Let's be honest that was most games from last season yesterday. We are like a boxer than spends 11 rounds jabbing an opponent to death only to get caught by a haymaker in the last round.
Firstly our defence was untroubled in open play but corners, when are we going to learn. We had a warning with Dawson getting a free header, quite simply they had too much height. Now I am no MB but why didn't we have guys on the posts, that gives you extra protection.
Bamford is the target of many but in all honesty he helped create most of his opportunities as the service from the wide positions was almost non existent. The delivery from the wings is shocking, little from the right and some from the left although that soon stopped once the ineffective Alioski came on.
Costa did make things happen by running at people and in my opinion we will be far more effective once he starts games.
I like Dallas but Shackleton's drive and pace would be far more useful.
Douglas worries me almost zero end product since he joined us and he gets found out defensively.
We will be there or there about come April time, keep the faith MOT.

Agree 100% also has the individual error with Dallas playing ball across the area but luckily we was unpunished, last week we all praised white and rightly so but yesterday we saw his weaknesses as he lost his man twice at two corners.

Dawson didn't get a free header because of his height. It was because White lost him and didn't even challenge. Poor defending plain and simple.

Great post Canada I agree you might miss it in the ground but when watching on telly you clearly saw how poor white was. but then tv over ground is another debate.

Replay I saw showed Dawson drag him backwards to make a run forward. Clear foul to wrong foot / throw him off balance.

White is a premiership under 23 player still learning his trade! Fair comments on the corner but he is not the only Leeds player to not defend a corner well over the last few years. Again the rest of his game showed class, good positional sense, reads the game well and some timely interventions. Pass to Bamford was pinpoint. If White was a finished product we wouldn’t have been able to get him! I thought he had another good game yesterday. I’d like to see Struick get a game against Salford to see how he does, 6ft 2 Not a giant by today’s standards but might help us and he is good with his head.

Our posts are not about whites ability but the team as a whole not being physical enough for champ and for me how useless our manager is
We were a soft touch last year and he made us softer . Last year we failed this year we will really fail. It’s why that hot tub of hope for me is full or urine.

Useless managers don't finish 3rd in a league they have never managed in before and with a team who were mediocre the previous year.

Last year was ours for the taking Wilde and Norwich manager both new and did better how about wagener for that? All did better with lesser teams
Useless managers don’t learn and Mb ain’t learnt if anything he has made us weaker for me that is not useful and anything that’s not useful by definition is useless I wasn’t overly for Mb staying but I hoped he would learn but he has not so I’m not behind him.

Dawson had his hands in White, just as White had his hands on Dawson. Dawson was stronger.

I agree Canada Dawson did a slight foul on white maybe not enough to be given but enough to make a difference and you can’t learn that it’s jist physical
How many of our free kicks went to cooper and he never scores.
