Haven't posted in awhile but wanted to do so now. Bielsa is finding out that teams have genuinely prepared against his style of play. He's now very focused on aiming to nullify opposition attacking threats hence his tinkering with KP position and our lack of cutting edge going forward. Defensively it's actually working guys. We look more solid at the back in recent games. Can't see us going down even if Geordies spend big in the window. I can see things improving once Paddy returns and again in January when we bolster ourselves in midfield. However, from the looks of it, I'd say this is Bielsa last season with us. Same for KP and Raph. It's no disgrace guys. Everyone moves on at some point. Also, just a suggestion try lay off the labeled naysayers such as Baz. He's got an opinion just like everyone else. We ought to be sticking together and not pursuing arguments. It's a tough season. We must stay in the league. Fan togetherness will help.

Good to hear from you George.

It’s all about opinions George, welcome back.
I’m not sure the tinkering with KP worked very well, he clearly didn’t look comfortable in his shuffling of the pack by Bielsa.
The big man may be searching for ways for strengthening our defense as much as we need goals. There’s no denying this is a sticky period and Bielsa needs to find a solution but throwing money at it in January isn’t going to solve anything.
I think we do miss Paddy and Ayling, they are key components to how we press more effectively.
I believe confidence is more to do with the problem at the moment and we definitely could do with a couple of back to back wins to restore that.
Can’t see KP leaving for a while yet but I’m pretty sure Raph will be sold sooner than later, but I do hope it’s later.
As for Baz he’s a big boy, if you know that you are going to write things that are contentious then you have to be solid enough to deal with the responses.
I do believe no one is bullying or being personal with him so all’s fair in love and war.
ALAW.

Playing defenders as defenders would be a good idea rather than using one of the best def mid fielders in the world.
We are stronger cause of Forshaw not Phillips.
Welcome to the site George.

Mayb edropping Phillips to CB is also to try and accommodate Foreshaw and Phillips in the same team? They play similar roles so maybe they can't both be in midfield in the system we play?

Forshaw and KP worked absolutely fine in midfield together against Leicester, so don’t think it’s a problem fitting them both in our system without dropping KP back to CB.

An honest, and genuinely good post George!
