Meslier have a very good game against Leicester, several posters on here slagging him of big time lately, not one note of how well he performed after the game.

Agree2 Disagree0

It's certainly better but just one game. Let's see him perform a sheet of cleanliness for a change. He can start with match against ??.

Even though I haven't went in on him here Op, the reverse logic is applicable also, he's had lots of dodgy games and I didn't see you on here neither saying just that

Remind me again why he's a millionaire?

Oh I did Chris, you can scroll back on my very recent posts quoting that he should sit out the Leicester game, but in true style and it shows the character of the young man that he puts in a solid performance.
Let’s not forget Chris his stops alone kept us up last season and although he’s had a poor spell lately it’s also worth considering that he is playing behind the weakest defense in the Premiership.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it his saves between now and the end of this season that will save us from the drop.

It’s a very unforgiving job being a goalie, one or two errors that result in a goal fans find it hard to forgive but if a striker misses a penalty for example it normally is quickly forgotten.
The players are already playing under a lot of pressure, one thing they don’t need is fans getting on their backs unnecessarily. This has got nothing to do with money by the way. On the other hand it probably will be for the players as their salaries will more than likely cut as a result of not playing in the Premiership anymore.

I do agree with your sentiment, as I used that very logic before when a pal o mine called Meslier she-ite, striker miss and it's forgotten.

But equally the point I made of in respects of cash is that the onus should be on him to eradicate his own mistakes which to be fair he has made a fair few of lately,

Meslier has had his confidence shot to pieces by those infront him allowing so many chances that should never have happened. The nett result imo is that he is not sure of things that he was previously sure of. He is anticipating mistakes infront of him, and therefore trying to counter them, but that drags him away from the basics that he should be continuing to live by. He’s between a rock and a hard place. He’s going to get slated every time we concede.
