Foreshaw is a good championship player but he doesn't do anything great. What I mean is he's ok in a defensive role, ok passing and just about ok in an attacking number 10 role. Good player to have on the books but if a good offer comes in?

It’s been exciting for a bit Georgie, well I’ve been excited anyway! With the younger ones coming in, there might be an expectation particularly with Mujica and McCarron, that they will be able to provide other attacking options later in the year for the first team after a good few months with the under 23s. Be interesting what this means for Edmondson and Stevens in particular this year. There has been no mention of Sam Dolby recently but despite coming with high hopes, doesn’t look like he will make it with us. we really do seem to be improving the attacking options across the squads.

Only thing that would disturb me about Forshaw leaving is the rumoured destination. Not sure I like the idea of him going to Fulham, one of our likely rivals for automatic promotion. Far rather he went to somewhere like Barnsley, even if it meant we got less money for him - particularly if we end up sending Halme and Wilks there, as he could help them settle in and be a familiar mentor for the season ahead.

He is a steady player, but if the right offer came in, I would let him go.

He hasn't reached the heights he is capable of with us (mainly due to injuries) so its a difficult one because he can play much better, however, he does seem an injury risk so on that basis I would sell if possible.

We had Sarkic, Dalby, Bhouy, all came with reputations plus a clutch of others who we do not hear of anymore. Although they look like good young prospects a lot can go wrong at that age, ask Wilks. You cannot pin all your hopes on them. They may be no better than what we have will not know till they start playing.
