So Stuart has been speaking about his injury and recovery whilst commentating on NI.
Stating that he is aiming for the end of the season to be involved playing.
Myself I cannot see dallas making any more meaningful contributions in a leeds shirt.
I am thinking if we go up his contributions would only be as a fill in player at best.
I think like ayling he would be more suited to a lower league where he would get more minutes.
It would be a shame if he can get fit after 2 years to sit on our bench.
I don't like it but I've said it now.

Yep sadly .

SD great servant for LUFC . exceptional in EPL season 20/ 21 his 2 goals to win for 10 man Leeds United to win away at Man City will always be fondly revered.

It would be really fitting if we were already promoted when we play Southampton and maybe he could make a cameo appearance. As Baz says, the performance at Man City will live long in the memory. A fine servant for our club.

In his mind he probably still believes he’s got another good two years at a high level left in him and that could still be in the Premiership. You could always take inspiration from James Milner, never say die and never give up. He was one of our best players in the Prem until he got injured. I hope he makes it.

Yes Baz. Man city game up there with my favourites of all time.
Commentator.
They don’t deserve to lose but they lol.
Brilliant finishing.
Quit Dallas. Coaching for you now buddy.

Milner never had a very serious very long injury ; luckily for him.

After being out for 2 seasons ; Stuart Dallas situation. reminds one of Michael Bridges out for 2 seasons his football career at a top level over.

But hopefully SD can somehow recover.

Fine servant Stuart Dallas grew into his role and
Became a major contributor to the clubs success both on and off the pitch.

Wish him the very best whatever the future holds for him.

Enjoy your stay in Birmingham Aus ?.

In my opinion we saw the best os Stuart under bielsa. Supremely fit and in a dynamic system where he could simply out run his opponents.
I think apart from being 2 years older he will undoubtedly of lost a yard or two. Plus getting match fit after that layoff may cause complications with his injury and throw up new ones.
Prem might be a bridge to far.
I think the comparison with milner is valid to a point their attitude to the game is similar and 100% effort. JM is always been the better player but as has been said has avoided the big injury.
Maybe Stuart would make a good player coach. I assume he has got his badges?

Love Dallas and immense respect for him but when we go up I hope he finds a club where he will play… he deserves that.
