So when we look at our best 11 this season once every one is fit, are we stronger?
My thoughts is on paper we are pretty much the same except Janson out and white in and costa in so I think we are relying on improvements from existing players and emergence of young talent.

Weaker because of the Defence which is the foundation upon which the team must play. Slightly stronger in attack. Still don't appear to be converting chances.

Overall weaker, short at right back, CB, DM and striker. Not my favourite thing playing people out of position which is what we will have to do to cover injuries etc. let's hope Bamford or Edmo bang about 30 in as i think we will need plenty of goals this season.

Some of the younger players from last year should be better and make more impact . I would include Shackleton, Clarke, Harrison, Roberts and Bogusz in particular . But overall we will be weaker despite Costa, as the two most important areas of the pitch being central defence and striker are a worry . Central defence undoubtedly weaker without a proper replacement for Pontus . Striker is a big worry . Roofe was on fire when fit last year in the first half of the season . Who is to say he will have such another purple patch . The evidence from past seasons suggests not . Bamford will score some great goals and will continue more often than not to miss the easy chances . Edmondson I fear will be underused .
