Does anyone think DCL offers anything different than Bam Bam?
Bam Bam used to hold the ball up really well and bring others in, as does DCL, but they don't score. So why replace!

I think dcl is worst than bam and coming from me, that’s saying a lot. The bloke has 1 goal in 9 games. Why is he even starting. Piroe and Namecheck should be given a go. I wouldn’t even have dcl on the bench. He even fell over while jogging yesterday.
Nobody around him. Maybe he was drunk? Ba cops some flack but at least he does good things and works hard and occasionally makes errors. Dcl does nothing. Can’t run. Can’t tackle. Can’t control the ball. Can’t shoot. Ridiculous.

I think we should have kept Bamford because we paid him anyway. Not as a replacement for DCL but as a partner.

Went to nearly every home game (and quite a few away) from 1956 through to 1982 when we were relegated and simultaneously increased season ticket prices. Since then have only been occasionally even though I only live 4 miles away. Nowadays I'm pretty much a full time carer for my wife who suffers from Parkinson's disease, so follow games on the radio and watch them through later on LUTV. Most memorable match attended, Wembley 1972 (Clarke one nil) , most disappointing match, Paris 1975, most memorable season 1973-74, we were champions, and MU were relegated, best player John Charles, best goal Eddie Gray v Burnley April 1970 I was about 30 yds away at the end of the old scratching shed - now the cheesewedge corner, honourable mention Jamie Forrester v Man U, FA Youth cup final 2nd leg 1993.

Well moaning is just wasted words Chris, especially now what is done is done. Maybe something comes out of loans, but our strikers are who they are.
Corkey. Solomon may be a big miss, but we have to face facts, he didn’t want to come back to Leeds; he wanted to prove himself to a new manager at a team with Champions League football. It now seems he has failed on that front and sees another chance of European football at Palace.
As for Rama, it’s hard to tell, since he really didn’t get a chance in the championship so who knows how he would have shaped up in the EPL. One things for sure, had Solomon come back he wouldn’t have got a look in, so whilst on paper we have “lost” two players, the reality is, we only lost one. I think Gnonto, Harrison and Okafor are probably better than Rama (imo) . I would have liked Solomon back however.
