Gonna be a helluva tussle this.
Every game we win I get so excited only to then feel despair when the other two win. Looks like Southampton are matching us in performance quality too. That's a good result for them.

Yep after the euphoria of Saints losing to Bristol City last week, more than a tad deflating to see

Saints beat unimpressive Baggies ( a side Leeds inexplicably have failed twice against this season ) and Gonners thrash Millwall

Plymouth 1 vs Leeds 2 .

Baz. Did you see bamfords stats from 90 minute I posted on discussion page. He is worth playing if he scores but stats ( not my stats. 90 minutes ) he is a passenger otherwise.

Hardly inexplicably Baz; we definitely didn’t get the decisions against the baggies this season. They scored with a handball and lucky rebound.
Anyway, the baggies were very underwhelming tonight; I actually didn’t think the Saints had to play well to beat them (because they didn’t) .
Anyway, plenty twists and turns to come. I have a bad feeling about today; I’ve had it all week. Saying that, I have had similar for most of our recent away games and Leeds have gone on to surprise me. I felt after the cup game that this league match would be a different game altogether.
Personally, I would take a draw today…and that wouldn’t be a bad result in my opinion. Plymouth are the only team to score against us in 2024.

What are the Bamford stats Aus? Is it goals per minutes? If so let's drop Rutter if that's the case, but if not I apologise in advance for the sarcasm. We are a far better team when he plays, there is lots more to his game than just goals.

You are 100% wrong dougie. Rutter Jimmy James all chip in mate. Bamford dosent. If he dosent jam a goal he is worthless. That can’t be said for the others. Open your eyes.

We’ve debated this one to death, and I believe there was a majority verdict in favour of BamBam’s all ‘round contribution to the team, and the fact that, if I recall we have won somat like 16 out of the last 18 games that he has started. More to him than goals, as 95% of people will say!
