I don’t think Orta believes CDK will sign for Leeds and is actively looking elsewhere for some time.
Marsch has already quoted recently that they don’t expect to land CDK and interests are already with other strikers.
I think some people have to get it out of their head that VO is sitting next to his phone praying that Brugge will phone him eventually and that he is not looking at all for alternative solutions to bring a striker in.
I am totally convinced that there will be a striker incoming, I don’t think Radz will want a repeat of last season.
It will happen.

Totally OP. I know people slate VO somewhat, but If he has been given the remit to spend, then he will spend, and I’m confident he will get both a top striker and a LB over the line with time to spare. And the good thing with JM is that we won’t have to wait 6 months to see them on the pitch!

The CDK transfer saga will go exactly the same way as Raphinha’s, Orta will know precisely what is going on after dealing with an identical situation very recently.
My money will be on Terrier coming to Leeds, he is a recently converted winger but if he can rack up a goal tally that he already has last season, all be it in Lige 1 then let’s do it, there’s not a big choice out there in our price range.
As far as I see it, any proven striker who hasn’t played in the premiership is a lottery.

If Terrier coverts to a striker with the same panache as a a certain Terry Henry (intentional typo) then he would be a great signing, but yet again, I sense a signing from the blue, much as Brumleeds alludes to!

Apparently a bid has been made for left back from PSV which is good news. Don't believe the Belgian lad or the guy from PSG will sign as our new striker so let's please move on, but do believe we will get a new forward in before the start of the season.

Probably end up with Berisha, cheap option and played under JM at Salzburg.
If, and that a big if, we purchase these players for reported 14 mill, (i know paper talk) , would we then look for another as its rumoured cdk was 35 mill plus,

After some optimism this week I genuinely feel like we are out of the running for CDK now. We've waited out long enough and should redirect out focus on another target. He clearly wants Milan move and negotiations are become way too protracted now so move on while we still have a bit of time.
Would take any of Nmecha, Kalimuendo, Zirkzee or Rutter and be extremely happy. Sesko from RB Salzburg looked cracking against Liverpool as well. Maybe we should make another raid of Salzburg.

I disagree. Milan dragging it out is moreso the reason I don't think it will happen, rather than CDK not wanting to come to us if AC bid fails. We have a limited amount of time to get a new striker and at this stage it's just not practical to keep waiting to see what happens.
