Let's not forget that Bielsa is getting £6m a year. So even if we don't go up next season, Newell's Old Boys will benefit again!
Nobody seems to mention his wage when saying we haven't spent a lot. He must be one of the few managers at this level that is on about 4 or 5 times as much as the highest paid players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you need to check those figures Danum it's high but I think you've gone up a tad.

Wex.
I get my info from the internet. Are you telling me not everything on the internet is true! But you know what I'm getting at. I'm sure he's on a lot more than Heckingbottom. I know for definite, he was on ten bob and a bag of pork scratchings a week! 😜.

Believe his salary £3.38m per annum.

28 May 2019 22:47:37
Think it is closer to £4m.

I have seen £2M per year quite consistently since he signed, and that he pays his own staff, also, he pays the fines from the FA/ FL 😁.

Whatever the exact amount, sounds like a bit of investment to me!

I believe Biesla's salary was set at £7.83 per hour.
I remember he had a large celebration on the 1st April this year when his salary rose by 4.9% to £8.21 per hour

However he had a clause set in the contract that he would pay any and all fines accrued by Leeds United FC or any of its staff or players, for the duration of his contract. These fines he could claim back as legitimate expenses off the taxman.
Hence we hear these £2m-£4m-£6m figures bandied about.

As his Creative Accountant I can honestly tell you he is on £8.21/ h. And out of this figure he sends tax deductable donations to a Argentinian sporting charity.

Spanishleeds, agreed, let’s hope it the season to be joyful.

Pft investment Massimo was paying 3 or 4 managers at the same time.

I can't believe we're looking for a negative when it should be a good news story! In MB we trust?

Same here Al heard it was 2mill. Money well spent at the moment. As i have said he now needs the proper tools for the job. Bit of a pointless investment if you do not utilise it properly.

Axe, out of his 8.21 an hour he pays bed and board for his room at Thorpe Arch. So at the end of the day the poor man cannot even afford a dogwalker.

Don't get me wrong I'm ecstatic that he's with us for at least one more season. But let's not kid ourselves. Every manager/ player is in it for the money first, everything else second.
