Yep, very impressive. Geldhert hat trick including 2 pens, Poveda played a full game and played well as did Beradi. So many good performances. Koch played another 60 mins or so in front of the defence. Greenwood stunning free kick and good midfield performance . Davis played the full game and looked fit and fast again as did Shackleton. Very encouraging for the first team squad and bench! Finished 5-0!

Watched the game and have to say that I think Gelhardt can't be that far off a PL appearance. His attacking play today was far superior to anything Tyler Roberts has offered on his U23 appearances previously (trying to measure like with like at the same level) . I can only imagine Roberts is getting the nod in the PL games due to his more diligent defending and his superior experience. Hopefully we can afford Gelhardt some minutes before the end of the season.
Oh, and BTW, how fast is Leif Davis? What recovery speed.

Davis over Alioski and gurheart over Roberts should be coming soon almost unforgivable if not. that said without injuries I can’t see it happening.

Really looking forward to seeing some of these lads get their first team debut, hopefully sooner than later. One win away from winning the League, a great achievement.

I think Davis has been unlucky with injuries this year that have taken him out of the reckoning at left back and he was caught between the under 23s and the bench for a time. Everyone calling for a new left back when he hasn’t really been given a go. Looked back to his fittest and fastest today. Might see sone action before the end of the season.

Have to say I’m calling for a left back but would be willing to give him a go. Like a few others I think he has a bright future. if they get played.

I believe Davis with a good run of games could be better than Charlie Taylor, heard a couple of people say he’s as quick as any at the club, been unlucky with injuries. His distribution needs work but defensively (hot topic) he’s far superior to Alioski.

I too have been calling for external additions LB/ AM but certainly can't wait for the mathematically safe point when Bielsa can blood a few young guns and potentially save Radz millions.
In view of that I can only think that the time for blooding is near as Radz must be desperate to save a few bob. Make the balance sheet look even stronger.
