Aus, I don’t understand why you think it would be more than a 50/ 50 chance to avoid relegation this season anyhow, did you really expect us to do more than be in a relegation scrap?

Good evaluation Aus, and i don't think it could disagree with most of your points. The only point I would say is a little off for me is DF going after the Wolves game. I believe he has 10 games, and I believe there is an expected points tally of 12. This doesn't seem a lot, but over the season, based on this average per game enough to keep up.

Farke went into defensive mode with a 4-3-3 formation by bringing on like for like subs, even though our attack died by doing so, allowing Fulham to walk into final third for last 10+ minutes of the game.
A loss was unlucky but they should have never had that corner.

I think after winning champ and the echoes from the boss men all or a large majority on here thought we were safe. 16 as high as 8 by some. I told my dad. No problem staying up. The only thing that has changed most of not all of our opinion is the disastrous transfer plan and window. Opti.

Cruel, cruel result but cannot believe DF presser after the game in which he said BA was excellent, and I get it’s all about lifting the players but it won’t kid the supporters or the board.
Then he spoke about a lack of individual quality in the side.
Sorry, but PB (yes if fit) has more quality and ability than anyone were saying are our current starting forwards.
It was crazy of DF to make the bamford story so early in the window, his age and salary were always going to be an issue in terms of a sale.
Then there’s Largie what went on there, and is BA truly a better option than Willy.
Every player has to make the leap of the epl but that applies to coaches even more and currently I don’t think DF gets to ten games based on his decision making, why oh why no Harry Gray on the bench even to draw games invariably you must be capable of scoring.

Aus for a championship team our main priority was to beef up our midfield and defense and especially for you a new goalkeeper. If we spent our main whack on that then what more do you want apart from waving a magic wand?

Hindsight, suddenly Bamford becomes our best choice that we let go. He only played about five games last season, is there a little bit of forgetfulness going on here. Paddy was a great servant to us in the past but his footballing career is as good as over.
