Well, after the other night's performance, the Man Utd fans want our manager and the Arsenal fans want our manager and goalie. Never thought I would read Man Utd fans saying that we play much better football than them.

I rate Vydra but he turned us down so no time for him now. Seems to be a bit of a mercenary with no loyalties except to money. there's a young lad called Edmonson who is as good as him and a lot younger.

Bamford has played really well in all other areas, it's just not happening in front of goal, I do think if we put him with Eddie it could provide goals .
Not convinced about Costa and if the price tag is anything like I have seen quoted then I'm afraid we are overpaying .

I did rate Green
I reckon Casilla is better than the others mentioned, including BPF, but not as good as Green. However I do concede that Green had an advantage in that he could easily communicate with the outfield players as English is his first language. I am hopeful that Casilla errors last year were down to not knowing the guys he is playing behind and his English communication when under pressure. An example of this, later in the season, was he has eventually realised that Cooper is not at his best when chasing back a through ball. So decides to go forward and clear the ball. However because of his rudimentary communication skills he gets in a tangle with his defender. Hopefully this season he opts to kick the ball come what may, and Cooper realises he has a sweeper/ keeper who is in a better position than him.

Footballing tactician I am not, but; I suspect that a game of four halves with up to 5 subs stoppages is going to help our opponents, by stopping us from getting our tempo up for long enough. Further, missing chances all the time is one thing, but actually saving for the other side just sums him up. Bamfs, a grafted by all measures, but a goalscorer he is not. The club need to draw a line on his chapter in the club's history and sell him asap. Bielsa's loyalty will cost us and we need to sell Bamford and replace. We have had and sold better. He is not indespendible.

I saw enough to be positive about our fitness and ball retention but we need to again work on our final ball as it was woeful. Teams returning from lockdown will utilise defensive tactics whilst they try and build their match fitness. Unfortunately we struggle against teams that pack defences and there were too many hopeful crosses knocked into the box. Wingers need to beat players to draw the centre backs out of position. Roberts needs to protect the ball more as he was careless with possession and Bamford need pressure from the bench in order to hit the work rate required. I just felt that we played to Cardiff's strengths with our final ball and missed a golden opportunity to put some distance between ourselves and the chasing pack however all is not lost.

Roberts plays like it's a training match at times, does some goods things but not much in the final 3rd of the pitch. Bamford has frustrated us all season, sadly he has no competitor for his place at leeds, even when he did he got the nod. Bamford only hope of staying at leeds is if we don't get promotion.

actually ed I do have the same respect for salford. the fans of that club have stood by to see better times come and good luck to them. Although I am a proud londoner supporting a northern team i always have respect for fans who support the local small club and good luck whn they do well
aso for lepiz, what i respect is there commitment to youth and sticking to the ethos and doing well.
lets be honest money talks now days so all successful clubs need money so i think we have to put that to one side. bit like if newcastle start to do well. forget the money that is a given still good luck to the fans and the city. same with leeds.

Chris Chris and whoever gave you a thumbs up, I am a Civil Servant and I do actually do more than a day's work on average. Thou presume too much on the basis of little info re how it actually works, rather than fact. don't beleive all of the myths blossom. I suspect that Radz, Orta and Bielsa know far more than you or I when taking their decisions. ps I would also suggest not getting a government job. Might be a shock to your system cherub.
