Clearly we'd all prefer a striker who's already proved themselves in the Championship - and it seems the hierarchy wish to loan someone of that Ilk in Che Adams.
If no such player is available, would anyone be content with Mo Eisa or Ivan Toney from Posh - apparently they're desperate for midfielders, so perhaps we could offer O'Kane and Cibicki in exchange - maybe throw in Edmondson on loan too to help bolster their striker options, which Cibicki could do too.

stirkers are a preimum. no one will give away a striker on loan unless they are a very poor striker. trouble we have is bam bam is rightly first choice and not getting outsted and who wants to play second fiddle?
any good striker will cost money making loan the sensible and viable option but after clarke and eddie would teams and players consider a loan option. i think we need to spend big, use edmondson or make do with a second rate forgien import. i think that is the reality of the situation so hopefully bamford stays fit. many slated him but he is now looking indespensable.

Unlikely to get Adams on loan before Forest. Both teams play with one up front but the Forest manager is indifferent to Grabban whilst ours is totally loyal to Bamford and any player will be a backup to him. Southampton will want Adams to start the majority of games.

I think there is better than Bamford out there but not without us spending which is what the hierarchy refuse to do so we are stuck with Bamford. We could definitely get a better goal scorer but if it is just backup then why not use our youth rather than a second rate or very young player?

i agree alf i honestly think the kind of player we are going to realisticly get on loan we might be better with Edmondson, glen murray might be the only decent realistic option but at his age will he have the work rate? maybe not.
