Paraphrasing here but he said you can't drop points, only gain them and we gained a point which took us a point closer to the top. He'd love to win every game but it's so difficult to win game after game after game. Teams are difficult to play against at this stage as they either have no pressure (secured EFL status) or they're fighting for something (avoid relegation or going for playoffs) .
Said he's respective of Blackburn as he's not sure what team will turn up. Szmodics is in red hot form for them this season and they are dangerous, as seen against Sunderland a couple of weeks back (5-1) thinks they'll be motivated to show a reaction to big midweek loss.
He said everyone from the last game is in good shape and have had a few extra days now to get fully fit. We're in a much better position than midweek (and 10 days ago) in that regard, mentioned Ampadu, Roberts and Gnonto by name.
He understands the nerves from fans but we're in a good position and our form this year has been the best in the league.
In regards to his in-game management he said he and his staff Tey to be self critical but at the end of the day you never really know what intact a player may have at what time. It's important that he trusts his group of players.

Personally, I liked what he said and y mentioned certain players by name I'd assume and hope that means they're in contention to start today. I nothing of note about Bamford and his form this week, so could be telling as he's not defending him as he was at the last presser.

Infers he will keep making late substitutions because they are not aware of impact subs will make and by saying he trusts his players could well mean Bamford again.

I think because he’s said he trusts his players the team selection will be the same or very similar!

Yh true Aus, could interpet it that way too.
Hopefully a few tweaks lads, but if not we must start the game quick and hit them from the off.

I'm happy with those changes. I do think Piroe has contributed well in his recent sub appearances so hopefully he can do the same from the start. He does get goals so hopefully one (or some) today from him.
