Biggest niggle with the transfer or lack of transfer situation is, yes we are clearly shorter on numbers and arguably on quality from last season. But more baffling is why resign Bielsa if we ain’t gunna back the guy. They failed to back him In jan also. Mid table I fear this season 1 step forward n 3 back as f@@@ing usual.

Well according to sources it’s Bielsa himself that is happy with the squad. If not surely he would be pushing for more signings but it was he who wanted White and Harrison and we have got them so maybe he really is happy with what we have.

I think he seems to let the powers that be decide within reason, then he works with what he has got, and I am sure that suits Radz and Co down to the ground.

I have yet to see a manager who would not welcome quality players added to his team. Bubs will work with what he has got and no doubt get the best out of them but he is not a god and injuries and suspensions will hit us hard.

Bud, agree, any decent manager would welcome quality additions. But maybe that is why we haven't been too active in incoming transfers. The quality just isn't there at the moment.
The early loanees tend to be the ones that the parent club definitely know aren't going to be in the first team squad (in our case Harrison) , but the better one are those that just miss the cut after pre-season is complete. Hopefully we are looking at what will be available in a couple of weeks time.
Now I am the first to admit that I am not forensic when it comes to transfer activity of other clubs but I can't see any Championship club that has brought in more quality than they had.
Derby have had to give back all there loanees.
Jansson to Brentford is only a straight swap for their young England centre back.
Flint isn't an improvement for Cardiff and they have lost Zohore.
WBA have gained Zohore but lost Gayle and Rodriguez.
No where can I see a team getting better. Fulham start the season as the hihest quality team, obviously, but even they have lost quality over the summer.
