeds could not achieve automatic promotion, but yet every day, you say Leeds must?

18 Feb 2024 09:19:46
Ani post of the decade mate…. If opta did stats on nonsense baz would be the messi of it.

18 Feb 2024 10:59:45
I think everyone knows that Baz! s predictions and forecasts do change a little more than often throughout the season to suit his ever changing agenda concerning our club.
Think we can all just smile and move on. ?.

18 Feb 2024 11:48:59
Ani a lot of words to try to justify your gaff of the semantics of "Ipswich have gone "

Gone : ie finished, washed uo, spent, weak and faint

Which is clearly anything but . ny this time next week Ipswich wull likely have won 4 matches in row and could be 2nd

Sorry fella but you goofed.

18 Feb 2024 11:51:41
Berma don't be bitter .

its ok you might really be the self proclaimed Oracle one day if you really try .

but on reflection. no chance.

18 Feb 2024 11:56:37
OP only a few minor changes of predictions

People can revise opinions dependent on changing situations/ circumstances you know; it is permitted

Ever changing agenda OP? Silly comment

That will be just my ONE agenda OP; wanting Leeds for past 60 years to be sucessful as possible

Cheers.

18 Feb 2024 13:09:47
So zBaz. in your world Ipswich maintain their form, don't bottle it, but still manage to give up 15 points to Southampton and miss out on automatic promotion. Both sides of the coin, no wonder no one takes your predictions seriously.

18 Feb 2024 13:50:59
Ani. Southampton losing just once in 25 games or so is extraordinary .

Fact is Ipswich themselves have not gone

Goofed Ani.

18 Feb 2024 14:09:17
Perhaps they haven't gone Baz, though acquiring points at a rate 40% lower since they played Leeds says otherwise. At the rate they are acquiring points v the other 3 teams in the chase, on current form, they will have given up nearly 30 points by the end of the season.

For Ipswich to be in second, that means Leeds will be dropping points against Leicester and Huddersfield; is that your new forecast for this week?

18 Feb 2024 14:43:36
Ani a little bit of sense from you finally acknowledging that Ipswich have NOT 'gone'

Ipswich play their game in hand during the week and if they win that and Saturday game

unless Leeds beat Leicester. the Gonners will be ahead of Leeds

Hudderfield vs Leeds is week after Ani. keep up ? ?

By next Saturday evening Saints 2nd Ipswich 3rd Leeds 4th? . hopefully NOT though.

Hi Optimist. I posted on here a few months ago saying that Glen had a bit of a falling out with us (Rangers) for whatever reason, and that Leeds were getting a top player. I've watched a few games and have to say he has been superb so far. And the crucial thing is that when Leeds get to the top flight Glen will slot right in the same way. He played against top European sides during our recent runs and always stood out for us.

As I said in my last post, my English team has always been Leeds and used to love watching them during the Revie years when you had the likes of Mick Jones, Allan Clarke and Eddie Gray etc. Looking forward to seeing the lads back in the top flight next season. Who knows, with us going top of the SPFL this afternoon, there may be a double celebration. We already have the LC in the bag, now only the League, The SC and The Europa League to win! All the best lads ??????????.

18 Feb 2024 19:42:34
Seeker, I think most Leeds fans can see that the momentum is right behind us now and there’s a good chance that we will get promoted this season. If so Glen Kamara will be a big influence in us achieving that goal. Got no doubts at all that he’ll slot in and be a very effective player in the Premiership.
Thanks for the positive sentiment and good luck to yourself and Rangers ?.

19 Feb 2024 08:28:56
Cheers Optimist, all the best and look forward to seeing you guys back where you belong next season ??.
