Watched all of last nights game and to sum it up I thought it was boring.
Same old, same old in that we had a lot of the ball but didn't do a lot with it. When we did create the chances we blew them.
Player wise Casilla did well, White looked good with the ball but at times defending him and Coops looked all over the place. Beradi useless and a liability.
Klich covered a lot of ground and just has that ability to do something different. Costa looks a treat. Bamford is not a no9 I think and would be better with 2 up front fir him personally. Bogusz looks exciting.
Our set plays were awful. We took several short corners and free kicks which came to nothing and on the couple of occasions we did knock it into the box the delivery was sh***. I fear because we av got no tall guys we will waste a load of set play opportunities this season.
Last year we were a surprise package and in the second half of the season teams had worked us out and they played against us with their own system which worked. This year we are known and what worries me is that we never change to plan B because we don't av one. I find that amazing. 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 for the last 30 mins or somet different please! Come on MB.
Need a CH, midfielder and CF before window closes. If KP wants out which are the rumours that sell him and get these places filled but let's get sorted!

Ed the leeds team page obviously doesn't get read a lot looking at the posts. I asked my fellow posters some questions but nowt! Can you not just put the posts on the banter page plz?

Agree with most of that Phil apart from Costa. I thought he looked a bit slow and off the pace, maybe even a bit lazy?

I thought white did well, I thought beradi was OK myself, 2nd half I thought Forshaw did well and JC was good when he came on. I never feel we are tippy tappy and passing for the sake of it as we have good movement off the ball.
I'll be honest, Bamford is off the pace at the minute, but he has all the parts of a good striker he could come good, will he though? I love the fact he was still chasing the ball in the 90th minute, that is no mean feat.
Looking forward to the season, never boring following Leeds. Lol

Shutt, JC did look good when he came on, but only for that first move he was involved in, at which point it seemed he was going to be a real game changer, but he with better composure he would have scored from the cut back by Bogusz (Costa would have buried that, and dare I say that Harrison Mark II may well have done so too) and he wasted a great chance to set up someone at the end of the game. I'll give the lad the benefit of the doubt for now in terms of pre-season rustiness, but he will need to improve markedly to get any plaudits from me.
