U23s exit cup. KP played for a half and did well by all accounts. Last 5 days, it's all gone Pete Wong.

Yep KP, got the best scores really and we struggled without him in the second. No one else really grasped the opportunity. Beradi didn’t look wonderful on the left. Some glimpses of Clarke which will have helped his confidence but he got increasingly frustrated in the second half. Newcastle were a premier league 2 side and the class showed eventually, just kept us at bay and took their opportunities!

Aint it just. Not sure why KP and Berardi were playing when we have some crucial games in front of us. Know its Bubs way but to risk an injury in U23s is a bit rash me thinks.

I'm thinking that KP may have had a little knock, hence hooked early v Wigan then on the bench v Brentford followed by a runout in the U-23s? is Pete Wong a relation of Pete Tong?
