Not that we could afford his wages and he would want euro football. But $65 mill for Stirling is quite reasonable. He is better than Sancho and if we were to lose raph we would need someone of that quality.

Yeah I thought that recently. Maybe as a swap deal for Raph who will probably be off soon anyway. However, I can't see Stirling wanting to go to a club in a relegation scrap.

Even if we could afford Sterling’s reported wages of around £300,000 a week, his work out of possession probably wouldn’t be up to scratch for Bielsa. And even in a scenario of Bielsa leaving, most fans would probably want to see our squad’s usual good work rate (not the insipid performance of Saturday) maintained - a high earner not putting in a shift wouldn’t be helpful to the squad dynamics.

Funny how as Newcastle come into billions, Sterling might want to leave 💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲.

Richie ££ more appropriate. His name is Sterling after all.

Actually, according to some reports, Sterling seems to prefer the idea of €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ - possibly in Spain.
