Class The answer lies in the transfer market. Failure to capture White will be our undoing. Turns us into a midtable team without him. With him, we'd have challenged for a CL place.

Can’t dispute that point George but it was never money for Brighton it was improving us too much. We definitely need quality signings just wanted to focus on the firsts that’s all, the first game back last week the first win today just going to have a few beers tonight and really enjoy he moment then pray for a successful end to the transfer window.

Class You're right it wasn't really about the money for Brighton but the point is we didn't go in big enough hence why they thought about and took time to reflect upon their overall strategy. Had we increased our offer by £10m they might not have been so eager to contemplate the reality of strengthening a rival. While I applaud trying to secure a bargain, those who know the Brighton chairman well realize that was always the wrong approach by us.
